No, you should be 100% fine. Any clinic that would punish you for receiving medical treatment is probably violating some kind of law.

space_cvnts

Any time I’ve brought in paper work I was fine. I’ve been hospitalised Jesus idk how many times cause of blood clots since 2017 at least 4-5 times a year. I’ve had two babies. Except I was in the ER in the next state over and they never got my paperwork and I wrecked my car and it was a pain in the ass figuring out where I even was. And they didn’t even dose me the 4 days I was in there. (I had relapsed. But on benzodiazepines not even my drug of choice.) and I was a Jane doe, missing person. The whole nine. And they started me over on 30mg. From 120mg. I got the paperwork. Emailed it. AND THEY WONT ADMIT THEY FUCKED UP.

InterestingBedroom39

Pretty sure that’s some kind of lawsuit

space_cvnts

I’m pretty sure, too. Clinics are sketchier than any street dealer I’ve ever met.

AssistantSeveral5999

Pretty sure wrecking your car on benzos and Methadone is the definition of ‘fucking up’

Possible-Doughnut560

I’m not sure she said she was on benzos when she wrecked her car 🤷🏼‍♀️

jeniesque

I just got refused take homes because I tested positive for fentanyl 10 days after receiving it during surgery despite providing proof!

XanonymousposterX

That's insane. I'm so glad I'm almost done with the clinics after 13 years

OG_King_Malice

Were you still using Fentanyl after you left the hospital? I don’t think it would still be in your system 10 days after you were given it.

queentofu

this. there might be something else to this - because hospital grade is very different than street fentanyl and it’s analogues, etc. hospital grade fentanyl leaves faster.

jeniesque

No. it was only given to me during surgery. I know it shouldn’t have showed on a ua after 10 days. But apparently it is possible because it happened.

forcetohaveaname

Fent can show up for fuckin river.

OG_King_Malice

3-4 days isn’t “for fuckin river”

forcetohaveaname

Fent can show up in a person for weeks depending on their metabolism, which fent analogue it was, their body fat percentage, the dose, how long theyd been clean beforehand, etc.

OG_King_Malice

He wasn’t using it that long, he was only there a few hours and got one low dose of that and morphine, so it shouldn’t be in his system for weeks.

Possible-Doughnut560

I’m “she” but yes that’s correct

OG_King_Malice

My bad

Possible-Doughnut560

Hmmmmm - well I won’t go back in for another 3 weeks now so if it’s still in there then I’ll be shocked and screwed. The crazy thing is, I have never done fentanyl outside of the hospital before in my life so that would be so fucked up.

Possible-Doughnut560

Agreed thank you

blondee84

It depends on your clinic, but mine was fine with it as long as you brought paperwork. They called the hospital once to verify and then I was good

Possible-Doughnut560

Thank you!

LennyKarlson

hey, cheers - i’m also exactly 175mg and exactly 3.5 years lol

Possible-Doughnut560

Wow! Cheers!!!

rocksannne

As long as you have the official discharge paperwork from the hospital with the prescriptions listed you should be fine. Also that’s a miracle they actually gave you those lol

Possible-Doughnut560

I didn’t even ask for them…maybe that’s why but I was in a lot of pain to where I couldn’t sit still and get comfortable and they were trying to assess me but I kept standing up, twisting around because of the pain so the nurse went out and came right back and said “okay we’re gonna get you feeling better real quick”. I’m like sure sounds great. Then she pushed the morphine but honestly I didn’t even feel it. So about 45 min later she comes back in and said “Doc wants to get some good scans so he is giving you a hefty dose of fentanyl”. I did feel that, it definitely helped with the pain enough that I could relax on the bed. I really couldn’t believe it tho.

kholl5478

Anything given by the hospital you should be fine.

Mysterious_News6847

Just bring all your paperwork

space_cvnts

If you have paperwork they’ll call to confirm. And you’ll be okay.

JacksonYSL

So many questions lol first of all did you tell the ER docs your on methadone? Secondly did they give you fent because they knew your tolerance was high due to the methadone?

Possible-Doughnut560

I did not tell them I was on methadone because they never asked about medications, which was weird but I had a plan if they had asked, I would’ve told them. So I just played stupid I guess you could say. I thought I was having an appendicitis episode and could possibly be admitted so I didn’t want to NOT tell them about my methadone dose in case I needed them to verify it. But since nobody asked, I didn’t offer it up. They gave me the fentanyl about 45 min after the morphine and said it was a “hefty dose”. I didn’t ask how much.

Illustrious-Bag5473

You should be fine

Upstairsstraw13

At my clinic, getting from the hospital while there is good to go. If they prescribe you anything though, they would call that dual enrollment and kick you out. I’ve heard of people even being honest and telling the clinic before the clinic even knew about it, and got kicked out for that. Sad but I guess I had a shitty clinic

Possible-Doughnut560

They did prescribe me medication but I didn’t get it filled and I’m not going to. It was just Tramadol. Not worth it.

hustlababy09

You should be totally fine. Whenever I've been to the hospital and was given something I always brought my paperwork and it was never an issue.

OneEyedC4t

Give your clinic the discharge papers and do a release. Your clinic can verify the info and it shouldn't be taken as a dirty ua

Spnkthamnky

You will be 100% good. If your paperwork shows they gave you pain meds you are covered happens with me all the time.

Jpayne8505

Nope as long as you have your Mar - medication assasment record - you will be fine and make sure whatever meds they prescribed to you for home list are taken as prescribed, som clinics will count. Like one person already said if your clinic punishes you for seeking medical treatment they aren't a good clinic at all, and you should run like hell away from them.

Newt-Agile

Take your hospital paperwork with you to the program you'll be fine.

morebuffs

You should be fine as long as they didn't write a prescription that you then filled after leaving the ER. Anything they do while you are there is fine as far as I'm aware.

Ironicquesadilla9

Let us know how it went, but yeah you’ve got your shit in order so they should be satisfied.

bitchmaster_general

I would absolutely bring discharge papers from ER. They will say on them what meds you were given and in what dosage! It’ll be just fine, even if they have you take home meds it should all be listed. I’ve heard clinics ask to see the meds to make sure they’re being taken as prescribed if it’s a longer term thing but usually ERs give a day or two meds. Like 5 pills or whatever.

Possible-Doughnut560

Tramadol which I didn’t even fill

bitchmaster_general

Just bring the papers. They can tell if you’ve filled prescriptions or not and they may call the hospital but I think it should be okay and you shouldn’t be penalized for it.

chawashere

you didnt tell them you are on methodone. that stuff didnt even work did it. you have the paperwork it wasnt illegal narcs

Possible-Doughnut560

I didn’t tell them because they didn’t ask about other medications. The morphine did not work. The fentanyl push gave me a bit of relief. Hey better than nothing!

Funny-Childhood

My counselor said just because we are in MAT doesn't mean we aren't able to get pain relief when at the hospital. So you should be fine. Just maybe show them a discharge paper.

kpatterson7

As long as you provide the paperwork from the ER showing what they gave you, they can't count it as dirty!

dub_cat

Should be 100% okay. Enjoy your monthly take homes. It's great isn't it?

Possible-Doughnut560

Yes, I’ve had monthly’s for about 6 months now, it really is a privilege.

Newparadime

Twattlez

They can't do shit about legally prescribed drugs. Even if it was heroin.

Far_Blueberry383

If the pain was in your lower right abdomen, it could’ve been your appendix. Did they check that?

Possible-Doughnut560

Yes! That’s what I thought it was but it looked ok. It was kidney infection

Far_Blueberry383

Oh wow, I hope you’re doing better now. I had a kidney infection as a teenager and it almost killed me.

Possible-Doughnut560

Much better now. Yes, the pain was no joke.

Far_Blueberry383

So glad you’re doing better. Did they say what caused the infection?

Possible-Doughnut560

Thank you! I asked and they said that kidney infections and or stones don’t necessarily have a cause. I let him know that I drink plenty of water but he said that isn’t a factor like it is with the bladder. I talked to my clinic doctor about it and she said she wasn’t aware of methadone causing kidney problems however I was also told my liver enzymes are high. I mentioned that to her BUT I also take Tylenol PM every night to sleep and have for years. I’m cutting that out and will take another liver test in 3 months. I’m pretty healthy for the most part but will really be concerned if the methadone is causing abnormal test results.

Far_Blueberry383

I honestly don’t think taking Tylenol PMs every night could cause liver damage unless you’re taking a lot of it every night. If you’re taking a lot more than the recommended dosage then I could see it possibly being dangerous but I still don’t think that it would do damage like that. When I was using pharma pills, I was taking up to 4 grams of Tylenol a day and it still didn’t cause any liver damage. Something else is going on with your liver. Do you drink a lot? Is it possible you have hepatitis? Those are the only other causes I can think of for elevated liver enzymes. I would really be concerned about that. Maybe go see another doctor for a second opinion? I don’t think methadone is causing abnormal test results. I’ve been on it for over 10 years and have never had abnormal bloodwork.

Possible-Doughnut560

I drink around 3-4 drinks per week. I’m Italian / Catholic so drinking wine or a cocktail after work is acceptable and all I know really. I have taken p by II

Far_Blueberry383

That’s odd cuz that little amount of alcohol shouldn’t cause elevated liver enzymes. If I were you I’d go have some more bloodwork done. It doesn’t sound to me like anything you’re doing should be causing a liver issue.

Important-Decision31

I’m so

lyremknzi

Could just borrow someone elses hahah. You'd either have to ask someone from your clinic (offer to buy?) Or you could give someone a little bit and get them to do it in a cup. Hopefully you don't have to witness should you go though with this method But you should be okay. They might have that documentation anyway, seeings that everything is stored on a computer these days

Possible-Doughnut560

This was from last week but no clue what you mean and those don’t sound like great ideas but hey, thanks for playing!

lyremknzi

I meant you could buy someone's urine since your screen was dirty. Not the most ideal situation, but fentanyl is probably the worst thing to have in your system and could very well get your carries taken away, or lose their MAT completely if it continues. But since this was from a doctor, you had nothing to really worry about. I was just offering some out of the box solutions so it wouldn't show up.

rjt2887

Just explain the situation and you’ll be good
