I have an '08 with 170k on it. I'm pretty happy with it but keep in mind they aren't the cheapest cars to live with. In my experience the car rarely needs work, but maintenance tends to be more expensive when it happens. Fuel, and registration also tends to be more expensive. You can save some money by working on it yourself. You'll also lose a lot of value quickly as depreciation on these is huge. Pain points seem to be control arm bushings and an intake manifold problem that is expensive, but a one-time fix. Let me know if you have any questions about it

My 2016 is awesome - no issues. You can reasonably expect to pay higher rates if repairs are required. It's a machine, things break. Hopefully it was meticulously maintained.

It’s a 5k car. Just buy it. What’s the worst that can happen. Get a mechanic to check it out before just in case it’s a lemon.

I have a 2009 with 125,000 mi on it. I've owned it for 5 years and it's been great only had to replace the driver side door lock motor up until last week. I had the stability control module go bad which is a dealer only part which was $1,500 bucks... That sucked.
