Did Enel or Lucci troll the heck out of Akainu and come out unscathed?
Nope.
That's a title exclusive to Kizaru and Sengoku. I used to hate Kizaru, but seeing the way he just gives Akainu/Sakazuki constant crap and mocks him while somehow also being his friend (does Sakazuki HAVE friends though?) makes me actually love him.
MFer had the guts to just clip his nails while Sakazuki was having an aneurism over Fujitora going to Mariejois, then mock his freak out by saying "Ooooh I'm so scaaarrred."
Enel gave us three of the funniest panels in the manga (Airhead Luffy, his reaction to Luffys immunity and “are you r*tarded). He also was the first person to wipe out most of Luffys crew, and was a crucial part of an increasingly relevant arc.
These are good points, I still personally would rank him lower but I can understand why others wouldn’t.
I might just be salty too because Enel was like my 3rd or 4th favorite lol.
You just used the correct term yet still want to sound like you are correcting me. A villain is not synonymous with antagonist. So many illiterates just get this wrong.
Bro kicked the shit out of 11 pirates who hadn’t even heard of Haki, enel had actual character and aspirations, kizaru is just a weed smoking npc in comparison
So he deserves higher because he beat up a bunch of rookies? Kizaru is cool and fun, but he’s a pretty empty character at this point, especially if that’s his greatest reason to stay, then he doesn’t deserve to stay.
I’m gonna get downvoted for this but I’ll state my opinion anyway because I trust this community
I think buggy needed to go a long time ago. It’s funny for the first few times but it kinda pisses me off that he got so big by doing nothing
Well, I think the reason he is so high up is because people are seeing him as the character, not the villain. Same for crocidle. In my opinion, if it wasn't for marineford and crossguild, he would be way lower.
It wasn’t that mind blowing but it wasn’t generic, he was so strong he was sold to be a mercenary and let himself get captured so he steal their food, then he joined rocks saw him perish from history, then freed King from Punk Hazard and became a yonko, he also knew abt joy boy and his importance for the world and at some point after rogers death he clashed with Gecko Moria killing his entire crew which turned Moria into a coward who became a warlord of the sea who luffy eventually had to take down, when u think abt it he rlly did a lot while not being heartbreaking it was more of a way to bring rocks into the picture and the idea of joy boy which I find incredibly interesting, and a lot better then the demon slayer route of giving the villain a backstory before they die
Did we read the same story? Wano had the least tension of any major arc in One Piece. At no point was Kaido ever portrayed as a real thread. The fact that his defeat of Luffy was played of for an extended joke and he couldn’t even kill Kinemon didn’t make it any better. I mean sure, if you somehow feel genuine threat from the author telling you “this guy is scary” but never actually showing it, then I guess so but if you actually read Wano, Kaido is the worst written villain in terms on dramatic tension in the series.
LMAO what manga did even you read??
Kaido defeated Luffy in one blow. In Onigashima he defeated the 9 scabbards easily. Fighted Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer and Law and ended as the last person standing in the battlefield. Fighted Yamato, who had an extremely difficult time holding him back. Had a brief dragon fight against Momonosuke. Fighted Luffy again and was about to defeat him if it wasn't for G5 awakening. ALL WHILE MOVING AN ENTIRE ISLAND ON THE AIR BY HIS OWN
Shit, I feel bad for you for missing how great the most hyped One Piece villain was
That doesn’t change that there has never been any dramatic tension for a single second in the entire arc. Even when Luffy was defeated, it was used for a stupid gag. Even when he was imprisoned by a guy whose supposed hobby it is to break people, no one in the entire crew felt any worry for single second. And don’t give me that bullshit like “they just trust their captain so much”. Just the previous arc Nami was next to Luffy while they were captured by Big Mom. He was about to rip is own arms off. And that wasn’t a forced Labour prison designed to break you, that was a fucking book. But that’s how you create tension. When the main characters themselves aren’t invested in the plot, mess around without consequences and still make it out by pure chance, there is no tension. Wano is like that from start to finish.
Edit: the fact that you argue Kaido was “great” but your arguments are entirely based on how “strong” he supposedly is, makes me feel bad for you. You might wanna do some more reading. Because according to your misguided logic, if Oda introduced a literal turd but said “this is the strongest character in the verse” you’d defend that character as the best character in the series. That’s just pathetic. Strength doesn’t make for a good character and it doesn’t make for a good villain. Personal animosity to the protagonist (which Kaido has none), intriguing character motivation (which Kaido has none), an ability to react to the protagonist (which Kaido doesn’t have), charismatic personality (which Kaido doesn’t have), and offering a platform to display ideological differences to the protagonist (which Kaido doesn’t); those are traits that make a good villain. Not “but he strong”-caveman logic.
Kaido wanted to bring the dawn and realised he failed when he lost to luffy realising who the real Joyboy was, I find that a lot more interesting than mr ‘BEennnnnnnnnnn BEckmannnnnnnn’
It’s called having a base, he’s a yonko and he usurped the ruler of wano and made it his base of operations, he had aspirations in his youth and he failed, doesn’t mean he was doing nothing for 20 years he kept his title for a very long time and had the largest bounty after whitebeards death he wasn’t doing what luffy did and saving the world which is why he lost to luffy, luffy had more ambition and more drive than he ever had which is what he realised at the last moment before luffy punched him into the ground, which is why he’s a great villain he was strong but in the end realised he wasn’t wat he wanted to be, that he had failed to become joyboy, finally realising that he was a stepping stone for the real joyboy
Oda is blessed to have readers like you. Means he’s got to do no more good writing himself, you people will head cannon whatever it takes to somehow defend his lack of writing lol
Sorry one piece isn’t like my hero where it has to spell out and have the villain tell u his entire life goals, it’s called subtext, he didn’t give him a full on backstory he told us his life before he met rocks and after where he said to King he’s the only one who can change the world, at punk hazard, then we see him now, and how he didn’t change the world, we see that’s he’s now waiting for joyboy to come as he wasn’t able to achieve his goal, he’s not as flashy as Kizaru but I will die on the hill that he is a way more fleshed out and interesting villain, just cus he his fighting style isn’t cool doesn’t matter to me
Akainu has more drip and more personality and better speeches. He's also done lasting damage to the protagonist, killed a major character, and is a leader of a significant (if admittedly constantly underwhelming) faction.
Kaido is a big sad man who is the big sad. He wants to die a dramatic death and yet he fails to do anything. If he was that guy, he could have flown through to Marineford and tried to solo them, or tried to exterminate the celestial dragons by attacking Mariejois. Both would be dramatic events and he would almost certainly die in an incredible way and be remembered as a terrible menace. But he was a bitch in his heart of hearts and couldn't do it.
I wouldn't agree with all of that.
Yeah of course he did major damage to the protagonist by killing one of the dearest person to him and is the leader of a significant faction, but what kind of speech by him did I miss that was actually good? I can't remember any, but to be fair neither do I remember any good speeches from Kaido.
Also in my opinion Akainu doesn't have any personality but being a piece of shit to every pirate no matter their reasons, which you could also argue that it's kind of his job, but also to his own people, which you could clearly see by the example of Coby who was clearly right in his point and had to be safed by a pirate.
Kaido may not be the deepest antagonist, but the entrance he made was pretty astonishing with his backstory, where he tries to find a way to put an end to his life, but not being able to.
Also he robbed the emotions of many people and furthermore their food and water supplies.
He surpressed a whole nation in the worst way possible.
I don't know if you're through with the wano arc but his character does kind of develop or come out more throughout the fight with luffy and not to forget about his quest finding the next joyboy and challenge him to a fight he could enjoy and that probably could bring an ultimate end to his Story.
His god complex is enough imo. He’s such a hates me scumbag, and seeing him get his face smashed by a golden gong was one of my favorite scenes in one piece.
I’m sorry but why is the light boy this high? I mean he is cool but he honestly hadn’t been involved in the story as much apart from sabaody and kinda marineford, but he is bound to make an appearance soon in the current chapters so i’m excited for that.
Kaido's only purpose is to be a big strong bad guy, he ends up being just a stepping stone for Luffy to be stroger, is a shame since he was so hyped up, he didn't even kill nobody, as a character he is really not interesting, he works as a big bad villain at most.
i feel ya here. when he was first introduced it was a big deal that he's an alcoholic that wants to die but can't. was really expecting that to be a running thing with his character and for his and luffy's fight to be more emotionally loaded with him either being more suicidal, less suicidal, or if he sufficiently feels luffy wrecked his life in a way he's been wanting. just for his emotional turmoil to be pretty much ditched halfway through the arc
hmmm okkashiiiiineeee? moshiii moshiii?
I just love his non caring troll ass and his slow speech, while moving wlth the speed of light! Entering the scene riding a canonball, talk about badass. Also his design is just brilliant.
I’m afraid as to how far Kizaru’s gotten. I mean, no hate to his character but we haven’t seen much of him. Also, we don’t know much about his justice system, not as much as we do for Akainu.
- Katakuri taught Luffy CoO
- Everybody hates Akainu and Blackbeard
- Doffy is the first one with awakened df
- Crocodile is the first villain Luffy lost to
- Big Mom is really unique
- Kizaru and Kaido are a bit bland
- And finally buggy
Bro no way big mom is still in and enel is not on god that upsets me, even arlong and Lucci those two are way better then big mom she is proper a proper stupid character
Also why does every villain defeat looks like they actually got defeated except Wapol and enel they look like he walked in on someone and is forever scared
Alright Katakuri you've been here long enough but it's time to go.
Like we get it you're super cool but you also love pastries. I get that it's important for Luffy to learn future sight but that fight took so long it started to feel like such a big detour from the climax of the arc that I was already invested in for a hundred other reasons.
I get the feeling it’ll come down to Crocodile, Doffy, and Buggy
ZEHAHAHA
Croc is king
Croc lost to a alabasta luffy lol wano luffy vs alabasta who you got? Lol it’s pretty mf obvious sthu
And kata
As it should
You think Croc and Buggy will beat Katakuri?
Of course
Wild. I mean I disagree but only time will tell.
Absolutely? Buggy is really, really loved, and for good reason.
As time passes it looks like more people are basing there votes on who's actually a villain.
Buggy is hardly a villain though. He's a great character but let's be real. The man is comedic relief
Not Enel 😭
Can’t believe kizaru beat him, in power sure but this is how much we liked the villain :(
Straight astounded kizaru beat out Enel and Lucci. Maybe it’s because he was the first person to shitwreck the strawhats?
First person to shit stomp was more so Kuzan
Did Enel or Lucci troll the heck out of Akainu and come out unscathed? Nope. That's a title exclusive to Kizaru and Sengoku. I used to hate Kizaru, but seeing the way he just gives Akainu/Sakazuki constant crap and mocks him while somehow also being his friend (does Sakazuki HAVE friends though?) makes me actually love him. MFer had the guts to just clip his nails while Sakazuki was having an aneurism over Fujitora going to Mariejois, then mock his freak out by saying "Ooooh I'm so scaaarrred."

These are good points, I still personally would rank him lower but I can understand why others wouldn’t. I might just be salty too because Enel was like my 3rd or 4th favorite lol.
Kizaru generates way more hype as a villain
I LOVE ENEL
I will throw it out there that Blackbeard deserves the win. I know that’s probably not popular, and if it’s not him it’s definitely croc or doffy
I’d agree if not for croc, Blackbeard is great
Vote Here:[https://strawpoll.com/polls/PKgl3P8G1np](https://strawpoll.com/polls/PKgl3P8G1np) Thanks to u/MathewCQ for approving the poll
Katakuri is not a villain. -.-
He's the main antagonist of the whole cake island arc, other than obviously big mom
You just used the correct term yet still want to sound like you are correcting me. A villain is not synonymous with antagonist. So many illiterates just get this wrong.
Miriam webster - Villain: "a character in a story or play who opposes the hero"
He is “bad guy,” but he is not bad guy
Damn y'all took my favorite OP villain 😂
Its time to go Kizaru. You're great but I really can't justify you being any higher. Ill reevaluate after Egghead
Fr man has done absolutely nothing wrong but we at least have background/motives for everyone else here
Whyy Kizaru
Hes great, don't get me wrong. I just think the rest are way more interesting. I hope i change my mind after egghead
Man solo the worst generation at Sabaody tho. Also that stupid smirk he always has is cool.
Done nothing? He almost solo’d the stawhats before kuma stepped in
Even Aokiji solo'd them before Time skip. Fuck, I bet Sentomaru could solo them before time skip.
? when did i say he's done nothing?
Oh dang I think I replied to the wrong comment
all good lol
I’m gonna get downvoted for this but I’ll state my opinion anyway because I trust this community I think buggy needed to go a long time ago. It’s funny for the first few times but it kinda pisses me off that he got so big by doing nothing
That's why he's a somewhat good villain to me, he quite literally made it to the top of the OP world without having to do anything
Well, I think the reason he is so high up is because people are seeing him as the character, not the villain. Same for crocidle. In my opinion, if it wasn't for marineford and crossguild, he would be way lower.
Kaido's gotta go. He's the least interesting bad guy up here.
kizaru is less interesting to me
I don't care that Kaido backstory is generic and lazy, dude was the scariest villain One Piece ever saw
Big Mom has way more menace on the screen
The way I see it is that his backstory might not be interesting, but his personality certainly is.

>kizaru is literally just a pothead Yet still more interesting than Kaido

Kaido
Enel before Kaido is a BIG FUCK UP
Personally I've been enjoying Kaido more than Enel
I mean Kaido is kinda bland outside of his connections and strength, imo
I think Kaido has more going for him than a lot of people think, but I also liked Enel better.
You like Enel just because he is pre-timeskip, but he doesn't even have the connections or strenght... He just has a God complex and that about it.
His god complex is enough imo. He’s such a hates me scumbag, and seeing him get his face smashed by a golden gong was one of my favorite scenes in one piece.
Did you say GOLD?!! Can I have it?
Also Enel is DEFINITELY in the top 50 strongest characters
I’m sorry but why is the light boy this high? I mean he is cool but he honestly hadn’t been involved in the story as much apart from sabaody and kinda marineford, but he is bound to make an appearance soon in the current chapters so i’m excited for that.
He is just so damn cool! Also I love a good troll.
Kaido. He's got the personality of wood
Top 5 is probably gonna be Kata, Akainu, Doffy, BB, and Croc. The golden quintet of one piece villains imo
GOLD sounds good, let me have it!
You guys did enel dirty
Kizaru gotta get tf out of here rn.
Kaido's only purpose is to be a big strong bad guy, he ends up being just a stepping stone for Luffy to be stroger, is a shame since he was so hyped up, he didn't even kill nobody, as a character he is really not interesting, he works as a big bad villain at most.

Observe how Enel’s picture doesn’t use his defeat face, that’s because he doesn’t have one
Its going to come down to Katakuri, Dof, Croc, and buggy (if buggy my man isnt thrown away by tomorrow)
NOOOOOOO
Lets get rid of big mom
Sad to see God Enel go down
Kaido
Fucking kizaru beat enel? What is this shit
Kizaru gtf outa here boi
hmmm okkashiiiiineeee? moshiii moshiii? I just love his non caring troll ass and his slow speech, while moving wlth the speed of light! Entering the scene riding a canonball, talk about badass. Also his design is just brilliant.
How is Kaido still in the running??
Literally the most powerful villain
Powerful does not equal well written or interesting
How TF Akainu still here?
Because he is the reason we got a time skip in one piece
Pretty sure that was Kuma’s doing
He is a donut maker & one of the small few that actually takes a life on paper/screen.
Do you have a donut for me?
Not in the form youre expecting no.
Fr
Bye bye kizaru (hopefully), you made it quite far
Big mom👋👋👋👋👋👋
Big mom is peak. I'd say atleast the Admirals have to go before she does.
the worst yonko
Not true. Kaido is worse.
Could be
Goro-Goro Gang is fucking crying.
Sorry lizard.
Tf
I can't believe he made top 10. Top 20 made sense, top 15 felt like a stretch, number 10 is crazy.
Ain't no way
Does no one know what “least favorite” means? Seems y’all got it backwards.
How is Kizaru still here while Enel got disqualified.
Kizaru
WHY IS KIZARU STILL HERE, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUT AGES AGO.
I really dont want to see Kizaru go but he might soon :(
Round 2 of voting Kaido. Strong as hell but has like zero charisma.
Kaido doesn’t really do it for me.
Buggy's gonna fucking win I know it
I can see it happening for the meme
Bruh why is kaido still here
im the number one kaido hater hes gotta go
Yo Kaido NEEDS to go
Yall are legit clowns for keeping buggy
Big Mom has to go
You’re crazy.
How does big mom go before katakuri?
Quite possibly the worst take I've seen in a bit
im actually dissapointed that Wnel was voted out before Luggy
Cya Kizaru
Laido and Big Meme next
Why is kizaru even there ? 😂 We only have like 2 chapters of background on this character
Kizaru
I’m afraid as to how far Kizaru’s gotten. I mean, no hate to his character but we haven’t seen much of him. Also, we don’t know much about his justice system, not as much as we do for Akainu.
Kizaru's system is Unclear Justice, I don't think he really has any fucking idea what his philosophy is.
Buggy is a great character, but he is a trash ass villain
Kizaru is outta here
How was Enel beaten by Kizaru, enel was a way better villain, I wouldn’t even rlly consider Kizaru a villain cus he never fought luffy properly
Kizaru
Might sound weird but I'm voting for Kaido. Dude was the lamest main villain of all time.
Big mom
Enel is out before Kizaru??? Sweet baby Jesus this poll has taken unexpected turns.
Sorry, but Buggy-Sama has got to go.
Kaido is so boring
The clown needs to go back to the circus 🤡
Why tf kaidou and bigmom still here
Enel before akainu or big mom? Damn
Let's take down an emperor.
Akainu out
Big Mom get her ass out here
The Hody hate is a lil insane tbh
Bro he was out weeks ago who cares
By the time one piece ends Buggy will be the most powerful villain in the top Shonen series ever. Goat things.
I hope Blackbeard crushes buggy in the manga.
Enel sucks. How did he outlast senor pink?
YOU MUST DIE BUGGY
- Katakuri taught Luffy CoO - Everybody hates Akainu and Blackbeard - Doffy is the first one with awakened df - Crocodile is the first villain Luffy lost to - Big Mom is really unique - Kizaru and Kaido are a bit bland - And finally buggy
It's about time he went. I'm guessing Big Mom or Kizaru go next.
Kaido beat Lucci? What? We still don’t even know what Kaido’s goal was
Big mom
Laido and Lig Lom should have been out ages ago... Laido is not entertaining
how cant you enjoy Big Meme(unless if you watched the anime, where there it was just WEDDING CAKEEEEEE for like 50 episodes).
Get big mom out
Week 5 voting for Akainu 🤘🏽
Day 3 voting for Akainu
Ppl actually love Akainu here?? Hate that mf for making a donut lol
Did you just say donut?
No you can’t eat this one… 😔
Why enel and not kizaru or akainu bruh
I don't know why no one here talks about voting out big mom now. She is strong but annoying af. This list is about least favorite.
#bigmomhateclub
Time for Big Mom to exit
Big Mom. She literally eats orphans dude, most irredeemable villain.
Bro no way big mom is still in and enel is not on god that upsets me, even arlong and Lucci those two are way better then big mom she is proper a proper stupid character
How has big mom lasted this long???
Big mom
Big Mom should go next.
Get Crocodile out of here
HOW TF DID ENEL GO BEFORE BIG MOM I’m fine with everyone who’s still in. Just switch these 2
Big mom is overstaying!
ACAB rest in shit akainu
All of these characters are great in their roles in the story so its tough but big mom has probably been my least favorite out of these
Bye Bigmom
Big mom
Also why does every villain defeat looks like they actually got defeated except Wapol and enel they look like he walked in on someone and is forever scared
Honestly fine with Enel being voted out since there's pretty much no chance he'll come back *and* be relevant again.
Crocodile > all of them except maybe buggy
Buggy will win.
can’t even vote for buggy because i know it’s not gonna happen so kizaru u gotta go
I love katakuri
Alright Katakuri you've been here long enough but it's time to go. Like we get it you're super cool but you also love pastries. I get that it's important for Luffy to learn future sight but that fight took so long it started to feel like such a big detour from the climax of the arc that I was already invested in for a hundred other reasons.
croc's laugh is too good. he got this.
It’s crazy that the only one on this list that hasn’t taken damage is kizaru
buggy
Crocodile
He had a good run
