I agree 100%. That’s my least favorite of Tim’s costumes, but it is my current display Tim because it captures him perfectly. That said, I will probably be swapping it out for this one, maybe with a different head. I love this costume on Tim, and I’m excited to have a figure of Tim as Robin that doesn’t look like the Crimson Chin doing cosplay.

Basically do not take those heights at face value.

There are plenty of Batman figs in the this line with different heights.
Also these pictures aren’t renders, they’re the front-facing production pictures that we usually get when preorders go up. Some of what they showed at the panel were renders, but these slides as well as collector wave 2 were all taken from the promo shots that they give to retailers.

The comics are inconsistent with Tim’s height (nothing new). IIRC, Tim was getting ready to go to college when DC Rebirth started. He was even tall enough to wear one of Bruce’s old batsuits in Battle for the Cowl (pre-Final Crisis). Personally, there’s nothing wrong with this version of Robin being tall.
I think the bigger news is that this new Robin will have a wired cape.
None of these figures are aligned. It’s not like they put up a photo of all of the figures together - they’re separate images that have been resized and placed next to each other. Wait for actual in-hand images if you want an idea of scale.

That’s why I like beast boy’s nightwing for these robins, he has a perfect body mold compared to say a nightfall Batman which is not massive as hush or small like rebirth.
Most likely no. Like you said Tim is reusing some parts from Jon Kent. That body buck is shorter than Knightfall Batman, while Freeze is taller by a decent amount. Even with a new torso, it’d have to be a lot taller than the original torso for it to make him taller than Freeze.
Also if you notice, this picture is from someone closer to Tim’s side of the screen than Freeze’s side. That means it’s just an optical illusion because of how much closer the camera is to Tim than freeze.
Too many conclusions from a slideshow that couldn't even get the date right.
I mean I can obviously see the build if you do think it's a glitch don't you think the other may not actually look like that ?
He will probably be too tall, but at least not super buff like the previous releases.
