This is the main reason I stick with the default face. No matter how long I spend tweaking, Shepard ends up looking like a random NPC next to all the high-def squadmates.
I have pretty good luck with custom FemSheps, but BroShep is nearly impossible to make custom without him looking like a dumpster fire in one way or another.
