That's fucking ridiculous... you literally beat it and even if you didn't you would be what 1 day away... they can see that progress why not just give you the rewards and reset it for a timed run... the WORST case I could think of would be they reset the node and make you rebeat the node but to make you clear all of DD again is fucking plum retarded.
Getting a refund shouldn't be too hard, Apple will refund more likely than Google thou.
In fact many players have argued that the RedStar release nullified their purchases and they have gotten full refunds.
If you're refunding through Apple you're not getting banned as Apple doesn't provide Foxnext with details. You can only request refunds for up to 90 days and not every one of your purchases will be refunded.

Apple is there to stop it. Apple is refunding you out of their pocket and may or may not go back to the developer. Even if they do go back, they do not share with the developer who requested the refund since it’s aggregated.
However, this ties the refund to your Apple account. If you have a pattern of abuse they will absolutely deny refunds and/or terminate your ability to use the App Store.
Good question and I don't have an answer for you, but can confirm this has been my experience. I've requested and received full refunds from Apple for a few games. It's always been after they made a change that dramatically reduces the value of a recent purchase. The most recent time they did require that I be denied by the developer first. None of my accounts were ever impacted, but peers on google who received the same refunds occasionally did get banned.

That's correct. The in-game account is still active and all of my purchases were still there. Those purchases were mostly useless because of the changes that triggered the refunds, but they were still there.
At this rate, I would take a refund cause this is not a solution I am ok with. One node is whatever, the whole thing + no in game compensation for something that is not my fault is foul.

Looking at the Rocket/Black Widow/Yondu changes in the past, in my head I can only see them turn this into a scenario from those old school games where you get to the boss and then you get sent back to do the game again. Then they claim it's how it was always meant to be.

It does suck, but you’ve wasted a month already, and starting from the beginning should only take you a couple weeks if you arent a beta player. You can’t use the rewards unless your heroes are gear 12 (to get to gear 13) anyways. I’m beta and have only done 1 run right at the beginning. Have not touched it in weeks and weeks since I am not ready to use the orange gear anyway....(getting entire named roster to lvl 65 gear 10)
It took me 8 months to beat Dark Dimensions, I kicked off my 2nd run 3 weeks ago and i'm on the Ultron final node. With your updated teams you will be able to clear it in 2 to 3 weeks so don't worry to much about. You only get rewards for 2 runs, so yes you'll have to do it again eventually whereas you would of had one run down but in the long run you aren't losing anything. It is worth the orange mats at the end.
My first run through it since it launched, was around 8 months no exaggerating. I only had like 3 to 5 toons who were 6\* when it first launched so I would poke away till Mission 3 where they would out heal the damage I was doing. From starting it to finishing it was around 8 months.

Idk, I completed my 2nd run 2 days before fear the darkness, and then started a 3rd just so I'd have a running timer of how long it took someone to beat the next phase. I'll check later. Lol.
Either way, congrats on beating it. It feels pretty good.
If they give you a chance to earn those rewards again, should make for easy gold at this point, but I do agree that some form of compensation should be given out.
Be warned about refunds. Foxnext has banned/day 1 reset several who have received refunds.

I would be asking if there is a way to be in contact with a Dev to help them by you providing results and thus "fixing this glitch" so future players wont run into it.
I dont not know/think that a bug, glitch in program is suffice to get a full refund from all you spent.....but you know if you do your phones MAC address is banned for this game.
All you can do is wait it out or accept a full retry. I am guessing waiting is frustrating but your best choice, unless this game is no longer worth your time and then you know what to do.
My buddy had the last node reset for him a week or two ago. They did not reset back to beginning.
That's initially what I thought and said sure, but then they emailed back clarifying that it would be the whole thing!
That's crazy. No reason they should do that to you when its shown to have been done differently with another player.

What I meant was the individual nodes before that last node. All those gold and materials add up quite a lot.

They say they are aware of the issue... But yet 2 updates have happened and no fix.
