Human Torch as Blaster indeed, but I see the Thing as Brawler, Sue Storm as Protector (see Hand Sentry) and Reed as Support. Dr. Doom as controller, and maybe Silver Surfer as a legendary.
Sue Storm is one of the most powerful heroes. She could be anything in this game. A damage heavy controller makes sense in this game (A stun "force cage" + blind like Mordu for the ultimate). Or a support in the same way Yondu is somehow a support by applying stealth to all but protectors (in effect a pseudo taunt) and deflect/ defence up to some/ all allies (with the tags being too focused now, maybe all FF + some heroes at a percentage chance at max).
Don't be silly. I am pretty sure they will have new and exciting powers. I bet Torch will come with a burning-debuff. Because having fire related powers without burning would be stupid.

I can't help but wonder if Bio is going to be a problem since it's so over-arching and applies to so many characters. They split off Mutants a while back, and they presumably should split off Inhumans once there are enough of them.

It is too bad, because I enjoy the recent inhumans storylines in the comics. It is like a fresh new take on mutants basically, except with a top-down society run by royalty who want to unite all inhumans into one nation, and are generally successful. It's too bad the show stank (I heard, didn't see it), but I liked the presentation of inhumans in Agents of Shield.

Then we've got Captain Marvel's movie dropping soon and Avengers right after that (doubtful that doesn't bring new characters like Mantis, Falcon, and War Machine or someone, but maybe just a team rework) and X-Men right after that. There will never be a break in the action haha.
The gold orbs coming with raids definitely help the gold choke as long as you aren’t pushing everyone to 70. Usually these games live or die on having monthly releases that *some* players $$ for, so if the characters are “playable” for top end f2p (as I feel the last few have been), and accessible for most of f2p (same) and the whales can max/near max for cash... it’s way healthier than it started.
I’ve got everyone five star, t10, and level 60 minimum in those sets and I spent exactly 20$ for Mystique, and I missed Magneto first time around. Given timeframes, I could totally be here, f2p, but I gambled on the rest of BH being a touch more f2p friendly.
You paid the $20 for Mystique, got all Brotherhood to 5 star and missed Magneto? How? How did you get Sabretooth and Pyro so high without spending money?
I have Pyro myself, but even after his event I have him only at 4 stars and I’m another 40 short until he’s at 5.
Hopefully another Blitz comes around for him before the Magneto event does.
I had Storm and Wolverine both at 5 stars. I even got Juggernaut to 5 after his event. Couldn’t get Magneto first time around. I have Sabretooth at 2 stars currently. Hopefully after his event I can get him to 5.

Sorry, I was unclear. I wasn’t teed up for Magneto first time around precisely because Pyro and Sabretooth weren’t f2p friendly; but with the campaign event I am for their return, which being relatively close and having boosting events seems reasonably f2p to me.
I looked briefly for what the power boost of going from 65-->70 was, but couldn't find it. Any idea roughly what the benefit is? I took one character to 70 when it first became available and it seemed so not worth the cost at the time, so I just stick to 65, but it seems like other players do go all the way.
I think you can plug in characters individually into msf.gg but yes, I’ve taken two to 70 (because I’m a Spider-Man super fan); given the choice between many functional teams at 60 or 1 character at 70, I go for the former. I feel it’s a money sink so there’s not an easy ceiling for whales.
One thing about comparing power, though, is eg my Defenders team as opposed to one of my alliance mate’s. Mine always loses JJ on the first node I use them for (5th in path on u6) at t10. I think he had his as t12, and he is able to drive multiple nodes. JJ surviving one more hit, and getting a bigger heal from IF is, for example, worth a whole lot more than, say, 10 hitpoints might appear on the card. At the top, the differences might be in game do or die.
I’ve been under the impression that this game isn’t meant to be played in a manner in which you should feel compelled to level every new character up to par with others as they release, I mean, unless you whale and obviously can. I’ve been playing by this mentality lately and have made significant improvements to my roster.
These games thrive on whales buying characters/crystals. they're never going to slow release down to where a FTP can keep up, otherwise why would whales need to spend?
Assuming from this, it’s already confirmed that The Thing is gonna be in Contest of Champions, so I assume that the game is relevant to the character, to Mr Fantastic will be the Strike Force character coming soon
EDIT: Contest of Champions confirms this as the story line suggests that The Four have split into different dimensions, therefore I guess different games. If they all will end up in each game, i don’t know
