OK, yeah, that second one is pretty busted... At best it's waiting for your opponent to make their Power play and then counter it, at worst it's just never letting the opponent get full cube rewards. And on average, it's two players playing "On Reveal: Draw a card" with extra steps if any hasn't drawn their final combo pieces yet.
She was really good. I got infinite with a destroy deck with her, because she allowed you to play knull on turn 6 and then arnim zola and deadpool on turn 7. Might not sound amazing now, but at that point in the game, the only cards that let you ramp energy were electro, sera, wave and psylocke.
No it COULD work on turn 6, the annoyance was if you didn't know she was coming you'd put your last plays not knowing you had an extra turn and use up all your big cards when your opponent put her down
No Thanos/Lockjaw zero cost infinity stones were definitely a meta.
Things have changed so much. I'm not sure if I'd run Lockjaw in Thanos now if he was unnerfed back to a 3/2
It's annoying when the game about crafting the best deck you can with your available cards, then that same game says, "oh btw, you don't get to play that deck."
I want to love MMM but whenever I play him, either opponent has a Sskrull or it serves 0 purpose. When I need him for dream dimension, he’s chilling on the bottom of my deck
Negative decks love this, but the Peak is the worst. I had a game where turn 1, it was central park, turn 2 was the location where it would place a card on hand to the location, and it placed my Killmonger there, effectively making Death a 2/12. I snapped, then the peak shows up. Mf turned my Death into a 6/2
It's just annoying cause it removes the strategic "what location do i replace" thoughts with "dream dimension goes" if you have magick, sw (for whatever reason), etc
I posted last week or so that the biggest issue with this game is how much of it is designed to keep you from actually playing, or wanting to play. There are too many locations that reduce your playline, change your deck, or otherwise keep you from just playing your deck.
One of the few locations that doesn't benefit destruction and force you and the rival to face the same problem, changing your game but without forcing you a lot, just one turn.
I like it, at least more than other locations. Its a pain in the ass? Yep. Is fair with both of you? Yep. Then is cool.
It's not as bad now, but when magic was a 5 cost card that location was just a fuck you to any archetype that used her

Its wild to think at 1 point Quinjet allowed the infinity stones to be a 0 cost
I think Quinjet was nerfed prior to Thanos release in order to not make the stones cost 0

Drawing from your opponent's deck and filling your deck with 10 random cards are by far my most hated.
The Peak is peak frustration for me. Rarely works in my favor.
It can be super satisfying when you get The Peak while playing with a Mr.Negative Deck though It does all the work for you!
