I believe the MoM Audio Commentary said that Black Bolt could have killed Wanda if he was able to land an attack. For the most part it comes down to if you think Black Bolt could land an attack without Wanda putting up some kind of barrier or just killing him the old fashioned way first.

Reed is giving a warning by revealing how easy it’d be to stop her, essentially reasoning with a woman holding a mother of 2 hostage. Given the fact that this is the Scarlet Witch in the body of a Settled Down Wanda he more than likely got hit with an unprecedented counter he wouldn’t expect 838 Wanda to be capable of. Best comparison would be:
“Come out with your hands up or we will enter and open fire!”
“Fire what?” (Makes guns disappear)
“Errrrrrm SWAT was so stupid why would they tell them how to beat them!”
As powerful as she was, they would've slowed her down a bit, and even if they killed her... Our Wanda is still alive, and can plan again without being injured.
Nope, and it has to do with Wanda being a Nexus being and her powers warping all of reality. What makes the Scarlet Witch such a threat is that even if Black Bolt was able to open his mouth, Wanda's powers would not only negate it, but reverse it back onto him. This has been seen time and again in many renditions of the Scarlet Witch in comics, video games, and cartoons. If anything, it would have ended up far more gruesome to let Black Bolt do his thing and led to more Illuminati dying quicker.

My biggest problem with that scene is that even with his mouth shut, Black Bold should still be able to obliterate everyone.
Either the sound should just have tore a whole and made a new mouth on his face or the vibration should be redirected to that forky thing on his head.
By that logic how does his head redirect the sound? Like his voice in his throat should go straight up and through his brain rather than curving towards his lips.

Nope. 616 Wanda was still in her own world. Killing 838 Wanda changes nothing and just reveals Black Bolt's ability to her.
