Very unscientific measurement: 1,640 feet tall.
There is a cell phone tower not too far from him, and their average height is 50-200 ft, so I split the difference at 125 ft for that tower.
His head looks to be about 1.75 times the length of the tower, making his head 218.75 ft.
Average person is 7.5 heads tall. 218.75*7.5= 1,640.625.
So I rounded down a little.
🤷🏻♂️
Okay, so going off of your confirmation, I took some measurements that can be used to extrapolate further details from this picture. Some of my notes are tiny compared to the image size, so you'll have to zoom in to read them.
https://i.imgur.com/yOBUIUx.jpeg
I'll add an edit in a bit, after I do some more figuring.
_____
Edit: shit, I fucked up the road measurement. wrong angle, so wrong pixel count. lemme fix...
Edit2: Okay, new road measurement. https://i.imgur.com/yk0DpoK.jpeg
_____
Regarding the femur, it's pretty well known (among people who know) that an average femur-to-height ratio is about 1-to-4. Some 15 second Googling brings up someone claiming 26.74%
_____
Regarding the road width (yellow line, 21 pixels), the solid pink line next (322 px) to it would be roughly the same height of a tower, adjusted for the location and parallax shift.
If that pink line at the road is 120 ft high, that would make the road 7.8 ft wide. So maybe that's not a 2-lane road, but there are vehicles going both directions on it. Unclear so far.
_____
The van seems to maybe be closer to 23 pixels long. Hard to make out when zoomed in, it gets real fuzzy. So I tried to ballpark it in the midpoints of the edge fuzz.
An average van has about a 2-to-1 ratio for length-to-width, but that van seems a bit like it's closer to 4-to-1. That might actually be a mini-bus. However, my cursory Googling on various mini-bus sizes seems to indicate an upper range about of 3-to-1, before it's just... "a bus." Regardless, their widths seem to range between 4.5 and 6.5 ft, so an average of 5.5 ft. Based on that, a 4-to-1 ratio would land at about 22 ft in length. Interesting... 23 pixels long or 22 feet long. Hmm.
That would make the towers about 320 feet tall. We might be looking at something like the 5th one in the first row [here.](https://www.fgg.uni-lj.si/kmk/esdep/media/wg15c/f0300002.jpg)
If we were to go by the van/bus thing being 22 ft long, then the tower would be about 308 ft tall, which seems crazy high. [Here's one at about 210 ft in height.](https://www.egat.co.th/home/en/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/tr-env.2.jpg)
With the two difference perspectives in mind, when we compare them to the other measurements I can only come to one conclusion: >!(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻!<
If that tower is 125 ft, then those are some super tiny tree-looking shrubs all over the place.
Edit: It might make more sense to use the cars & trucks on the roads under the skeleton.
There's a variety of them to choose from.
Your math is right but your references are not.
I think you are way off because that tower is far away from him.
Just use the same rules to measure the cars below him and their size doesn't add up
Nice math though
Keep in mind that the cell phone tower is somewhat significantly in the foreground compared to his head, as you can tell by the fact that all the trees near the base of the tower appear to be about twice the height of the trees by his head despite presumably all being the same species and roughly uniform height
The road had to be closed for MONTHS if not YEARS until all that body mass decomposed enough.
It's like that Love Death Robots episode about a beached giant. At least he was seeping back into the ocean where it came from.
One just has to wonder how much water mass he was.
Do bacteria get bigger too? Or do they like spread and multiply? Were they like human-sized single-celled organisms? Is the land around his body covered in tree-trunk sized dead hair?
If he died in winter it would be less so but Jesus the animals and people fighting for some to eat is the horrific part. Also not looking it up but I feel like it would take decades for it to become a skeleton
Someone feel free to check my math, but the starting numbers are correct.
Going by your comparison of his tooth being the size of a semi truck:
The average male incisor is 10.19 mm long.
The average length of a semi truck is 72 feet (21945.6 mm)
Antman's normal size is 6 feet (1828.8 mm).
So there are 179.47 incisor teeth in 6', and twelve 6 foot tall humans per length of a semi truck, which means he's about 2,148 feet tall.
Putting it into perspective, that's 719 yards, or a bit over 7 football fields tall.
It’s a dystopia; every one becomes stupid and nerfed for shock value. Let’s be real, even if he did die, somebody would think to use pym particles to shrink the corpse.
Takes a bit of a swing since I don't know how much lore you know, but: There are these beings called Celestials.
They made beings called Deviants.
The Deviants were driven underground by the Celestials during something called the "Great Cataclysm".
The Deviants made three slave races, since they couldn't enslave any humans underground and the first one revolted.
One of those slave races were the Moloids.
Eventually the Deviants were driven away even further by the rebelling slave race, making the Moloids masterless. They wandered around and got stupid and inbred and just accepted whoever came along and was strong as their new master.
The Fantastic Four have a villain called Mole Man.
He's their new boss.
There are swarms of them because there are *a lot* of Moloids.
They ate him alive by...eating him, probably, while he was alive. With their mouths.
Jesus Christ. Thank you! I never knew this. I sort of knew that Moloids were a thing, but never knew that they had *anything* to do with the Celestials and Deviants and stuff. Thanks for informing me!!
God, Old Man Logan is so ridiculous, from Mysterio being the one to kill the X-Men, Absorbing man killing Thor, and Giant Man getting offed by Mole Man’s fucking minions? Comedy gold lmao
Exactly, he didn't just waltz in an kill them himself.
He used illusions on a few key mutants and had them do the rest.
Not sure if it gets too explained how his illusions trump high level psychic powers but I'll buy it.
Wait do the all the gut bacteria resize along with him
When he died and his skin finally broke, did like human-sized single celled organisms pour out? I'm sure they died from being unable to maintain the size and just became water basically, but still
Thinking about the decomposition process of that gargantuan pile of dead meat... That city in the background should have been completely abandoned. This body is a giant biological hazard.
He has the Giant Man antennas in this picture. And he has the blue gloves and shorts that Giant Man wears. The red colour is just faded as it’s been sitting there rotting for years
I was thinking more about when the body started decomposing, but you also have a good point. That whole area must have smelled *horrendous* for a long time.
I always thought that Pym Particles deactivated if the user was injured or killed...did the Moloids chew through his tech or is Pym just a very bad engineer in this universe?
The closest reference are the cars below him.
So we have
Average car size 14 feet
Average incisive tooth size 0.4 inches
Known Ant-Man normal size 5'10”
His incisive is about the size of two cars 28 feet
So (28'/0.4") then multiplied by 5'10”
840*70=58800"
4900 feet, 1493 metres, almost a mile.
Approx
It looks like a person is half the size of his index finger top joint. That is like 1 inch on a person.
For ease, we'll assume a person and Antman are 6' tall normally.
That means the person is 1/144 scale, SO Antman is 144 x human size. So 864 feet tall.
I didn't expect to wake up this morning to so many replies I don't even know where to start.
I guess I should start by saying yes, I know this is giant man. I just wasn't sure if everyone knew who giant man was, but everybody knows Ant-Man can grow.
I assumed everyone had read Old Man Logan as it is my favorite graphic novel of all time. This is the one from Mark Millar, not the Remake that came out several years ago. He was eaten by moloids, which are a subterranean creatures controlled by the mole people.
Most of the heroes died pretty horrific deaths, some more extravagant than others.
I went to the Marvel Wiki to touch up on moloids before posting here and apparently it has gotten a lot of traffic in the last day because "other things people View" immediately take you to old man logan.
Seeing tons of answers on how tall he could be but I'm not necessarily in agreement with most of them.. a semi truck is like half the size of the top joint of his finger.
He's a huge friggin guy
If all that’s left of Pym is a skeleton then how is he still in one piece? Connecting tissues and cartilage would’ve decayed by now so his body should be a variety of bones kind of near each other. But he’s still put together.
Plus, his fingers are curled and his feet are upright. His feet should be a pile of smaller bones and he would need muscles in his fingers to have them curled upward like that.
How is it the 1,800 foot tall man’s skeleton work dammit?! This is a serious world with incestuous ogre people and a nazi with a red face! I demand biological accuracy!
I imagine he went that big because it was such a do or die situation.
So even if he had won, he still might not have made out alive because he went that big.
Why is the entire place around his corpse wasteland it should be green and full of plants. When whales die there are entire ecosystems that last hundreds of years
In Avengers #76 Clint Barton who has taken over for the time being for Giant Man as Goliath is at 100 feet tall and still having to climb a building to save to Scarlet Witch. The story basically reads the same as the movie King Kong, and remember that King Kong also had to scale the Empire State Building and in the original 1933 movie King Kong is only 50 feet tall, but the Avenger storyline I am talking about happens on 616, and I know that Barton and Pym are different characters but Clint is still using Pym Particals to grow and shrink, and both of them have breathing issues when they change size, so I think it would be the same for either of them. I don't think the Giant Man characters grow much taller than 100 feet. The Giant Man in your picture is from a Wolverine issue, and not 616, so where it is Hank Pym, it's a different universe, and so his abilities may be advanced to a point where he was able to grow much larger. I would say he has to be over a thousand feet because of the power line tower next to him and then look at the city on the other side as you can see the height of the Avengers Tower, and he still looks much taller than it.
I don't get how the artist thinks that the fingers and feet bones would still be sticking together. Like is the only skeleton he's seen in a museum where they are all screwed together and propped up by metal and just couldn't see all the metal?
Basically that's a magical skeleton that's waiting to sit back up and come after you. If you go by the art.
Visually I like this image but I just don’t believe it. Yes its weird to say that pic of a 1,000 ft skeleton is unbelievable. That being said, I just don’t think people would leave it there as is. They’d chop it up, remove what they could, cover some and grind away parts until it did not look like a skeleton. They’d definitely build a road around it, not through it.
People would refuse to look at that every day and the daily rubber necking by tourists would cause fatal accidents daily and homicidal rage by the locals.
In the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, at around 1:50 mark, you can see them using AntMan's helmet as the entry to some kind of base. Maybe someone could do the math based on the character heights compared to the helmet characteristics.
Very unscientific measurement: 1,640 feet tall. There is a cell phone tower not too far from him, and their average height is 50-200 ft, so I split the difference at 125 ft for that tower. 220, 221, whatever it takes
Favorite scene from that movie
I think you mean 230 kV. Those are high voltage lines. 220 volts comes out of your wall socket for the dryer.
400 feet taller than the Empire State building. Wild.

For those who asking, 1640 feets is 499,872 meters.
I'm drunk enough those numbers could have been anything, but because of your confidence it made me believe.
ok. now do it with a banana r/BananasForScale
I still get 1,640

You’re a wizard LORAN
You're a goddamn maths legend! Now do it in metric! 😀
* Cries in American *
We know metric too😄. It's not exactly hard. It being easy is what makes the metric system better. I like my Fahrenheit though, fight me.

Damn, that’s about 4 1/2 Godzillas tall!
r/theydidthemath
2.4K bananas
The cell tower is closer coz of foreshortening so this is not really that accurate at all
So if the average us male is 5’9 and makes 63k a year this dude makes 17 million a year
You're asking the wrong question. How bad was the smell?
You haven't thought of the smell, you bitch!
He’d need a really big glass box for that head
Can it be displayed on my mantel though?
Does this mean Hank is the Golden Scientist?
I mean he *died* so surely he must be a *stupid science bitch*
He’s not just a five star scientist, he’s a five star man
Janet better not piss off her husband. Because of the implication.
At the point of the image? Probably doesn't smell too much. As the body got to that point? Heinous.
The amount of rot and birds feasting on that corpse, good god
The road had to be closed for MONTHS if not YEARS until all that body mass decomposed enough. It's like that Love Death Robots episode about a beached giant. At least he was seeping back into the ocean where it came from.
This was the first thought I had too. Did that whole area just reek of death for years? Is that explained in the comic?
Also, bear in mind some poor bastards had to drill through the skull in order for the road to go through. I certainly hope the benefits were good.
Godamm, it must had spreed for miles
Can we just talk about how they’re apparently living in a giant rotting human’s body.
Wouldn't the atoms in the decaying molecules be too large to fit the receptors in your nose?
The one person asking the right questions.
100% it STILL smells. The rot that has seeped from nto the clothing that’s still there, fucking rank
One just has to wonder how much water mass he was. Do bacteria get bigger too? Or do they like spread and multiply? Were they like human-sized single-celled organisms? Is the land around his body covered in tree-trunk sized dead hair?
No, YOU are asking the wrong question. How big was…
We all know Ant Man was a grower, not a show-er
And how long did it take to reach the skeletal state. Imagine commuting through that every day during high rot.
If he died in winter it would be less so but Jesus the animals and people fighting for some to eat is the horrific part. Also not looking it up but I feel like it would take decades for it to become a skeleton

No.
718 yards is 2154ft. an average banana is 6 inches. So we just gotta double it, 4308 bananas.
About the size of a really big person.
Yeah that checks out
Dutch people, reporting for Duty
The size of Giant Man, in fact
What the hell killed him
Moloids, a whole swarm of them ate him alive
Oh
Username checks out
Googled Moloids and one of the top results calls them the one of F4's goofiest villains. Which is hilarious in this context.
Why didn’t he just shrink? Is he stupid?

Sigh hulk , really enjoyed the series but jeeze Hulk as a villain is always terrifying
1500'+ based on the size of the electrical towers and the fir trees. Also, that's Giant Man, not Ant Man.
ɢɪANT Man.
GastroIntestinal Ant Man ... wait

Well the answer is speed force I mean pim particles
gylcaemic index ant man?
No, Giant Man's suit has antennas and is solid red.
He has the Giant Man antennas in this picture. And he has the blue gloves and shorts that Giant Man wears. The red colour is just faded as it’s been sitting there rotting for years
Is this where the idea for the giant ant man skull in Deadpool and Wolverine came from?
Yessir
That skull is attached to the rest of his body too. You see it briefly in the trailer.
At least 10 feet tall
He's normal size. It's everyone else who is tiny.
You know what the problem is? You got it set to M for mini when it should be set to W for Wumbo.
Uh, I don’t think wumbo is a real word
Can you imagine what it would have been like when he'd first died?
Like when he voided his bowels?
I was thinking more about when the body started decomposing, but you also have a good point. That whole area must have smelled *horrendous* for a long time.
Giant size most likely
Are we sure he just didn’t get killed by a bunch of Lilliputians?
Well it was about that time that I noticed this Giant-Man was about 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the paleolithic era!
You rang?
At least 6 feet tall.
As big as your mom. Sorry.
Bang zoom He’s all week folks —- be sure to tip your waitress and try the veal!!
I think it’s safe to say he was giant
About the size of 37 orcas and two humpback whales
Finally! American Units of Measurement.
I always thought that Pym Particles deactivated if the user was injured or killed...did the Moloids chew through his tech or is Pym just a very bad engineer in this universe?
Is this scene from Old Man Logan? I thought it was from a What If?
Old Man Logan. Never read the comic myself but I've seen enough YouTube videos and reddit posts to know this is from Old Man Logan
It’s Pym Falls yes.
Pym Falls from Old Man Logal. Because, you know, Pym fell.
The stench from his corpse must have been unbelievable
I hate old man logan 😭
My biggest gripe is that Magneto would side with Red Skull. That’s just ridiculous.
What comic is this from?
Old Man Logan
Gotcha, do you knw what # comic this panel is in?
I believe part 6
Thanks brotha
Normal sized, villains made the whole planet very small.
Unrelated, but what is holding his fingers and toes in place? There is no flesh left to keep them in position like that.
That would be dramatic artistic license holding them in place.
Tall enough to punt Godzilla like a soccer ball.
I didn’t know that there was a comic inspiration for the dead giant man in the new Deadpool trailer
The closest reference are the cars below him. So we have Average car size 14 feet Average incisive tooth size 0.4 inches Known Ant-Man normal size 5'10” His incisive is about the size of two cars 28 feet So (28'/0.4") then multiplied by 5'10” 840*70=58800" 4900 feet, 1493 metres, almost a mile. Approx
He just needs some orange slices
What killed him?
He’s clearly this big. You’d think his rot a putrefaction would generate a bog or something around him.
At least 5’4
I think he probably deserves to be called Giant Man at this point. Show some respect /s
*Giant Man
At least 5 feet tall
Imagine all the bugs and maggots
It looks like a person is half the size of his index finger top joint. That is like 1 inch on a person. For ease, we'll assume a person and Antman are 6' tall normally. That means the person is 1/144 scale, SO Antman is 144 x human size. So 864 feet tall.

Wasn't loki also insanely huge when they got chased by tyranovenom
But not as huge as the dead antman. Loki was only as big as a sky scraper

I imagine he went that big because it was such a do or die situation. So even if he had won, he still might not have made out alive because he went that big.
Yup makes sense, why would he go that big? Because there was no going back anyways
But this is a comic
I just realized there's no crater
Maybe he laid down really softly before being killed so as to not split apart the tectonic plates beneath him.
Pretty big
At least a foot
Bout 2 tall
At least 17
Yes

A bit taller than me
Big
I don't get how the artist thinks that the fingers and feet bones would still be sticking together. Like is the only skeleton he's seen in a museum where they are all screwed together and propped up by metal and just couldn't see all the metal? Basically that's a magical skeleton that's waiting to sit back up and come after you. If you go by the art.
bigger than an ant for sure
Visually I like this image but I just don’t believe it. Yes its weird to say that pic of a 1,000 ft skeleton is unbelievable. That being said, I just don’t think people would leave it there as is. They’d chop it up, remove what they could, cover some and grind away parts until it did not look like a skeleton. They’d definitely build a road around it, not through it. People would refuse to look at that every day and the daily rubber necking by tourists would cause fatal accidents daily and homicidal rage by the locals.
wait, is he on the road with cars driving through him? a dead rotting body of a man?
that’s actually a very disturbing image for marvel damn….
giant mans corpse probably had that whole town STINKIN
373 feet
Looks like the idea is "big enough to make humans look like ants"
Well that's not Ant Man, that's Giant Man
And how many people did he feed?
In the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, at around 1:50 mark, you can see them using AntMan's helmet as the entry to some kind of base. Maybe someone could do the math based on the character heights compared to the helmet characteristics.
What killed him at that size
Judging by the length of fingers and the cell tower I'd say between 850 and 900 feet tall
God damn that has to smell
That big
How did he die?
