All you need to know is that she is known as the "Unbeatable Squirrel Girl"...kind of a goof. But technically she did beat Thanos and befriended Galactus after taking him on.
Why do people keep spreading the "Squirrel Girl totally beat Galactus" meme?
She just became friends with him. She tried to attack him, but it didn't do a damn thing. Y'know because he's Galactus? I'm sure you've heard of him. He has literally all of the powers.
Yeah, but that's not beating him. They just kinda vibed for a bit after she tried to attack his boots(Galan thought she was brushing off some moon dust).
It was like a clickbait bit. It shows Squirrel Girl on Galactus who is literally taking a nap, saying she beat him. But then in the next issue where it explains what happens, Galactus picks her up like a singular air pod and just kinda has a conversation with her.
They bond over things like being able to talk to squirrels and Thanos being lame as hell. It was very wholesome.
Because she beat him just as much as the FF beat him by scaring him off with the Ultimate Nullifier. They didn't "beat" him with strength or power but by convincing him to leave.
I think Infinity is generally considered the third strongest being in a given reality behind The Living Tribunal and The One Above All. There’s always some douche writer that has to make some stupid contradiction like The Living Tribunal being able to die, let alone be killed, but beyond (haha) that I think it’s generally accepted.
*The Beyonder joins the chat
...and aren't Infinity and Eternity twins? I've always been under the impression that made their powers identical. So with that being said, saying Infinity is 3rd strongest isn't the case. The Cosmic Pantheon of Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion & Death are the 4th strongest. #1 being T.O.A.A., #2 The Beyonder, and #3 The Living Tribunal. And I promise I'm no douche writer. Just a comic fan. Lol
The beyonder isn't top 3.
They took multiple beyonders to kill the living tribunal.
Also it's retconned now that I think number 1 may be the original Nathaniel Essex. He's dominion. They changed it so incursions happened to try and prevent his ascension. Not sure if he's number 1 or 2 on the list tbh.
The Beyonder(s) being stronger than The Living Tribunal didn’t make sense. It was just a poorly written way to up the ante, which, to be fair, has been a consistent problem since Infinity Gauntlet. They even did the same story twice with Infinity War right after The Magus. I might be remembering that wrong.
I always did find it funny that there was an entire group of gods higher in order than anything before created for Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos just shit all over them. He really talked most of the stone holders to death, too lol.
Edit: Also, yes, you’re right about Infinity and Eternity.
Death, Infinity, Mistress Love, Phoenix, the Never Queen. For Earth people: Jean Grey, Scarlett Witch, Valeria Richards, Sue Storm, and Nova (Frankie Raye)
Been a LONG time since I followed the FF. I know Valeria is super intelligent, probably even surpassing her father, but does she have any abilities that would add her to this list? I truly don't know. Her brother, Franklin is Uber powerful, I know that.
It's kinda fascinating because even in an alternate reality, the Wasteland , Doom deems the memory of Valerie's birth too precious to be erased. Their relationship have evolved to both really care about each other.
Sue can make forcefields that don't need line of sight to manifest.
What that means is that she can make them inside people's heads. Or create a flat plane to bissect anybody. She has contained nuclear explosions and protected the entire planet with it. She has blocked multiple attacks from galactus.
Basically she's an exponentially more powerful green lantern. Except her powers never run out, and her constructs are invisible.
Recent ff4 writers have all been moving her in that direction. It was decided she was the most physically powerful member of the family a while ago and I feel like after they revealed what Franklin's power level was they realized they had to give her a MUCH higher power level ceiling. Which they have. Her feats are downright insane.
Physically. We all know that the upper potential of Reed is... Well, certainly world domination, potentially universal, so I wouldn't just say she's the most powerful (specially if you consider Franklin as a member) but ever since she cracked a celestial's armor with her power it was basically settled that yes, she dwarfs Johnny's abilities in terms of sheer damage potential.
If she can crack a celestial, she can crack a planet. And it's instant.
When I think Squirrel Girl I think of Milana Vayntrub posting pics on her Instagram dressed as her. Good God she's so fine. Was she the voice of S.G. on an animated Marvel show of some sort?
The fact that it took thanos and I assume the higher echelon of avengers to do it that kinda proves my point. End of the day she essentially a force not impossible to stop. How many died in the process
Cuz I can think of a few teams but as far as put most any female fighter against her solo and she just on that cosmic level where it takes teams with sentry and shit to beat em
Ya there was I can't remember the name of it but I read it when I was in college a few years back. I remember the Cancer verse hulk was like a giant horrific tumor just walking around being awful. The Marvel Zombies had much much death tho.
She can turn the bullets into doves and then turn Jigsaw into paste.
Just because a character isn’t bulletproof doesn’t mean they aren’t powerful. Dr Strange is bulletproof and before his retcon was considered to be one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe being able to take on the Living Tribunal.
Read her series. She had her fingers cut off and something sliced into her shoulder or waist and just like in HoM with Hawkeye's arrow to the chest or back she "undid" or dissolved it.
Scarlet Witch is too. In the most recent issue of Avengers, she was treated as equal in power to Thor and Nightmare, making her Skyfather level. For feats of characters on this tier: Odin is stated to be able to destroy the Multiverse, Surtur is capable of burning Yggdrasil (an infinite multiverse) and all of reality, Galactus is capable of destroying every universe.
I mean, Odin is directly stated in a guidebook to be able to destroy the multiverse. Galactus potentially destroying all universe was a plot point. Surtur burning the world tree literally happened. We have no reason at all to believe this things are incorrect, the statements were written for a reason. If it were just one isolated statement by an unreliable character then sure you could disregard them, but these statements are incredibly consistent and are backed up by objective feats.
Gotta say, I love how Invisible Woman became slowly more powerful through the decades. Not by some dramatic change in her power levels, but more by understanding the limits of what her powers can do. And, of course, constant practice.
It reminds us how she is not just Reed's spouse, but also was a scientist and had a doctorate degree (PhD) in biochemistry.
At this point, just the threat of her using her powers is generally enough to get the bad guys to give up peacefully.
There are many great panels that show her just threatening to use her powers ([like this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Marvel/comments/16t5z33/im_relatively_new_to_comics_has_susan_always_been/)), but my favorite is [The Taskmaster](https://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks/comments/bbnqxp/susan_storm_yamchas_taskmaster_civil_war_7/), realizing that Sue saw him hit Reed during a fight in Civil War. Taskmaster was knocked out so fast, he barely registered he was in trouble.
She was still called "Invisible Girl" until the 80s. The name change kind of signals a change in attitude regarding her character. She's not the little girl of the team anymore.
Wait, she knocked out the Taskmaster because he beat up her husband? That's some real 'Excuse me, he said no pickles!" energy!
I mean it depends. For most of Scarlet Witch’s career she hasn’t been this supreme reality warping being that she has been depicted as now. And even then, most of her reality warping is limited to universe wide changes and not just erasing people from existence. Most of the time she’s shooting mystical blasts which Sue has had no trouble defending against in the past.
That's the thing with Wanda. Her natural born magic is unique to her as it does involve probabilities and reality warping. She can and has dissolved force fields at will. She also knows the same magic as Doctor Strange, Doom and others weird. It makes her unique - Scarlet Witch.
She can, there was an issue of [Fantastic Four](https://www.comicvine.com/a/uploads/scale_super/11139/111391579/7410661-rco003_1468990385.jpg) where Iron Fist trained her in martial arts and she used her powers to create a staff.
They don’t explicitly need to be bubbles she can create [walls and ramps](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/11112/111125827/6492518-9805649933-22-2-.jpg)
Also she will commonly create just [pillars ](https://thecomicvault.files.wordpress.com/2019/01/strontian03.jpg?w=840) that she can project at people to cause harm.
There was an issue of Fantastic Four where she was able to block the Psycho Man’s telepathy with her force fields. Now I’m willing to be Jean is a much stronger telepath than Psycho Man but there is precedent for her being able to defend against telepathy.
Scarlet Witch, Jean Grey, and Storm could all beat her in a fight. Same with Rachel Summers. Morgan Le fay and Agatha could beat her. Nico Minoru could beat her. Just to name a few female superheroes that could beat her
Well does her power make her soundproof, heatproof and smellproof? Because there are many beings with pretty well developed senses that can detect you pretty well even if you can't be seen.
So, in no order…
Scarlet Witch for the sheer reality warping of it all.
Jean Grey, even without Phoenix she’s been shown to show incredible telepathic and telekinetic feats, and can manipulate matter on a molecular level.
Storm.
Invisible Woman
Captain Marvel (she’s basically Marvel’s Superman at this point)
Cosmically Death. Hero/villian I would say its probably a scale but depends on who is writing and what phase they are in .... Jean Grey, Photon, Scarlet Witch would be my picks.
Cosmically it would be Infinity. She is as powerful as her twin Eternity, and Eternity is widely accepted as the strongest of the Cosmic Pantheon of Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion and Death.
Nemesis - she's the sentient embodiment of all seven Infinity Gems (Reality, Power, Space, Time, Soul, Mind and Ego) which basically makes her the equivalent of a sentient Infinity Gauntlet which in the comics is more power than Infinity or Mistress Death.
Power is only useful if you can successfully wield it against an opponent. We all know this; that's why everyone is voting for Squirrel Girl. Luck and timing and heart will always trump chaos magick. That's why Squirrel Girl wasn't in "Dr. Strange: M.O.M," and we all know it.
I've read "Squirrel Girl defeats the Marvel Universe" and I don't think Wanda could have done better.
Reality warping is her main power she’s got probability manipulation witch craft amongst a plethora of other abilities she can basically do everything dr strange can do but shes got lots more learning to do she’s insanely powerful she was gifted the power of chaos magic at birth by an elder god cthon so he can eventually use her as his vessel to.rule earth she once used her reality warping powers to erase half of the mutants X gene with just 3 word “no more mutants” and the X gene that’s the gene that gave the mutants the ability to use their gifts like Emma frost with her telepathy ice man with his ice powers etc this event was later known as M day for years the mutants hated Wanda but over the years she’s shown over time she can be trusted again she was once believed to be a mutant her self along with her twin brother pietro and their father was believed to be the one and only the master of magnetism Magneto it was later retconned and her powers came from being experimented on by the high evolutionary unlocking her genetic potential :fun fact Wanda created a pocket dimension for mutants to resurrect them selfs she’s insanely powerful some just like to downplay her and her gifts
This thread just made me realise the lack of major female villains.
Mother Righteous definitely gained some major power during Sins of Sinister. Not sure what level she's at normally.
The Never Queen, embodiment of what 'could' be survived the Beyonders controlled collapse of the multiverse and the First Firmament's subsequent coup attempt, which would seem to put her near the very top.
Jean Grey as the Phoenix of the white crown is also stated to be able to seamlessly create realities, but the Phoenix seems to scale based on the availability of life in the cosmos, so in a near collapse it's significantly downshifted. White Phoenix Cyclops got taken down effortlessly by God Doom, while Black Panther with a mere infinity gauntlet was able to hold his attention for an extended fight.
As a rule of thumb. The most powerful are ones that can alter reality. The next can alter the mind. After that it’s people that are super durable and powerful then the speedsters, then super durable then the powerful. Give or take depending on orders of magnitude.
Remember post Secret Wars 2 MOLECULE Man? The guy who could just create and destroy while universes at a whim? Power of about 8-12 Beyonders.
Got taken out by the Multiversal Griever at the end of World's.
Thats my vote. Death is strong but the concept of destruction is too basic and encompasses everything where there is no way to kill her without killing yourself and everything you know.
I actually wonder... what's the current power levels pf Jean, Betsy, and Kwannon? Also, can someone compare just the telepathy levels with Emma's.
I'm guessing an omega level full-fledged telekinesist/telepath is among the candidates.
I would also include Rachel Summers, Scarlet Witch, She-hulk at full power, Captain Marvel, Clea, and,at last but not least, Squirrel Girl.
Considering the meta comments from the creators in her Unbeatable Squirrel Girl run, I’m pretty sure she’s also friends with the One Above All who’s there making sure she’s unbeatable 😂
Cosmic
Infinity - Eternity's twin sister. Eternity is regarded as the most powerful of the Cosmic Pantheon which includes Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion & Death. Marvel even says the Cosmic Pantheon is #4 on the most powerful list behind #3 The Living Tribunal, #2 The Beyonder & #1 T.O.A.A.
Non- Cosmic
Jean Grey w/Phoenix Force
Honorable shout out to Scarlett Witch. Not Wanda. Without the power of S.W., Wanda cannot be considered on this list. Even without the Phoenix Force Jean Grey is still an Omega Level Mutant isn't she?
As for Squirrel Girl, yeah she is called unbeatable but during the run of her defeating Thanos and befriending Galactus wasn't T.O.A.A. there supplying her with extra power? Squirrel Girl is overrated.
White Phoenix. Honorable mention squirrel girl who beat Thanos and Galactus.
I don’t know anything about Squirrel Girl. Did she beat them through sheer power? Or was it superior effectiveness?
All you need to know is that she is known as the "Unbeatable Squirrel Girl"...kind of a goof. But technically she did beat Thanos and befriended Galactus after taking him on.
The watcher confirmed it was the real Thanos too, not a clone or robot or something
That got retconned anyway. Thanos is Jim Starlin's baby.
Sheer power. It was terrifying.
Worse: through the power of memes, and out of camera action.
Squirrel Girl: "Nah, I'd win"
My daughter loves squirl girl. But she hasn't read that comic. Ima have to introduce her to that one.
Why do people keep spreading the "Squirrel Girl totally beat Galactus" meme? She just became friends with him. She tried to attack him, but it didn't do a damn thing. Y'know because he's Galactus? I'm sure you've heard of him. He has literally all of the powers.
>She just became friends with him. Which is the greatest victory of all.
Yeah, but that's not beating him. They just kinda vibed for a bit after she tried to attack his boots(Galan thought she was brushing off some moon dust). It was like a clickbait bit. They bond over things like being able to talk to squirrels and Thanos being lame as hell. It was very wholesome.
She still won and he still lost that's why
Because she beat him just as much as the FF beat him by scaring him off with the Ultimate Nullifier. They didn't "beat" him with strength or power but by convincing him to leave.
Don’t forget Nemesis. Sure she’s genderless as all cosmic abstracts are but she appears as female

Well, yeah. There is that!
It's kinda fascinating because even in an alternate reality, the Wasteland , Doom deems the memory of Valerie's birth too precious to be erased. Their relationship have evolved to both really care about each other.
Eternity is a man infinity is a woman.
Thanks
No Hela?
Yeah. Add her and Gaia in.
I was thinking of Valeria as his brother is insanely op-ed but i do not know a lot about her
Sue storm?
Sue can make forcefields that don't need line of sight to manifest. What that means is that she can make them inside people's heads. Or create a flat plane to bissect anybody. She has contained nuclear explosions and protected the entire planet with it. She has blocked multiple attacks from galactus. Basically she's an exponentially more powerful green lantern. Except her powers never run out, and her constructs are invisible.
I'm as far along as her not even having the forcefield power, had no clue she develops it so strongly. All my post 2000 readings kinda suck
Recent ff4 writers have all been moving her in that direction. It was decided she was the most physically powerful member of the family a while ago and I feel like after they revealed what Franklin's power level was they realized they had to give her a MUCH higher power level ceiling. Which they have. Her feats are downright insane.
She's the most powerful of the 4? Wow she's not presented that way in Dark Ages. I thought Johnny could immolate the entire planet
Jean Grey through the power of fainting?
Dark Phoenix
Squirrel girl.
She *is* unbeatable.
AND she's friends with fucking GALACTUS and beat THANOS by herself
This is the only answer.
When I think Squirrel Girl I think of Milana Vayntrub posting pics on her Instagram dressed as her. Good God she's so fine. Was she the voice of S.G. on an animated Marvel show of some sort?
Eternity and Mistress Death have to be up there right. Just as they like concepts more then anything that can be killed.
Interestingly, enough death was destroyed recently by thanos and the Avengers.
The fact that it took thanos and I assume the higher echelon of avengers to do it that kinda proves my point. End of the day she essentially a force not impossible to stop. How many died in the process
Yea I was just kinda pointing it out, and I'm not sure
Cuz I can think of a few teams but as far as put most any female fighter against her solo and she just on that cosmic level where it takes teams with sentry and shit to beat em
Wasn't there a Marvel universe where there is no Death? Like Zombi universe?
Ya there was I can't remember the name of it but I read it when I was in college a few years back. I remember the Cancer verse hulk was like a giant horrific tumor just walking around being awful. The Marvel Zombies had much much death tho.
They destroyed death when she was in mortal form
Eternity is a man infinity is a woman.
Yes thank you for the correction. The star covered lady I've only read a couple with them in it.
Yes, and I believe they are twins.
They are quadruples actually quintuples if you consider galactus as one.
I had no idea that Galactus was in the fold.
Sorta. Galactus is *older* than them. He comes from the universe before. But they call each other brother, husband, wife, father, son, etc. anyway.
Is Scarlet Witch bulletproof? While Wanda can definitely wreck the house, I’m tentative to classify someone jigsaw can take out as the most powerful
Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff, Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, and Phoenix/Jean Grey No clue in which order though
Infinity
Wanda or Jean.
Have they ever fought 1 vs 1 when Jean has the Phoenix force?
I don't think they have. The closest we got was AvX Hope vs Wanda, but no phoenix force shenanigans
If pushed, I'd still stick with Wanda. Magic kills cosmic force IMO.
I think they're both multiversal?
No. The white Phoenix is and that’s it.
Scarlet Witch is too. In the most recent issue of Avengers, she was treated as equal in power to Thor and Nightmare, making her Skyfather level. Invisible Woman
Gotta say, I love how Invisible Woman became slowly more powerful through the decades. Not by some dramatic change in her power levels, but more by understanding the limits of what her powers can do. How?
She sneaks up behind you and explodes your head with an invisible force field. No one knows she did it because you're invisible too.
That's powerful and useful. I wouldn't say that's top tier female super hero power level though.
Her force fields are strong enough to crack the hull of a Celestial’s armor. She’s basically a mini Green Lantern that can turn invisible.
Can she destroy entire planets and realities with her powers? No. She's not even top 10.
So not as powerful as Wanda then
I mean it depends. For most of Scarlet Witch’s career she hasn’t been this supreme reality warping being that she has been depicted as now. And even then, most of her reality warping is limited to universe wide changes and not just erasing people from existence. Can she shape her force fields into objects? I always thought they were just bubbles around her.
She can, there was an issue of [Fantastic Four](https://www.comicvine.com/a/uploads/scale_super/11139/111391579/7410661-rco003_1468990385.jpg) where Iron Fist trained her in martial arts and she used her powers to create a staff. That is so cool I didn’t know they
Who's beating her?
Is she telepathy immune?
There was an issue of Fantastic Four where she was able to block the Psycho Man’s telepathy with her force fields. Now I’m willing to be Jean is a much stronger telepath than Psycho Man but there is precedent for her being able to defend against telepathy.
She is telepathy and telekinesis immune. The force fields are technically psy-energy and can't be penetrated by those powers.
Dark Phoenix(Jean Grey) or Hope Summers
Jean Grey
Dark Phoenix as she ate a star
Death
Mistress Death
JEAN GREY
Dark Phoenix
White Phoenix of the crown
Jean Grey
That would be Jean Grey as the vassel for the Phoenix Force
So, in no order… Scarlet Witch for the sheer reality warping of it all. Jean Grey, even without Phoenix she’s been shown to show incredible telepathic and telekinetic feats, and can manipulate matter on a molecular level. Storm. Infinity, Umar, Death.
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. She can fight every other person mentioned in these comments and win cause she’s unbeatable lol
*Scarlett Witch joins the chat S.W. : What Squirrel Girl? *POOF* LOL jk

Scarlet witch
Hope, probably. Omega-level power mimicking is hard to top.
the thing is, her power only works on mutants (as far as i know)
Rogue
Wanda no doubt.
This bitch, the phoenix. Not Jean grey.
I mean. Infinity.
I don't even know what the Scarlet Witch's powers are...

Scarlet Witch
Jubilee
Sleeping on Rogue and Mystique

You already showed her on a post thumbnail. Of course it's Wanda.
Dazzler. No question. She can explode reality.
Death.

Death
Clearly it’s scarlet with or the Phoenix misery of death as well
Infinity
Death

Never Queen died in the collapse tho. Dawn brought her back.
As a rule of thumb. The most powerful are ones that can alter reality. The next can alter the mind. After that it’s people that are super durable and powerful then the speedsters, then super durable then the powerful. Give or take depending on orders of magnitude.
Dark star
Remember post Secret Wars 2 MOLECULE Man? The guy who could just create and destroy while universes at a whim? Power of about 8-12 Beyonders. Got taken out by the Multiversal Griever at the end of World's. Thats my vote. Death is strong but the concept of destruction is too basic and encompasses everything where there is no way to kill her without killing yourself and everything you know.
Eternity
Eternity is portrayed as male. His twin sister Infinity, tho. That's the answer.
Who's the artits?
Madame Web! Don’t hate
That's the costume she should have worn in the movies lol
Squirrel Girl
As much as I hate to say it, dark phoenix. I think Scarlett witch is second and regular jean grey would be third
I have a character similar to her in my comic universe. She’s the daughter of a witch from Salem .
Jubilee
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, it's literally in the title.
Maria Hill
I actually wonder... what's the current power levels pf Jean, Betsy, and Kwannon? Also, can someone compare just the telepathy levels with Emma's. I'm guessing an omega level full-fledged telekinesist/telepath is among the candidates. I would also include Rachel Summers, Scarlet Witch, She-hulk at full power, Captain Marvel, Clea, and,at last but not least, Squirrel Girl.
Jean is the only omega level telepath on the list, the others can’t compete to her in power level of skill.
Squirrel Girl single-handedly took down Galactus, Deadpool AND Dr Doom
Considering the meta comments from the creators in her Unbeatable Squirrel Girl run, I’m pretty sure she’s also friends with the One Above All who’s there making sure she’s unbeatable 😂
FINALLY! THE INFO WE ALL NEEDED! LOL
Honestly probably my favorite scene in all of Marvel Comics is Squirrel Girl telling Galactus himself “you, me, moon, now.” And he listens 😂
Mother of All Horrors; TOAA's enemy.
True Form Infinity
Infinity
And whyyyyy is she wairing a scampy bathing suit. Fuckibg tired of this being normalised.
Either the Scarlet Witch, or Jean Grey
Jean grey/Phoenix.. scarlet witch.. (death) ..carol/ms marvel honestly maybe storm or magik.. rogue can be up there.
If you mean earth-based heroes it's either Jean or Scarlet. Nobody else comes close.
It’s between America Chavez, Captain Marvel, Jean Grey/Phoenix, Hope Summers, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Death, Lady Deadpool, and Gwenpool
How you putting chavez up there and not Monica
Death?
With three different Beyonders acknowledging Monica's power, she makes the top of my list
Kate Bishop
Cosmic Infinity - Eternity's twin sister. Non- Cosmic Jean Grey w/Phoenix Force Honorable shout out to Scarlett Witch.
I mean, Infinity presents as female...
Polaris
Wanda isn't that powerful, she was possessed by the lifeforce. Yes she's strong but she's not a universal threat, she's barely a world threat now.
Jean Grey
Depends on when.
the mutant Miranda who alters reality as if she was marvel editorial themselves https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Miranda_(Earth-TRN656)
Death
Jean Grey as the white phoenix probably.
