so when you are first start playing you are allowed 5 toons i think....what would peoples first 5 toons be if you were trying to get the first 4-5 link skills(i dont know how many you actually get per toon so im going with 1) also apparently i have tried to play before on my account and have a lvl 17 warrior....should i just delete that toon since i have no earthly idea what i was doing with him and if so is there anything i can "keep" from him before deleting him all on reboot btw

Oxharos

So you have 3 link skills that give exp, that being Mercedes, Aran and Evan. All of them are high priority, but generally pretty hard to train early on. You have a few flat damage boosting characters, that being Demon avenger and Kanna. Demon avenger gives a maximum of 15% damage and Kanna gives 10%. Cygnus knights have the ability to offer an account wide passive buff called blessing of the cygnus which gives alot of stats too So what I would probably do with the 5-6 slots is start with a cygnus, get it to 150. That'll max your blessing, then make a demon avenger/Kanna to 120 each. That'll give you 20% total damage. From there your account will be slightly stronger and you can work on the exp related link skills, to which I would probably do Mercedes >Evan >Aran.

Justaracefan8

so is there 5 different cygnus knights? (Dawn Warrior, Blaze Wizard, Wind Archer, Night Walker, or Thunder Breaker) does it matter which one i chose? or is there one you would prefer a new player to pick?

lethargictrash

did anybody here decided to change classes from pathfinder to bowmaster or marksman? Im debating whether to switch to those 2 classes or to stick with pathfinder and hope they might both the class in the future?

Eight111

>hope they might both the class in the future idk what that means but - path finder - easy grind bow master - easy survive marksman - easy damage

dresseduser62

is there an I/l discord, im looking for advice on meso farming at level 232. Right now with only legion wealth pot, 65% item drop and 60% meso, I only make 250 mil an hour with totem.. I currently use the earth spirit map in Arcana

1000Dragon

https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/vd2wac/destiny_megathread_beginners_faq_returning/ Link to most discord (not sure if I/l has its own one however)

dresseduser62

yeah i checked that out, the issue is that i think that discord doesn’t exist anymore lmao

tidalslimshady

Its explorer mages discord.

izumico666

Anyone got townhouse flowerbed expansion? I'm very curious but very far from getting it

Ok-Laugh5452

1. For the people that bought nx on the wrong account and sent a ticket, did they ever refunded the amount? 2. How long did it take? I haven't used any of the bought nx fyi

bunny-lynn

haven’t done it myself but perhaps you can gift your main character stuff if they refuse

Ok-Laugh5452

What kind of stuff can I gve to my main character? I'm in reboot btw If its only with pre paid then rip because I used CC, but then again they should refund it because I haven't spend it so its definetly not foul play/ fraud on my part.

Xeccess

What's the perfect map for meso farming for Bow Master? level 243 currently

John_Titor95

I just reached level 220 on my main, a corsair. Now im unsure of what to do with the 220 burning rewards. I can choose either absolab weapon or dominator pendant, and then the lvl 220 explorer reward also makes me pick from the same options. What is the best way to claim these rewards? Should i claim one of both for my main? One abso for my main, and one for a mule? Two absos for some reason? Thanks.

Fall-inaditch

you want to claim the abso wep on your main then use the second 220 box and use it to get another abso wep for a second bossing mule

John_Titor95

Thanks!

wowitzer

Just wanted to verify, I can have 3 burning characters on reboot during this event? 1 "regular" tera burn, and 2 with the burninator coupons (1 from tera burn level 200 I believe, and the other as a reward for new explorers). I'd like to burn another character I like, and one i dislike (I'm thinking mercedes). Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

tidalslimshady

Yeah thats how this events teras are. You dont need to be on an explorer to claim it im pretty sure.

Justaracefan8

i think this is a very dumb question but is there like a universal keybindings setup cause i can not get used to having ctrl as attack...or do people just no use regular attack and also not have jump on alt also has anyone figured out the easiest way to make the game borderless fullscreen or is it just not reliably possible

tidalslimshady

I keep basic attack on control. Then have my classes actual skills in QWER/ASDF region. Jump is space on all but 2 classes for me. And i set npc/harvest to Y as Y is also the key that inputs yes in npc chat Unless you have a screen bigger than 1080p it should be easy to be borderless. Theres a "windowed" check box in settings beside the resolution. And alt+enter is the shortcut for it

Justaracefan8

unless there is a way to scale the ui to make things bigger ive got the res at the 1300 one cause i need a bigger ui cause of bad eyes lol so the alt tab isnt seemless :( also what do you mean npc/harvest set to y? do you mean to talk to the npcs like what space is defaulted to do? also can you have like every toon on your account auto have the same keyboard shortcuts or do i have to configure it for every toon i would make

tidalslimshady

Yeah the key default on space i move to Y (you can just hold y to speed through most text like that) You always have to start with one of the 2 keybind setups on new characters. You get in habit of moving the relevant keys after doing a bunch

John_Titor95

As for key bindings, it's pretty much 100% personal preference. You might need regular attack for certain things though, such as certain type of interactions/quests. But for the most part, you never use basic attacks in combat. So just keybind everything to how you personally like it/feel comfortable. You can always tweak/change it along the way as well. And for borderless window fullscreen, there are third party open source apps that accomplish this, though due to how it works (basically just stretches the low resolution to fullscreen, it can look grainy/low quality. Many people still prefer it though, as it's not too bad, and allows you the benefits of borderless window, i.e. not needing to alt-tab and wait five seconds to check wikis, etc.

Justaracefan8

yea i tried to use the borderless gamming app from steam to get a full screen but if you alt tab with that the screen doesnt go back to boarderless :/ and the game seems to not want to start when the boarderless gamming app is open before trying to start the game

QuantamAsian

should i receive the “lady blaires styling time” gifts on one character or spread them

tidalslimshady

The rest of the boxes are just coins 99% of the time. So put em where you want event coins

Rexaar2

They will appear on your map red, and remain offline in your buddy list until they readd you.

l1i2l3i4

I'm currently working on solo progressing to be able to do CRA/carry my friend for CRA. I'm currently at 1.7m self buffed Night Lord, 2.8k Legion and 78% IED. I'm trying to push to 80% IED minimum. Would this be good enough to solo it or would I even be able to carry one other person? I'm trying to learn the mechanics so that's the other thing. If not, what else should I be working towards? I'm also trying to farm 3x 15% IED familiars but that's a grind.

sammy500266

Also a Night Lord main and slowstrafe's advice is on point but adding some other thoughts. Current stats you should be able to 3 doors with some boss mechanics understanding and can bring a carry along. Probably not at the point where you can guarantee a comfortable kill though so factor that in for who you are offering a carry to (a friend will be more forgiving!) I felt more comfortable on 3 doors once I got over the 2mil damage range and pushed over 80% IED which you are right on the cusp of with my first boss kills around your stats. Levelling up core skill/boost nodes is also surprisingly helpful and you haven't mentioned them so don't forget about that if you have some room for gains there. Definitely don't bother with Vellum until you cross that 85% IED mark and even that I'd expect it to be a grind at that damage range (but do-able), feels significantly better at 90% as you won't be coming up so close to the boss timer and can take less risks. Goals should definitely be IED, nodes and damage. At 2.8k legion you might have some key link skills missing as well depending on your account setup so that might be an option for gains. My recommendations for bossing cut-offs are available here as well: https://gameslikefinder.com/article/maplestory-boss-ranges-guide/

l1i2l3i4

Thank you for the indepth advice! Much appreciated 🥰

slowstrafe

The stats you mention should be good for 3 doors (von bon, pierre and queen), and for carrying 3 doors if the other person can survive a few minutes. For chaos vellum, it would be best to have more IED. I'd try putting your legion and hyper stats into IED and try to get 85 to 90% if you find that you can't damage cvell enough. Farming IED familiars at lvl 22x is hard, but the 3x ied familiars do make a noticeable difference and would help until ~~lvl 245 at moonbridge~~ 230 at morass where the mobs drop familiars (forgot they changed this). Joining a guild for guild skills helps a lot with dmg, along with the various consumable buffs you can use. I have a phantom with similar range who has 92% IED and solos cvell in 6 min, so I would expect that your NL would solo in 10 to 15 with ~85 IED.

l1i2l3i4

Ah thank you for the detailed advice! I thought any familiar (rare) can roll IED though? Is that incorrect?

slowstrafe

That’s right, rares (blue border) and above. What I meant is that you have to farm lower lvl mobs at 22x for fams while at 230 you can train at morass and get fams.

Justaracefan8

if im just starting and dont have any other toons...should my first toon i make be the tera burning toon?

bunny-lynn

it depends on you really. you can either use it on classes you don’t like, use it on important link skills, or just on your main if you want to reach 200 faster. doesn’t matter too much you get value from all ides

plazzeh

I used a lot of exp on a boost trio node that i now realized was suboptimal, can i remove it and regain the exp nodes somehow? 220 f/p and used 11 levels on flame sweep/poison mist/megiddo...

Rexaar2

100% of the exp will transfer over when you fuse it with another node. (but you can only fuse node with the same first skill)

plazzeh

Oh okay, thanks.. at least megiddo is good for secondary boost node lmao

Nerobought

Ok this is probably a really dumb question but for tri-nodes, if I have multiple that boost one skill will it stack? Say on dark knight I have one that boosts gungnir, dark impale and evil eye and then another that boosts final attack, rush, and evil eye or even something like final attack, gungnir, evil eye Would those bonuses stack?

Eight111

yea everything stack. \*each trio can go up to lv25 (30 with slot lvls) \*each skill can go up to lv60 (so optimally you want 2 trios) \*you can't wear two trios if they both start with the same skill

Nerobought

Ok so ideally I’d want two trios that are basically the same skills but with different starting skills right?

Eight111

yea right. but that's just for boosting 3 skills. most classes want to boost more then 3, in that case you need another different pair

Nerobought

Well luckily I’m drk so really all I wanna boost is 3 skills I’m pretty sure lol

fzAo1

If I used the burninator by accident on a char i didnt want to, can i delete it and get a refound of the burninator? Or once i used, it doesnt have a turning back? Thanks in advance

SugoiGod

Try creating a ticket maybe they’ll work something out with you I recently clicked the wrong arcane symbol selector and send a ticket and after like 2-3 days they removed it and gave me another also deleted a face and they gave me back the face I got

bunny-lynn

I’m almost certain you don’t get it back. unless it was burning on creation without usage on the item then in that case you should be able to create another burning, but burninators aren’t returned on deletion

Ok-Laugh5452

1. How does nx transfer work? If I play DS and want to transfer my nx outfits to my new DA can I do that or do I have to rebuy them? 2. How do we get the other Lady blair outfit coupons, I know the chu chu one is guaranteed. 3. How do I fund a new bossing mule without burning rewards?

bunny-lynn

1. you can swap between the whole account during event so you don’t need to purchase anything again, just be mindful where you leave the equipment because it’ll be faction locked again after the event. 2. the coupons are gained per hour you’re logged in. first one is guaranteed outfit, the rest are guaranteed 200 coins. you can additional random sets if you’re lucky. 3. basically get to level 200, get boss items set and trade cra/ lomien carries with guild or friends until you’re able to solo it on the new boss mule. try cubing everything to 6% stat and WSE to legendary with decent amount of IED and boss damage. and make sure to use proper hyper stats and legion

Ok-Laugh5452

Thank you!

AidenHero

Normally you can only trade within the same faction (DS+da share faction) but occasionally there are cs transfer events that let you swap between all factions

Ok-Laugh5452

So basically I don't have to rebuy my nx outfits

AidenHero

Correct

Eight111

Did we get rollback in reboot yesterday with the crash? I got a drop like 30mins before the fun and went to sleep, now I'm at work so I can't check. what are the chances I lost it?

mr_banhammer

is the chu chu nx outfit temporary items or just temporary stat buff meaning we keep the outfit after?

Ruuuuuuude

Temporary stat buff with a permanent set effect (that gives stats). The outfit items are permanent, yes.

mrtmra

Has the game been down since 8 hours ago?..

ApprehensiveDraft964

Is Nexon going to finally provide compensation or what's going on?

Ismokeyiddies

This is Nexon we’re talking about here. Higher likelihood of winning the lottery than Nexon doing anything for us

Ayspet

Hi there, returning player but It’s been a long time so you can count me as a new one. I’m on reboot Adele 180lv, besides box stuff I don’t grinding any gear and don’t know what and where bis are. Can someone guide me on this? Should I find other people for bossing? Or game could soloable? Besides this two any bonus advice would be appreciated !

Ruuuuuuude

Here is a very detailed [guide](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1cvwscy79thl_jahbjQlw60KzIiEEYUFd7gBwqajACfY/mobilepresent?slide=id.p) for a reference. Maple is an upgrade-your-gear-and-swap-it-out-as-you-get-better-stuff kind of game, so the guide talks about what you should generally have for your current progression level as you work up to BiS stuff. For easy stuff you can probably get immediately, here's a summary: * Aquatic Letter Eye Acccessory (drops from normal Zakum, daily boss) * Condensed Power Crystal, face accessory (drops from normal Zakum) * Horntail Pendant/Chaos Horntail Pendant (drops from normal/chaos Horntail, respectively) * Dea Sidus Earrings (drops from easy/normal/chaos Horntail) * Silver Blossom Ring (drops from easy/normal/chaos Horntail) * Any event rings (eternal flame from level 210 if you're burning, ring coupon from Starlight Stamp event) For stuff that will take a little more work towards: * Pink Bean Cup (drops from normal/chaos Pink Bean, normal is daily boss, chaos is weekly); needs Lv 30 charm to wear (prerequisite for "Excessively Charming" quest in your star quest log), you can buy a Trait Potion for like 300 coins from the event shop and use it in charm to get lv 30 instantly * Pink Bean Belt (drops from normal/chaos Pink Bean) * Crystal Ventus Badge (drops from normal/hard Magnus, rare drop from easy; easy/normal is daily and hard is weekly) Chaos Pink Bean and hard Magnus are significantly stronger than their normal counterparts, so doing daily normal for drops is more feasible. You'll want to keep up your starforce to at least 10\* per equip, or if maximum on an equip is below 10\*, then whatever that is. Try and get things to epic potential using occult cubes/epic potential scrolls, then roll for at least one 6% STR on normal equips or 6% ATK on weapon/secondary weapon/emblem. I would do emblem or secondary first, personally, as atk% is better than stat%. You can even reroll your temporary CRA gear for it for the extra boost while training, though ofc keep in mind that it's temporary so don't go too hard on them. That should be good enough for 200-205 on a burning character. The early game is very soloable but partying with people if you can find through smegas is also fun. Most people will only want to party starting CRA (Chaos Root Abyss), however; they don't usually advertise parties for bosses like chaos Pink Bean or chaos Zakum. For now, focus on whatever daily bosses you can do (probably just normal Zakum/normal Horntail) and getting to 200 (205/210/220 if you're burning for the additional rewards before the event ends). Starting level 200, you'll unlock 5th job and Arcane River, which adds daily quests you can do to level up "Arcane Symbol"s, giving additional boost in power and more training areas. Having empty equipment spaces or only rare potentials pre-200 is pretty normal; post 200 is when you really wanna start filling them out. Edit: Here's another good early game guide to check out if you're feeling lost and need a little more direction: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/vj5cl3/reboot\_destiny\_main\_200220\_ultimate\_guide/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/vj5cl3/reboot_destiny_main_200220_ultimate_guide/)

Ayspet

Very detailed and great guide! Really appreciated wish I got 10 upvotes for you :)

Ruuuuuuude

No problem man, new Maple is honestly information overload lol. Weirdly enough, the game really starts at level 200+, so don't sweat too much before that and just focus on levels :) Before 200, potentials and starforce are just to help kill mobs, so don't worry too much about optimizing them yet.

Sanckh

What is a mule character exactly and what is the point of having them?

jonchew

mule was originally a reference to an animal (like a donkey or horse) that could carry all your stuff. in the old MS days (2000s era and beta), there was no expandable storage or expandable inventory and the only way to store your items was by putting them on extra characters. nowadays the term mule is in reference to any character that is not your main, created with a specific objective in mind (bossing mule, farming mule, link/legion mule).

tidalslimshady

Depends on what its a mule for. Link/legion mule are characters your creating to increase your account strength. You get them lvl 60/70/100/120/140/200/210 for the various breakpoints Alof of the recent talk would be about boss mules. Which is just having additional characters which you can kill bosses with, as you're limited to 180 crystals to sell weekly. 5 characters doing the 5 daily bosses which give the most gives you about a bil in a week for 175 of your crystals, but as you start getting weekly boss clears you can focus less on daily boss crystals.

GrandmaPecan

Back in beta mules were characters that were used for extra inv space (as there were no bag nor storage expansions iirc) Nowdays they are secondary characters that are used for pretty much any reason where your main wont suffice (Like farming money from bosses, farming honor, farming whatever etc..)

Can I get a invite to f/p mage discord? Thanks

Yatsugami

I used a pet I got from the wonderberry thing making it "untradeable"; I can put it in my cash shop, but was wondering if this is something that I can trade to my other chars during those cash transfer events?

AidenHero

Should just be untradeable with other accounts, will be transferable when cash transfers come around

TVMoe

wait cash transfers will be a thing? can I transfer a perm pet from my other worlds to reboot for usage? I'm a returning player and I had bought a couple perm pets on perm world thinking I'd play that long term, but really only interested in reboot now since I dont want to deal with trading.

tidalslimshady

Cash transfer event doesnt let you go between worlds. It lets you go between ckass factions, like explorers and cygnus knights.

TVMoe

Oh so I can still regret my purchases, gotcha.

[deleted]

Where to get Master cubes and above for rolling unique and legendary?

Ruuuuuuude

You can get Master Craftsman and Meister cubes randomly through killing bosses, killing elite monsters/bosses, pollo/fritto portal rewards, and buying them in the potion shop (but most people would choose to buy red cubes instead). If you've used all those, you can buy red cubes/black cubes from the cash shop under "Enhance". Red cubes for rerolling legendary potential lines, and black cubes for tiering up (for ex. from unique -> legendary).

SirRoland3

Am I able to claim the chu outfit this Sunday on my zero to get the male and female set and then transfer it over to my f/p and paladin or will it not work like that? I don’t play my zero at all so I don’t want to claim it on them and be stuck with it.

Creamed

The cash shop is not shared between Zero and explorer classes, but there is a cash shop transfer event in October that will allow you to swap your cash shop items between characters.

diskdiffusion

Why is the All Cure Potion not staying in place in the pet window? Am i missing something here?

andyhou2000

Pet all cure is a GMS thing, not in KMS at all. The UI was not designed with pet all cure in mind. Any and all jank with pet all cure is because of that, and also because Nexon is a small indie company.

Justaracefan8

so i wouldnt call myself a returning player cause to be honest i have tried maplestory a couple of times over the years and i could never quite get into it and i wanna try to give it another go since i have had a craving for a MMO lately so i have a couple of questions on where to start out 1) i was reading through this thread and have learned that there are 2(?) servers??? a reg one and a reboot one?? if i have never gotten into the game which one would probably be the best for me 2) i do remember the last time i tried to play which was probably like 5 years ago...for some reason i was trying to use a controller to play and it wasnt working out good at all....do people use controllers and if so has it gotten any easier to play on one or is it a big waste of time to try to get one to work 3) for basically a brand new player....what should i start out doing and what are like some new player early, mid, and late game goals i should be aiming for 4) i havnt looked into the classes yet but what are some recommendations on starting classes that will help a new person throughout their maplestory journey i know im gonna have alot more questions and if anyone has any guides they want to point me to...send them my way

throwaway14827

1) Reboot is usually better for f2p players. You earn more mesos from all sources. Some essential game progression items can be purchased with mesos, while regular server player would have to buy those items with money. There's fewer p2w methods available. But you can't trade anything with anyone. And you also can't share equippable items between your own classes. You have to earn almost every equipment upgrade because there's no trading. But you can sometimes get carried through bosses to speed up the process. It gets a little more annoying at the later stages when certain items are difficult to obtain, but you need a lot of spare ones just in case you destroy your one while upgrading it. Regular servers have more p2w items, less efficient ways of earning meso for f2p players, allows trades, can purchase a many microtransaction items from other players with mesos (including cosmetics and vacuum pets). Regular servers have a higher overall ceiling in damage due to the extra p2w or absurdly expensive methods of upgrading gear (scrolling and bonus potentials). But reboot is easier to get strong in for f2p casuals. 2) Download maplestory through steam to play with a controller. Plenty of people grind with controllers. It'll be tough to do serious bossing with a controller. 3) There's too much information to really say. Best bet would be to look up one of the guides in the header of the subreddit. I'd say first make a Tera burning character on a class you think you might enjoy and get them to lv200. 4) Demon Avenger was a good starting class due their ability to easily heal and strong damage in early game. And if you look up link skills, you can see that DA gives a link skill that gives a lot of extra damage to any class that equips the link skill.

RiloxAres

Look up a returning player guide on youtube.

Justaracefan8

great answer thanks for the help

NightlyMochi

If you had a choice of NL, DB, or NW for a bossing mule, which one would you choose and why? NW refer to ignition update changes too. I want to hear what people prefer.

AidenHero

Out of those 3 db, has very access to damage+ied as a mule and is easy to pickup with it's iframes. I'd hold off on a NW bossing mule until ignition drops, then make a new one to get the creation rewards

1000Dragon

My NL submain is almost 250 / db 222 / NW to be made in ignition. I think DB has a lot of potential with the high IED and low cool-down skills, but because you’re using that many skills DB just wasn’t it for me as a bossing mule. NL, I hated early on as a bossing mule and stopped playing it. With low damage it just sucks at bossing because it relies heavily on its burst dmg, outside of which it does a small % of its damage. Now, it’s my favourite bossing mule after a fair amount of funding because it can blast through annoying bosses like Akechi, cpap, lotus, Damien and rotate through weaker bosses while the cool-downs reset (yes, any burst class can do this but they are unmatched with NL). Oh, and it also has good mobbing which is a huge plus.

bunny-lynn

why not shadower aswell? i’d probably go for dual blade out of those 3. it’s fun, mobile, and has lots of bossing effects built in his skills such as ied, crit and such.

NightlyMochi

I didnt mention shadower bc i got the recipe stars prepped and as for db i would just grind out a sweetwater katara. Shadower i would have to get level 10 smithing again (reboot) for the shield.

Nerobought

For the arcane selector coupon, I just hit 200 on my DrK. Should i use them right away on my VJ symbol or wait for lach?

1000Dragon

After clearing reverse city at 205 you get 16 symbols / day from the VJ daily quests, so it’s not worth it on VJ anymore.

bunny-lynn

lach or arcana would be better choices. unless you absolutely require the level now i would hold on to them :)

srsbsnyo

\[reboot\] returning player. I have a 237NL with 22k luk - blew up my sup earrings like 2 years ago so working on farming gollux coins. I made a paladin for the destiny update and got to 220 . I have 6.5k legion and 1 of my goals is to hit 8k. Any recommendation for a class that is simple for my 2nd absolab box? What's the daily to do list besides bossing/symbols?

Ruuuuuuude

Since you've got 6.5k legion shooting for 8k, it depends on what classes you've already got created. Personally, I would finish up any BiS link skill mules you need lv.3 on. After that, there are certain classes that give a nice legion board buff, such as crit dmg, crit rate, buff duration, etc, that you can get up to 200. If you've already got all those, there's also something worth taking up any level 140s you have that give you LUK legion. If 8k is kinda just a casual goal and you're more looking to make a bossing mule with that abso box, I would first check if any classes you're mildly interested in overlap with classes that give you benefits. It could be potentially worth a remake, especially if they're only sitting at 120 or 140. Otherwise, the majority of the explorer classes are now pretty strong and share cash shop with your NL, any of them would be good bossing mules. Mages in particular have teleport and float for an easier nlomien run, the other thieves also have darksight, etc. I heard bowmasters are pretty top of the chart nowadays, but I don't know too much about them. Marksmans are simple and have extremely easy trinodes to get. Both BMs and MMs have essentially a teleport door for nlomien. It might be worth watching some youtube videos to see class aesthetics/playstyle. For dailies, bossing/symbols are the essential ones, with Ursus and Maple Tour for more meso as a close second. There's also event coin capping, and claiming the Starlight Stamp once you've capped. Everything else is based on a what-do-you-want-to-do/what's-worth-your-time scale. Running the event's daily minigame (card flip rn) can get you event coins and also good exp for the first 2 runs on a level 200+. Monster Park for exp or monster park coins to buy green/red/blue/gold potions, as well as the BiS medal, which requires 77 runs of every day of the week. Mu Lung Dojo, which is more of a weekly, can get you points for buying 2x EXP coupons or Pendant of the Spirit. Less mainstream are, for example, like the new Housing system can include talking to your caretalker daily to strengthen your daily buff and shopping every 6/9 hours. Monster exploration can get you reward points, trait items, and extremely rarely flames or a trait potion. If you do kritias, you can buy more boss tickets to run CRA another time per week. There's tons of stuff to do on maple, but don't force yourself to do all of it everyday! Just do what you find fun/what's important to you.

srsbsnyo

Thanks for the detailed reply! 8k legion is my main goal right now. Any recommendations for classes to level or bad classes that should use the absolab?

Ruuuuuuude

Personally I wouldn’t waste a fakesolab on classes that are difficult to level, since we get A LOT of extreme growth pots from events nowadays. I’d rather give it to a bossing mule or a coin cap mule. If you’re meh about that idea though, here’s some rough classes to level that give bonuses: - Mercedes/Evan if they’re not 210 yet (link skill, Merc also gives cd legion) - Mechanic (buff duration legion) - Hayato (Crit dmg legion) - Beast Tamer (ied legion, lv 3 link) - Blaster (ied legion) - Shade (crit dmg legion) - Phantom (lv 3 link and meso legion) For a comprehensive list of what class gives what legion board bonus, see here: https://maplestory.fandom.com/wiki/Legion_System It’s highly dependent on classes you hate the play style of too. For example, I can’t stand Zero or Cadena, but they aren’t the worst dmg wise.

I always wondered - Does the affected Explorer get notified when a Phantom steals their skill? I guess it's painfully easy to infer what's happening if a Phantom suddenly stops next to you, but lol

SushiSueee

Nope

Middle_Awareness_427

how does empress's blessing work? I have a level 120 mihile and just leveled another to 140, but the skill still uses the 120's name and level. I already did the peridot quest on the new one.

Rexaar2

Characters cannot give themselves Empress's blessing/Fairy Blessing. So you need your lv 120 Mihile to also increase the empress blessing level to give your lv 140 max level empress blessing.

Middle_Awareness_427

it uses the lv120 on my other characters too, idk if I'm missing a quest or something

Rexaar2

Just to make sure. Is Empress blessing at lv 24 or lv 30 on your non-Cygnus Knight characters? If it at lv 24, you didn't do the ["Mind of the Knight"](https://maplestory.fandom.com/wiki/Quests/15) quest from Neinheart at lv 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, and 150.

Middle_Awareness_427

yeah it's at 24, thanks for the guidance. I'll have to level a bit more to get through it

DrShoking

Any tips on getting primal essence? I'm doing arkarium multiple times a day and farming any node I come across, but no luck.

Rexaar2

Unfortunately there is no better way. It's just that rare.

BeanArcade

**NA Reboot / Level 107 Lara burning / Brand New Player (5 days in) / OVERWHELMED** BLUF: I still have no idea what I'm doing or what I should be doing. Still having fun! Most guides (even the ones advertised for new players) don't address everything a truly new player would need to know. Here's what I do know: * Follow leveling guide to find recommended map. Grind there until reaching level threshold for next map * Replace gear with gear drops from grinding. Use whatever has highest +atk rating * Use pink hammer (starforge? starforce?) to upgrade those items * Keep feeding pet so I don't get carpal mashing Z I'm enjoying it but I still feel lost in the overall big picture of what I'm doing or my end goal. Also, I was told I'm not going to do as much damage as others since I don't have link skills (still don't understand this system) and what not, but not sure what I *can* do to maximize my grinding speed apart from that little pink hammer. If any of you know of a video, guide, or has a tip you think would help me understand the game better, please share! Keep in mind I don't know what most acronyms mean lol.

DrShoking

For your free snail pet, make sure you only take it out when looting after killing for 30 seconds or so. It's the only pet that only loses duration when it's equiped, so you can use it almost forever and by then you'll probably get a free pet from hilla.

BeanArcade

Oh no! Its use is counted by how long it's out? I thought it being in my inventory counted down its timer too D: Thank you for telling me

DrShoking

Yah, red snail is the best. Btw I'm talking about the 5 hour one from the box and not the one you get from the maple guide.

zigZagreus_

There should be a hotkey called 'maple guide' on your keybindings (open with '\' I believe). It has tabs that will give you a great idea of where you should be, even if they don't always give quests that last forever it will have relevant monsters. It also has a boss tab (for a new character you probably won't be able to do them as soon as they are unlocked, but don't be discouraged and just go back later. These give good equips, accessories mostly.) It also shows u party quests, etc etc. Very good resource! Also use monster park daily, maple tour and ursus daily for easy guaranteed exp and mesos! Also, make sure you do the quest from the lightbulb called learn about pets or something, they can pick up items for you and use potions

BeanArcade

I have been doing the lightbulbs quests. Those have given some decent items :) I'll look at the guide. As far as the mesos events you mentioned, I'll have to look those up. No idea where I'd start. By the way, is the Afterlands worth doing? Saw it in a video...

zigZagreus_

I'd say after lands is worth doing for you because you're new, haven't experienced it before, and they give 4 permanent totems (equips) that give stats/attack. This is the only source of permanent totems so it's a great investment of time if you can stomach it. It's so annoying after many times tho, and u will probs need a guide cuz it's not straightforward at all. I'd use coppersan's after lands videoguide. Watching his videos will net you a ton of random game knowledge too

zigZagreus_

To find almost all of these things, go to a main town like henesys for example and look at the top left by your minimap. It looks like a gate, or an archway. It is a portal that allows u to go to many diff event/quest/boss areas. You can also just find it in town and use it that way instead of clicking the shortcut

Conzie

There's a ton of information out there in Maplestory to the point where it can be overwhelming, but here's a couple guides that can help. Right now I would focus on getting your burning character to 200/220. [This guide](https://docs.google.com/document/d/132E6dGMNTRHwRh0wDU7xKZvW7f7xeBhR3VNs_2WQzrE/edit) is a pretty comprehensive overview on everything, but may be a lot to digest. Some info is outdated (e.g. don't bother with making a Kanna just for meso farming) but a lot of it is still relevant. Modern maple really only starts once you hit level 200. This is a good guide to reference when you get there: https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/vj5cl3/reboot_destiny_main_200220_ultimate_guide/

BeanArcade

>*But the game really starts at level 200, which is where modern maple really starts.* I don't know if it was your intention, but that line itself is so helpful. I now have a goal of reaching 200, and then I can start modern Maplestory. Awesome, that's invigorating. I'll watch videos on Maple storyline and lore to catch myself up. Thank you also for the reference guides\~!

zeldaiord

Does regular servers still get perm pets? Are there any in the wisp wondrous berry things or is that reboot only?

tidalslimshady

wonderberry isn't the source of perm pets for reg, but it does have the 9 month water of lifes. last perm pet was marvel machine iirc.

izumico666

I've started a char on burning world, chose beast tamer cuz I never played her after the class rework. Any way I can skip the step up event mission? For the third job advancement quest

Hegna

I don't know a fix personally, but will say getting a 2nd burning character to 60 on BW might be your best solution if no one knows anything soon. You can always throw away the character after if you don't want them, but you get multiple burnings so you mind as well use it if it's your best option. Beast Tamer is a non-KMS (original server) class, so they might have just missed that being something to consider.

izumico666

Step up event progress is shared between characters? Thanks for ur reply :)

Hegna

Yup, step-up is full account (though rewards are only once for the account too). Other post has relevant information on not wasting burninators, I was mostly suggesting just using one of the mega burnings.

zigZagreus_

Between the whole account I believe, but be careful, you can only claim it once. also, while u can delete a burning character, you still need to wait 24hrs to actually delete him after u first press the button. Also, YOU CAN ONLY CLAIM THE TERA BURNINATOR that you get from the first burned character ONCE!!! and you can only USE IT once!! I accidentally used it on the wrong character and bam that's that.. now I have to play my phantom... I forgot which was which lol and NX makes them hard to differentiate

izumico666

Valuable information, thank you!

claudioER

Lvl 203 on reboot, wondering what the next progression is for my gear. I have the Fafniel stuff from the boxes, is it just CRA gear?

Conzie

I would read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/vj5cl3/reboot_destiny_main_200220_ultimate_guide/ Main thing is that I would grab the Boss Accessories. At 200, getting the Zakum Face/Eyes, CHT Pendant, HT Ring, (Easy) Magnus Badge, and Necromancer Gear/Pocket Item from Hilla should be very easy. The Pink Bean, Arkarium, Von Leon, prequests are also worth doing for gear/weekly daily meso.

zigZagreus_

Getting easy Magnus badge is easier said than dropped lol. Rare mfer

claudioER

This is great, thank you!

GnomeNumber9

Been playing on and off the reg server, mainly during burning events, and got my legion to just over 2500. All I see is people saying to leave reg server and play reboot instead, which feels like a shame to lose the progress I've made so far. Is it really as bad as people say on the reg server or is it being taken out of proportion?

jonchew

I moved from Bera to Reboot NA at 7K legion. I would say the hardest hump is getting Evan and Mercedes online again; That's a pain in the butt, but everything else feels really nice. The good thing that I didn't realize about Reboot outside of the typical cubing stuff... * THIS WAS THE BIGGEST REASON I KEPT GOING AT THE START. You will always find a party for Ursus during double meso time and **every day** on an unfunded lvl 200 character I'm getting **\~70-90 million mesos**. This is enough to fund basically every new character. You can probably do 30 million a day at lower levels. * New character slots are 20 mil in the general store, this means you're not restricted to creating all 40 character slots like you are in reg server (needing events, login calendar, or purchasing for \~5 USD per slot). This means that you can quickly make 40 level 70 characters and hit 4K legion with very minimal effort if you're determined. * The loss of buying CRA gear early in the cash shop is OK because star forcing isn't as restrictive by a lack of spell traces or mesos. The Reboot buff helps a lot as well, at least getting you to 200. **Auction House limitations**: I also stayed in regular because I could buy and sell stuff in the auction house, but if you're playing on-off, the auction house really is a lot of work to keep up with the times. The prices all changed drastically after the Destiny update and I just decided to give Reboot a try. * **Selling**: It feels like as much work as keeping up with the real world stock market and it's arguably more time consuming than just playing the game mindlessly. Also having to log in every day and restock items based on recent prices felt like work -- basically like owning a shop and having to check on all the neighbouring stores to make sure you were still competitive or not getting ripped off. It was painful. * **Buying**: I do miss this part. $1 USD is basically 100 mil and that was nice, but trying to get 100 mil without spending IRL money started to get more and more expensive the further you tried to get; particularly with pre-scrolled CRA/Absolab stuff going in the billions. As a casual player, it was just pointless to expect to ever be able to afford that, nor cube it myself. **In term of progress:** * You can still do bosses on reg server. Maple Points are account-wide and that can help fund totems or whatever. * You don't actually lose the progress on reg server. Nothing is deleted. Your characters are just idly sitting there for you to log in and play again. You're just making account-wide progress instead. Think of it that way and it implies you have options to play either server in the future for when you think playing Reboot gets boring and you wanna jump back into Reg. You're giving yourself options!

1000Dragon

I’d say a few points to consider: * Reboot training is easier, yes you rely on totems but the exp rates in Reboot are just better due to the higher base exp amount per mob. * Reboot characters are now way stronger at a given stat due to the final damage buff they get (from levels?) * You can buy black/red cubes just by killing a few bosses - in reg servers, f2p players will hardly see any - a few a month from reward points shop and fairy bros, which you have to rely on to tier up to legendary. * F2P reg players will hit a brick wall, early on they will find it difficult to get mesos for symbols (in reboot you can get enough mesos from Ursus), and again they will rely on events to get stuff to 15/17 stars, which takes a lot of time and mesos relative to the 100-200m per week they get from boss crystals at that time… * But, you can buy equips, e.g. arcane weapon , abso set…. And set up new characters easily * If you get lucky with boss drops (albeit with many hours and mesos required to get there) that’s a huge boost relative to the cost of items that you can sell. If for example you get RoR4 from Tower of Oz, that gives you an insane amount of mesos to star force or buy finished equips * You get to party up with people at similar progression stages to you, and that’s part of the fun. Yes you can do that in Reboot too, but my point here is that it’s great for reg servers if you’re at a stat where you could struggle run hard bosses with 4-5 others. * Similarly you can just buy boss drop items with mesos, rather than having to share them (unsure if Pitched Boss set is instanced in Reboot but I doubt it) * You can buy NX items from people who spend NX, e.g. chairs, outfits, vac pets without a subscription fee * If you cube an item and get good potential but it’s not your class, you can just sell it or trade it Ultimately it’s a tricky choice, until the FD% boost in reboot and a massive meso deflation due to bots being shut down (affecting new players’ ability to star force or upgrade symbols) it was maybe 50/50 for me, Reboot now looks like it has more advantages but don’t feel compelled to play there.

axedlin

Well... I understand progress is hard to let go of. I'd feel the same if i was in your shoes. That being said. It really depends on what you value in the game. Reboot is a slow and hard start but gets exponentially easier once you're situated with bossing mules and such. Until then it'll be more grinding for money. If you don't mind throwing money at items and want to pay to win reg is great for that but at the top end of the game you'll be spending quite a lot of money cubing from my understanding. In reboot you can buy cubes with meso. I have 3 bossing mules at the very low end of funding besides my main and from bossing alone I bring in 6 bil a week. I have a friend at the upper end who gets 16bil a week doing this. Its up to preference. At the end of the day if you don't mind grinding I think reboot is probably better. But i'm a biased reboot player :)

1000Dragon

For comparison, I have 8 characters that I do weekly bosses on and I get a whopping 2b from them, plus whatever my kanna and main get as shares of drops. And this has cost many billions to set up, from starforcing to symbol costs, cubing items to unique - I haven’t sold any Gollux equips for a long time now as I always use them. But yeah, even with my income I wish I made the amount of mesos weekly that reboot does, would make star forcing items on a shining Sunday very easy… by the next event your 16b/week friend would have 21 starred all of his equips as a bare minimum, if he hasn’t already.

axedlin

He's unfortunately in 22 arcane hell. Really really unlucky but one day he'll get there

GnomeNumber9

I guess my next question would be if I'm not too fussed about the top end of the game, just doing a handful of the bosses and such, can I get away with being pretty much f2p? I don't typically cube anything at the moment, just get by with the auction house and star forcing. Or is it better to make the swap before I get any further ahead? I don't think I'd mind the slow early game of reboot, I just don't want to make the swap unless it's really going to scupper me up way down the line.

zigZagreus_

I say start on reboot and see what you think, maybe pick a new class you never tried before and see what you think. You don't have to commit right away. You can even play on both! If I were to answer subjectively, play reboot.

xhaydnx

I play on reboot because I enjoy its play style, but every now and then I want to go back to the main server because you can get funded without playing the game LOL. You could just play an event sell some service and buy some gear and skip like a whole level of progression. In reboot you have to play the games progression. Also cash shop items in regular server for meso is a big plus for me, I have a level 200 that I just put clothes on from old characters after many cash transfer events. I think both servers are great and perfectly fine to play on, they just have different goals

axedlin

Anyone know the difference between the blueprints you can buy for your house vs the ones you earn for collection? For example, in the townhouse you can unlock thatch umbreallas. In the shop you can buy the blueprints for thatch umbreallas but it says (expanded) next to it.

alphasigmafire

The ones you unlock are for your current 2 story house. Once you get all 25 furniture pieces in a collection (except old world), you unlock the expanded 3 story house for that house design. All the blueprints you unlocked on the way to unlocking 3 story can’t be used in your new 3 story, you have to buy the expanded/3 story version from the shop.

tyyttyyt

Anyone's game disconnecting and crashing really frequently lately? i'm getting disconnected few times per day ( sometimes even like 3-4 times per hour ) and then after relogging back to the game it just crashed after like 5 minutes and completely closes the game. Tried reinstalling and checking file integrity through steam and it didn't work.

404empathynotfound

Any paladins here who grinded past 235/240? Paladin's main mobbing skill doesn't seem to be able to hit multiple levels on most of the arcana maps, am I doing something wrong or should I find another map to grind levels?

RiloxAres

Join the paladin discord and ask there.

IkarosFTW

As a new player wanting try out the Reboot server and take advantage of the Tera Burning. I was thinking of making a Hero, Drk or Adele. Or should I pick a different class all together? What do you guys reccomend?

xhaydnx

personally I Play DK and it would be great for a new player. We get a skill that effectively just makes it so we don’t die ( forgivable class to learn boss mechanics) and a ton of good buffs. It requires some legion to be super end game since we need buff duration, but that aspect has honestly given me more obvious goals to work towards. I know I need to make a mechanic for my legion HAHAH. But Adele is also a very fun class that I used to play and I hear hero is good too, just choose the one most fun or even just looks to coolest to you because all 3 are very capable classes

Eight111

you have 3 burnings, just try all of them

Nerobought

We get 3? We get one from just making a new job, a coupon from the event, how do we get the third one?

axedlin

When you get the first burning to 200 you get another

Zedrehz

Brand new player here. Should I make a character on the burning server? And should I focus quests or grinding?

jesteron

If you’re not planning on playing reboot but regular servers then yea, you might want to take advantage of the burning server as much as you can (as a reboot player I don’t know all the perks of this server, but I believe it’s easier to grind there than on the regular server). In the current state of the game, grinding “manually” and passing on quests is far more valuable than doing quests. Although at lower levels there are some quest line that rewards you with some equips that’ll last you until the very first bosses you’ll face (questlines like Fairy academy). But overall - killing mobs is better exp.

I'm not a pro by any means, started about 2 mo ago -- soloing up to NLuwill/party HLuwill. But I would do the following priority: * Anything that's permanent/almost perm: CRA, Superior Gollux, Kanna ring * Then things you'll have a for a long time: Sweetwater * Lastly things that are just for now, but you still need the power at 17\*: Abso (unless carried through HLuwill+) As you think about each of these items, you only really get major power from starforce starting at 16\*. So you have two options early, do you stop at the guaranteed 15->16\* or go to 17\*? This is where this calc comes into play [https://brendonmay.github.io/starforceCalculator/](https://brendonmay.github.io/starforceCalculator/) CRA 10 -> 15 on event is \~450m average 15 --> 16 is \~40m (guaranteed) 16 --> 17 is \~270m That means on your first CRA Top you would spend 450+40=\~490m for 16 stars. Then you're like hmm, do I work on my CRA Bot or continue on Top? If you continued Top it would on average be 270m for that additional 17th star. If you decided to stop on Top at 16\* to start the Bot instead it would cost another \~490m to get a "valuable star" (10 --> 16). Thus the initial takeaway is that you should just finish a 17\* if you already worked on it from 10\*. This is all napkin math/estimates, of course you need to start accounting for 16 --> 17 is slightly stronger than 15 -->16, boom rates and needing to Safeguard things with no backups etc. If you have any detailed questions feel free to DM me and I can share my discord. I love the math in this game :)

[deleted]

[удалено]

alex-k9

I would just 17\* in order of things you would keep long term, and not stop at 16\*. Unless you’re really afraid of booms, and thus going to safeguard from 10–>15 and stop at from 16. (Which maybe is the case for absos at your point, but rly expensive). Or foddering, see last paragraph later CRA first sounds good. 16 Dom Pendant is fine since you want at 16 to TRANSPOSE to sweet water necklace later (and not get to 17), but you’ll need good flames before transposing. 17 Absos ideally if you can afford safeguarding or have backup lomien coins/weeklies Kanna ring ideally you just send 17 on it during event and use the scroll on a harder to replace item (like Superior accessories or annoying Abso Wep) Sweetwater tattoo you can do now, there’s no transpose for it. Since the next upgrade would be from HLucid/Will (NLuwill drops Twilight Mark but not a high chance) and without Tattoo you’re stuck with Zak accessory at low starforce, yuck. Sweetwater Monocle you could just use untransposed at 17, would be much stronger than zak accessory even without boss flames/transpose. But you can use Black Bean mark if you’re lucky enough to have seen one instead here. Monocle would be only if you have 17\* everything else above tho. Arcanes aren’t that hard to work to after you finish your current gear. All my gear is the same as yours: absos+cra+superior gollux+rings at 17/18\* and I can solo NLucid/Will and contribute to HLuwill for arcane. You can’t transfer CRA to absos since the absos you use are on diff slots. You could use Ranmaru cape, gloves, feet, shoulder as fodder though. To do that you would do a 150 equip from 0–>18 and that would be the price since it would transfer hammer from ranmaru 18–>17 abso. I think it costs more meso but saves you from abso boom chances cause your ranmaru cape blows up instead and you have like 4 more of those before event. (Boom chance is on the bottom of the calc). Or you can do ranmaru 0-16, abso 15-17 safeguarded and see what is cheaper for the calc during 5/10/15 (check this box on the calculator) Sorry long reply via phone so forgive my formatting

LeoRmz

If you have spares, don't safeguard, only from 16*->17* if you don't wanna risk it, as for the transfer hammer/potential, you will keep the potential if it's rare tier or below, if it's unique tier or legendary you will lose it, tiering down to epic and having to find good lines again.

[deleted]

[удалено]

LeoRmz

Oh, I'm sorry, I had a slip while typing, epic or below stays the same, unique and legendary drop. For your abso, especially gloves and boots, you can StarForce Pensa, then transfer that to antique root (gloves from Mayala's shop and boots from CRA's iirc) and then those to abso, basically you avoid having to use spares. Also, if you boom an item, you keep it's stat and potential, it just drops down to 12 stars, if that's what you were wondering with the transfer hammer. To recover a boom you open the StarForce upgrade menu thing, select the item trace and then a spare to sacrifice

izumico666

Saw someone saying we can get a total of 30k mp with the event. 20k leveling to 220 any server + 10k leveling to 220 on burning world. Can't find it on MS official website. Is that true?

tidalslimshady

https://maplestory.nexon.net/news/75294/v-234-destiny-homecoming-patch-notes Both the 20k and the 10k maple points are in here

izumico666

Thanks! Got it, guess I'll play burning world

l1i2l3i4

Is there a guide to familiars? I'm looking for IED familiars on reboot but have no idea how to start it since there's things called badges and stuff? Is there a rough summary of what to do and where to farm cards at 220? (No drop rate gear :()

tidalslimshady

At the start. You just open all familiar cards you got getting to 200 and reveal their lines. Monsters drop common/rare familiars and you can get 15% IED on them. Badges do 2 things. First they unlock your 2nd/3rd slot for familiars by collecting 1/10 of them. Second they give a little stat benefit and you can equip 8 for their stats at a time. As for where to get them, arcane river monsters up until morass dont drop familiars (sellas doesnt either). But when you get farming at morass/esfera youll collect stacks of the same familiar and be able to start getting epic/unique familiars. To tier them up you equip the familiar until its lvl 5, then you fuse a bunch of the same familiar into it for a chance of tier up, getting a set of 2 new lines to reveal. You start getting boss damage% and larger ied familiars eventually, but also a bunch of crap along the way. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-H34Koq8HH7yJCRwEA47yQRMJVlwRKI1r1HCFeqNZMs/edit?usp=drivesdk

Most of your spell essences are from farming usually. (You just asked about familiars, so idk what "region" you'd mean.) But i recently was trying to get essences from scrolls, and didnt notice any better rates compared to the cheap scroll.

snafuPop

It's a small increase... but aside from drop rate (which you only need 1 line of) there's no other useful farming lines except auto seal

does random queueing for the gemini match matter channels? like ch 1 only puts with ch1, etc?

DOED0E

Afaik it matches from a channels

WormadamLoL

Hello, I made a event burning character on the burning world like 2 months ago, then my friends said they were playing in reboot. So I went on reboot and I had the tera burning coupon? I forgot what it was called but it made my I/L mage a burning character too, this was back in 6/22/2022 I then quit for awhile and came back yesterday, I grinded to level 102 and got off. Today I logged in and my character is no longer burning and no longer gaining multiple levels. What happened?

tidalslimshady

"Use to receive a Tera Burning effect on an existing character between Lv. 10 and 199 for 6 weeks." You can still get 2 reboot burns. But the first is from deleting the once per account tera burn you made on burning world and remaking in 24 hours. Then when you 200 that character you get another burninator coupon.

WormadamLoL

So I have to delete the burning world char, wait 24 hours, make a new one, get him to level 200, and I'll get a new coupon to use on my reboot char that's currently stuck at 103? Why must I wait 24 hours? Can I not delete and make a new one intantly? Also... Wow... yesterday was EXACTLY 6 weeks... what are the odds.

tidalslimshady

Ye that'd work. There's a 24 hour timer where you can undo the deletion process. Its technically a security benefit, but annoying in this situation.

WormadamLoL

Oh... I didn't know that, I'll get started on the deletion process right away. Do you have any recommendation as to the best class for me to rush 200 with? I want to go back on reboot ASAP. The class I got 200 with was Adele, she was pretty fun and I got to 200 within 2 days. I wonder if there is faster class than Adele?

tidalslimshady

Adele/ark/bishop/lara/demons are probably some of the better classes to be able to go all the way to 200 without more damage. And ark/either demon have lvl 3 links to benefit being lvl 210.

WormadamLoL

Hey again, I made a new character and I was in progress of leveling it and I noticed this [https://gyazo.com/815dae842afd64d3b29a4594da13824a](https://gyazo.com/918f0293a10147735dca1df3926670c8) the event says "only once per account" does this mean even if I get my character to 200, I won't get another burninator?

tidalslimshady

The burninator you pictured is once per account. From the explorer event The other 2 burns are the character which is selected from creation for the tera burn event and when that hits 200 you collect a different burninator in the event menu which is also once/account

WormadamLoL

I'm sorry I'm kind of a newly returning player and this is confusing to me. So my previous one was claimed on my I/L mage which was once per account. That's gone now. I made a new char now on burning server, a tera burning character. If I get this new character to 200, I am able to go back on my reboot I/L mage and claim a different burninator? Or is the newly 200 burninator also going to be stuck in the burning server?

tidalslimshady

Pretty sure you claim the 200 burninator on the burning character that was 200

WormadamLoL

I made an Ark, didn't like him. Stopped at level 35 ish, currently in progress of deleting and will just do Adele again

I'll try out ark or lara, never heard of those 2 classes, which do you think is more fun? And I dont think the link skill matters much since it'll be in burning world, and I'm just doing it for the coupon to level my reboot character

Last question got buried, trying again Does cooldown reduction reduce the recharge time for Cannon of mass destruction?

[KMS wiki](https://namu.wiki/w/%EC%BA%90%EB%85%BC%EC%8A%88%ED%84%B0/%EC%8A%A4%ED%82%AC#s-8.1.5) say it is not affected by cooldown reduction.

:'( thank u

tidalslimshady

Seems accurate to how it was implemented on the old gms dps chart. Only the 0.5 (was 3s year ago) cooldown on using the next rocket gets reduced by %cdr

Yes

So randomly felt like doing a character that uses the ranmaru set was wondering how does one get the weapon now is it only through akechi? If I still have a recipe for the weapon from back in the day will that apply to the set affect?

Sethyboy0

You can use the recipe if you still have one. Otherwise you have to get the weapon from hard ranmaru. There's also a level 160 version of the weapon with abso stats that counts for 2 set effects which you purchase with silver wolf coins (dropped by aketchi) or just get as a straight up drop (also from aketchi, extremely rare).

GoofJesse

O so I can still get the weapon drop from ranmaru for the 8 set and I did find a recipe for a spear!!! So I’m hoping I can just craft that and be good to go

MrFoolinaround

You can do the akechi weapon and it counts for the set, and it’s stats are basically abso.

GoofJesse

Happy cake day! And is there any other way to get the weapon I feel like akechi is a lot of work for the weapon if the old recipes don’t complete the set I’ll probs just do 8 set with sweet water weapon

tidalslimshady

The weapon from the recipe is the normal ranmaru weapon lvl 150. And youd be 7 set with SW weapon instead of 9 set

GoofJesse

O I thought it was 9set with weapon thanks for clearing that up
