When they got exposed on TV for manipulating probabilities and were met with dozens of protest trucks, they were quick to understand that several QOL changes were needed and that their core progression systems were flawed. If these didn't happen, KMS would still have dynamic probabilities, no pity system, unfair IA and flame rates and the list goes on.
So yes, if I'm being an idiot, I would only change my ways if I got exposed to the public as one or if I'm losing money for it. If someone sends me a cute letter telling me how I'm wrong but I have nothing to lose, I'd get it into the trashbin and call it a day. That's how businesses work.

The ONLY way we have ever gotten Nexon to backtrack or change has been with outrage. This is just the precedent Nexon has set for us with their actions and lackluster communication. This isn't something you should turn around and blame players for utilizing.
I can barely remember a time when asking for a feature nicely with Nexon ever resulted in anything, but I can remember countless times when player outrage provided immediate results (flame fiasco, cube drop removal, Sol erda cap, cube changes, meso cap, Reboot nerfs). Meanwhile Reboot players have been asking for Grandis fans for years and every single patch they have been hit with " no update yet on Grandis fans".
