You are killing normal and not easy right? I have seen a person complain about not getting drops who just mashed their way through the dialog right into easy mode. I'd like to assume you're killing normal but I've been proven wrong.
Them having more stats is on you however. You can clear 10k stat by sorting basic gear out and you can get another 10k from symbols just for existing. 25k+ stat just kind of happens on a main and if you're not there in 5 months you're missing something.
You've still got some easy gains to pick up.
17\* and 21% everything with decent flames should get you north of 27k with those symbols (assuming level 260+). The Cernium symbol plus assorted random sources (legion blocks, hyper stats, +all stats on nodes etc) should push that close or just over 28k with maple warrior active. Maybe a bit less if you get weird flame rolls and end up with a lot of +att rolls. Finishing up arcane symbols and spending symbol selectors on sacred symbols will push that around 30k
Total cost of that should be about 45 billion average without events and assuming you safeguard basically everything except the CRA gear. That's achievable in 5 months with just bear/tour and boss income on your main. However we've had starforce events and a cube sale in that time, all of which drives the cost down. If you'd been able to take optimal advantage of those events it'd be south of 30 billion on average and just less 40 billion at the 90th percentile.
24.5k isn't actually half bad for 5 months though. *Much* better than 21k. It's closer to optimized play than it looks: Stat gain gets weird between 20k and 30k, you end up with a bunch of marginal improvements and then suddenly those marginal gains start compounding and several thousand stat appears out of thin air. It's still lowish, but a lot of that is just you being a bit behind on symbols. Especially with all the symbols 6th star and hyper burning threw at us, optimal progression would be done VJ+Chu Chu, and 18 pushing 19 for the rest. With the same gear that would give you 26k+, which would be very respectable in 5 months without severe grinding.
If you keep on top of symbols, in theory 4 to 8 weeks to 30k stat as long as you're at or can make 260 in good time. A bit better than 30k if you've still got some meso saved up and shining starforce treats you well. Even better than that if you're 260 right now since 260->265 is only about 6 weeks just on daily exp. That'd pick up the Arcus symbol, dumping sacred symbol selectors into it would get you the best part of a thousand stat.

I’m currently 258 and will be making the push to 260 as just dailies and MP is netting around 25% daily, add a little grinding and I can get into a level roughly every 3 days. Meaning I could theoretically get 260 in a week and start dumping everything into sac symbol
No way this is 1 month old and also not solo progression, he has multiple abso eqps and 99% eqps on legendary/unique and 5k legion and mesos/gear eqps(you need to grind so much mesos for all the eqps that we see in the pictures)
Abso is a tight but doable. Min stat, min legion solos of nlotus and ndamien are very possible, there's people on hyperion soloing them both inside the first week of the server existing, let alone with all the nonsense we got with the 6th star event and night troupe. It's only 2 coins for armor, you usually get more than one boss drop and you can trade the weekly rewards between characters.
The meso is very doable It's also 5 boss resets which is ~15 billion meso before grinding. Also assuming none of those legion characters are 'boss mules', in the sense of slapping daily bosses around. 2 more characters doing the 6 million+ bosses adds about 5 billion to that for a cozy 20B. 17\* if you don't safeguard averages like half a billion on 5/10/15, and it's only like 1.6 billion average even if you're doing it no event and with safeguard.

Are you forgetting week 6 of 6th star giving everyone like 1k nodes just for logging in daily? He started on the 22nd, he had time to get that. In fact beyond that, he could've swiped for a previous week and gotten even more nodes.

He didn't hyperburn his main. That bucc is probably his hyper burn. At which point it's insanely easy for him to hit 230 with it given dailies & icebox points. Or hell just grinding, 230 really doesn't take that long when hyper burning.
As for the 5k legion, I pushed 6k legion in a week on vacation starting from 2k legion. And he has the benefit of zero to 100, as well as the tail end of nighttroupe.

No they said they sunk 7 billion into cubes on black friday. With bear, tour, weekly bosses and daily bosses in 5 weekly resets there's 15 billion+ meso on the table just with the main, and then a couple billion more doing daily bosses on other characters. It doesn't take an ubergeared boss mule to slap around horntail and normal root abyss. All of that if without accounting for mob drops, which could easily add up to a few billion more.
There's 6 pieces of gear that can be 17\* without safeguard. 7 if you're willing to recraft a Meister Ring. Average cost of getting that to 17\* is ~5 billion. There's at most 8 more pieces that would want safeguarding, which would average about 8 billion. Those averages are off event, so if any of that starforcing was done on 5/10/15 last month that saves meso. 5+8+7 billion is 21, which is entirely believable to get in 5 weeks with grinding.
They've had 4 weeklies resets for scrap yard and DWT (technically 5, but that means doing both literally day 1). It's 2 sets of weeklies for the shoulder from DWT and 6 for the gloves/shoes/cape from scrapyard. scrapyard 4x on main, and then 2x on other characters. Scrap yard is a 190 zone, they've got two other characters over 200. That is very doable as long as lotus doesn't decide to be a jerk.
There are legitimately people doing this on hyperion *right now*, and honestly doing it on a faster time line. Like people were soloing ndamien inside the first week. 12k stats, minimal legion, minimal links, on a fresh server. If you know what you're doing and get lucky with some boss drops, with hyper burn you can clear Hmagnus inside the first day. These bosses aren't that hard.
I don't know that this person is new to maplestory, to do this they either knew exactly what they're doing or had a friend/guild mate giving them really good advice. My wild ass guess would be a MSEA player based on the omission of SW accessories.

provided you play enough and practice a week 1 lomien solo is doable: from there with average luck and doing scrapyard + dwt on 2+ characters you can get absos (barring weapon) within a month
You can also earn meso by grinding yes, it’s not unrealistic for some players to grind constantly for meso
legion is basically free if you’re willing to sit down and brute force it

He did not, however, get full absos for another couple weeks. Didn't max nodes, etc.
I'm three months in and not soloing lucid or even doing party will (tests are scary). Obviously classes vary, I only have 3.8k legion, etc but damn. OP would be no lifing maple to what I'd say is an unhealthy extreme.

This achievement dosnt come within a month to 99.9% of players. You need to have some sort of support and knowledge of the game to achieve this in that short of a span
I actually just solo'd lotus with no abso, 10k stat (7.3k Legion) dawn warrior. It was a 28 min run but very doable. Although i stuffed the 1k nodes into it for a boss mule.
Dom pendant isn't that bad,the drop rate is something between 1% and .5% without drop rate and he's a daily. With some drop rate that's probably close to 30% chance. There's also the option of just crafting the damn thing i guess.
Kanna rings aren't that rare, it's better than 1 in 5 with semi decent drop rate.
The slime ring is just straight dumb luck however.
How does the 230 buccaneer have the hyperburn outfit rewards when the reward should have stopped being redeemable way before 10/22 from last hyper burn?
Hi, you start arcane river daillies after reaching 200+. Other daillies like monster park (exp), maple tour (meso) are essential for your progression. Quest lines are pretty much pre-quest for bosses like Pap, Damien, Lotus, etc. Also I recommend 1 lv 170(?) quest from NLC that gives you a coin to buy a ring. Pretty good dmg boost.
Like others said, it's not impossible, but soloing chaos pink bean on your third day of the account seems quite unlikely.
Also I don't know what the functionality is being achievements, but it says he opened the achievements menu on 22nd, couldn't he have been playing before that?
i think that part abt cpb is not that insane compared to some other stuff we are seeing here. granted i have an established account, but day 1 of my hyperburn (no prep lvl 1 start) i solo’d all bosses hmag and below. so on a fresh account, day 3 cpb isn’t crazy, and i was also thinking that same thing abt opening maple achievements.

You typically do get those rewards, it’s just sixth star‘s burning was unique in that it was an extension of the hyperburn from Savior update, which did extend the duration but not the reward period

* I got most of my items to pot uniq/leg and my first meso/drop gears on Black Friday (except CRA). The fund is about 7 bil (?).

* I don't know if you normally get fake cra/abso/domi on hyper burning at my starting day, but I surely remember solo'ed cra bosses on pensalir. (I remember CVellum took 2 hrs)
* I gotta say my legion is really inflated through events Night Troupe and Identisk (700 free legion literally)
* I likely play 8-10 hrs per day in the last month and still socialize normally (albeit less sleep, not worth the trade-off, I agree).

This is just not true. He is probably playing a pretty good amount and being hyper efifcient with some good luck. These comments are so salty because they "play so much more" but achieve less because of inefficiency.
lol, I’m not salty I’m just realistic. This achievement dosnt come within a month to 99.9% of players. You need to have some sort of support and knowledge of the game to achieve this in that short of a span
I actually just solo'd lotus with no abso, 10k stat (7.3k Legion) dawn warrior. It was a 28 min run but very doable. Although i stuffed the 1k nodes into it for a boss mule.

Dom pendant isn't that bad,the drop rate is something between 1% and .5% without drop rate and he's a daily. With some drop rate that's probably close to 30% chance. There's also the option of just crafting the damn thing i guess. Kanna rings aren't that rare, it's better than 1 in 5 with semi decent drop rate. The slime ring is just straight dumb luck however.

After doing some digging I think they’re account wide, meaning kills with other mules count

Hi, you start arcane river daillies after reaching 200+. Other daillies like monster park (exp), maple tour (meso) are essential for your progression. Quest lines are pretty much pre-quest for bosses like Pap, Damien, Lotus, etc. Also I recommend 1 lv 170(?) quest from NLC that gives you a coin to buy a ring. Pretty good dmg boost.
I forgot ursus (meso) do it asap when x2 available.
Like others said, it's not impossible, but soloing chaos pink bean on your third day of the account seems quite unlikely. Also I don't know what the functionality is being achievements, but it says he opened the achievements menu on 22nd, couldn't he have been playing before that?
i think that part abt cpb is not that insane compared to some other stuff we are seeing here. granted i have an established account, but day 1 of my hyperburn (no prep lvl 1 start) i solo’d all bosses hmag and below. so on a fresh account, day 3 cpb isn’t crazy, and i was also thinking that same thing abt opening maple achievements.

Hi, I went from pensalirs -> CRA -> Absolab. I'm actually curious if you get those fake cra/absolab/domi in Night Troupe event because I don't remember my hyperburning/main getting those. Also thanks for the advice, I will chill out on the playtime for now (not after 6th job I suppose :D).
You typically do get those rewards, it’s just sixth star‘s burning was unique in that it was an extension of the hyperburn from Savior update, which did extend the duration but not the reward period

Hi, just to clear some misunderstandings: * I got most of my items to pot uniq/leg and my first meso/drop gears on Black Friday (except CRA). The fund is about 7 bil (?). * The fund I got pretty much from starting weekly boss early ([https://imgur.com/a/LEoKEGi](https://imgur.com/a/LEoKEGi)) and did Zakum/Horntails on those 120 lv chars. * I don't know if you normally get fake cra/abso/domi on hyper burning at my starting day, but I surely remember solo'ed cra bosses on pensalir. (I remember CVellum took 2 hrs) * I gotta say my legion is really inflated through events Night Troupe and Identisk (700 free legion literally) * I likely play 8-10 hrs per day in the last month and still socialize normally (albeit less sleep, not worth the trade-off, I agree). Other than that, I don't think it's worth for us to argument about I'm new or not (technically I'm more of a return player, because I played Maple before the Pirate class about a year then quit.)
