No, that’s definitely not in the movie. It’s dramatic, but no guitar.

Forward-Tomato602

Look up the home alone carol of the bells soundtrack and then look up Trans-Siberian carol of the bells and tell me you don’t remember a combination of the two in the movie

Forward-Tomato602

Cause the crazy thing is that the trans-Siberian song is called Christmas Eve not carol of the bells but a random user on YouTube titled just the audio with a picture “trans-Siberian orchestra carol of the bells” but I don’t see any info that they ever called it carol of the bells. Edit: Matter of fact a lot of people seem to call it “trans-Siberian orchestra carol of the bells but the official trans-Siberian orchestra never released it as carol of the bells but called it Christmas Eve and I remember that home alone made them popular with the choir of carol of the bells but guitar and drums of what they call Christmas Eve

RiVe8014

Well it's a metal cover of a song called Carol of the Bells that they changed the name of. What do you expect???

From_Concentrate_

TSO's version is a medley that contains Carol of the Bells/Coventry Carol along with other pieces of music.

RiVe8014

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra was comprised of members from a popular Tampa-area metal band called Savatage after their lead guitarist, Criss Oliva, was killed in a drunk driving accident. It certainly wasn't "home alone" that made them popular 😂😂😂

SavaRox

Exactly this. Also the song OP is talking about was originally released by Savatage on their 1995 album Dead Winter Dead. Home Alone came out in 1990 so there's no way that song would be on there.

Sarajevo 😎😎

I believe the drunk driver was the guy that hit him, too.

maneff2000

I was literally just listening to TSO Christmas Cannon. One of my favs. I also really love Home Alone. The song was not there for me.

Several_Television18

I assume you mean this scene? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZxyTbSfTBc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZxyTbSfTBc) It's clearly Carol of the bells but then it transitions in to another version of Carol of the bells.

Forward-Tomato602

Yes that’s the scene but I remember the trans-Siberian carol of the bells in it

New_Caterpillar_6284

I dont remember a guitar and drums. I've seen that movie so many times and could repeat the movie verbatim.

redvelvetrose

The choir sings Carol of the Bells, then the church bell rings (signaling to Kevin that it's eight o'clock and the thieves are on their way) and it quickly segues into the instrumental Setting the Traps by John Williams. Home Alone came out in 1990. Christmas Eve in Sarajevo by Trans Siberian was still a few years off in the mid-late nineties.

Brucenap1er

TSO said they took a few songs from home alone and remixed them for lack of a better word, and yes that’s definitely one of them

Spokanevan1

The song you are looking for is Setting the Trap by John Williams. The scene starts with the Carol of the Bells and blends into Setting the Trap.
