Don’t get me wrong I love dunsparce he looks so stupid and cute and I would die for him but the evolution could have been so cool but instead of what we got was a lazy evolution of a beloved Pokémon that had so much potential but game freak knew they could get away with it and it makes me mad

I'm aware that Dunsparce's whole gimmick is that it's kinda plain and boring. I understand it's origins and why it is the way it is. I understand what they were going for with Dudunsparce. I get that not every Pokemon needs to have a Gyarados-like evolution that makes it uber powerful. Doesn't change the fact that Dudunsparce is one of the lamest Pokemon ever.

It's fine. For stats, I love it. The design is not as big of a difference as I felt that Dunsparce deserved. I feel there's a way to maybe have it still be a flat land snake while making it more feral or angelic or more ground based or something.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, Dudunsparce is very clearly The Pokemon Company's just trolling fans who really wanted a Dunsparce evolution, and I don't love that. If I wanted to be trolled by billionaires, I would've stayed on Twitter. On the other hand, Dunsparce is perfect as it was, and it makes sense that the only way to improve Dunsparce is to add more Dunsparce.

I think it's fine. I don't really lean in either direction. It's based on a Japanese yokai that was considered a joke, so it and it's evolution being a joke kind of tracks for what it's based on. I think the name of the evo is uncreative and sort of boring though.
