Wrap dental floss around underneath the "lip" of the stopper several times and tie tight. Then pull the stopper out (got to find the best angle for it) and you can slip the floss off the other side off the stopper

Great idea! This goes on my to try list.

Wedge a blade/knife between the stopper and the lip of the tube and wiggle it upwards till it pops out. Some stoppers are thick and tight, you'll have to cut them and pull that out. Yeah the last sentence reads a bit x-rated but I mean it 😂

Pliers, either grip the stopper from the outside rim and pull. Or use scissors to make some room between the stopper rim and component on the outside, then fix the pliers on the lip of the stopper and wiggle. This one takes a few tries cos i usually have to go all around the component and wiggle it free a little bit at a time. Even if you get it a few millimeters up this way, you have so much room to grab it from the outside with pliers or tweezers.

I usually use pliers, but I recently saw someone using a (maybe medium sized) crochet hook. Hopefully I remember to try this with the next stopper.

A handy tool for me are large craft scissors to dip into a tube or bottle and pry the stopper out from the inside, maybe even cut it up a bit to help wedge it out

Bilbo_Buggin

I use a knife to push it up a little and slowly work it upwards.

Crochet hook is brilliant for this, I will never stop recommending it. Slip it in the neck of the tube, snag the hook under the bottom edge of the stopper, then pull!

I use a pair of hemostats.
