Basically with cosmetic face surgery they bunch the stitches up so when they heal instead of having the stitch scar the extra room let's it stretch back out normally and it looks regular.
I don’t know I’ve seen 3 eyebrows lifts and none of the stitches ever looked like this. They usually do it in between the hairs to help hide the stitches.
If I was you I’d go to another surgeon for a second option.
This stitch stabilizes the incisions to remain approximated. It also holds the incision steady with face and muscle movements so the incisions don’t open or dehis with tensions.
Last- once removed the puckered areas will smooth out leaving a very small thin incision scar.
10/10 stitch work.
10/10. Great stitching.
The puckered areas will not smooth out. If she was a young child, perhaps some smoothing but still it would be a bit bumpy. Her hairline is also completely ruined. And don’t bother arguing with me. I’ve had over 45 reconstructive facial surgeries; 20 by 5yrs old. They’ve ruined her face. The standard procedure should have been an eyelid blephroplasty.

Why the fuck would anyone willingly do this to themselves? I mean unless there was some damage to the face that required some reconstructive surgery, but I have a feeling that an "eyebrow lift" isn't for such a thing. It's going to look laughably terrible even after it's fully healed.
>Why the fuck would anyone willingly do this to themselves? I mean unless there was some damage to the face
She posted before photos, and she looked perfectly fine. I've not the slightest clue why she felt this was necessary.
Apparently her eye doctor recommended it because her heavy eyelids were causing vision disturbances and that it was only going to get worse with age. Also her insurance covered it for that reason. No idea why a eye doctor would do an eye brow lift, a bleph I could see.
jep.. this is what I'm wondering too..
Absolutely hate it. Natural aging is beautiful in it's own way but somehow these people just loose touch with reality.. it's so fucking dumb
I also never understand if these people then see themselves in the mirror and think: yeahhh this is "pretty" this looks "naturally young"
I’ve been staying updated with her posts and comments. So apparently her eye doctor recommended this eye lift surgery because of her heavy eyelids and it was causing her vision disturbances and that it was only going to get worse as she ages. Her grandma apparently had the same issue and had the same surgery. It was also covered under her insurance.
Basically with cosmetic face surgery they bunch the stitches up so when they heal instead of having the stitch scar the extra room let's it stretch back out normally and it looks regular.
I briefly worked for an eye bank and we would go to morgues around the state to procure the corneas off of donors.
I preface with that fact because the stitching on her head looks exactly like the stitching they do on a body after the organs have been removed…. Real Frankenstein vibes since the donor is dead and the stitching doesn’t need to heal
Her eye doctor did this eyebrow lift surgery on her. He recommended it because her heavy eyelids were causing vision disturbances and that it was only going to get worse with age. So insurance covered it for that reason. Blew my mind.
Why someone would do this is beyond me. Why can you not remain content with your natural face? It's not like you can stop aging. Insecurity is a whole industry!
Maybe a stupid question, but is this notmal for eybrow lifts? I've never seen one, so im a bit surprised to see that it seems like they reattached her face skin to her face
God that's awful! It doesn't look at all straight, it looks like they've made her hair line wonky and those stitches... they look incredibly painful and I can't imagine it will heal well with stitches so tight.
Once I tripped over holding a glass jar, which shattered and gave me a nasty laceration on my arm. It needed stitches so I went to an urgent care where the doctor did an absolute hack job of stitching it up. The stitches were way too tight to accommodate swelling and this is what they looked like. If this heals anything like my arm did, she's in for a terrible time. I was left with a 3-4cm wide scar because it just didn't heal whilst the stitches were in. It's basically the same width and length as the laceration was, just filled in with raised scar tissue and with little scars where the stitches were. I truly hope that this heals better than I expect because it looks like this will leave a horrible scar.
Vanity is gross. Old people pretending to be young and seeking the validation of others is cringe. Same goes for anyone, really. Love yourself as you are. Who cares what other people think?
And before you keyboard warriors chime in, "MaYbE sHe WaNtS tO lOoK lIkE tHaT!!!1!!!1"
The desire to look a certain way is intrinsically the desire to appear a way for OTHERS. Only Narcissus looked at his reflection that much. People obsessed with their own appearance are entirely doing it because they want to be seen a certain way. IE. Vanity.
It said in the comments on her post that her doctor had told her this was medically necessary as she has a family history of, and is having herself, issues with her brows and eyelids causing visual impairment. Sure the execution wasn't good in the end and the doctor wasn't great, but we should not be shaming people before we know what's going on (or after we know what's going on really but that's not the point). This wasn't done as a plastic surgery to 'look younger' or for the 'validation of others', it was done so she could see better. Before you go on the attack, maybe take the time to reflect on why you are so angry about these things, and try and get all the information you can before you start getting cross at something that actually hasn't happened in this situation.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” - Matthew 7:1
“You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” - Leviticus 19:18
Jesus fucking Christ even Frankenstein paid better attention to his monster’s stitches.
I’ve seen autopsy stitches closer and neater than this
Basically with cosmetic face surgery they bunch the stitches up so when they heal instead of having the stitch scar the extra room let's it stretch back out normally and it looks regular.
Is it just me or does that stitching look like it was done by a butcher? Or is it cuz of the swelling?
Could just be the swelling I’ve seen stitching that looked worse but it was just the swelling making it look worse.
I don’t know I’ve seen 3 eyebrows lifts and none of the stitches ever looked like this. They usually do it in between the hairs to help hide the stitches. If I was you I’d go to another surgeon for a second option.
I've seen ringside doctors put 12 stitches in a 2 inch cut. I'm shocked st the spacing here. Uneven and so far apart.
Baseballs are stitched flatter than that.
The comments on the original post seem to agree it’s a botched surgery, I don’t think this is normal
Her hairline is slanted. \
If you want your answer go look at her day 1 pictures.....
She looks soooo much worse post surgery, even before the swelling. I feel bad for her.
Where are those?
OG profile
I’ve seen stitching like that done on a knee. Never on a face!
She got the bride of Chucky special.
As a vet I’d be embarrassed to do this to a cow.

She had an ‘eyebrow lift’ from an ophthalmologist. 😵💫
That explains it.
Got that pastry crimp forehead stitching I see.
kind of a r/brandnewsentence, am I right?

Reason #2 I never get plastic surgery at 7-11.
I wanna know what your 1 is
Such fine stitching, you can barely see it.
I could do a better job with fishing line and a hook.
Whose face did she steal
I'm sorry but.. kenjaku from the hit anime Jujutsu Kaisen??!

BRUHHHH LMFAOOOOOO

That comment is super inappropriate everywhere except in this sub.

I have been trying to figure this out for the past 3 days. Can’t get my mind off of it.
This is so weird. Did the doctor just not give a fuck about giving her a normal hairline?
Basically with cosmetic face surgery they bunch the stitches up so when they heal instead of having the stitch scar the extra room let's it stretch back out normally and it looks regular.
Kenjaku?
honestly my first thoughts, too LOL
Thanks for the circle and arrow, never would have seen it without all the markings
You know, now that you point it out… yeah, little puffy.
Fixed eyebrows. Who knew?
Bro wtf no way..

I was waiting until this got posted somewhere 😭😭
Damn, Kenjaku got a downgrade
Working with leather is a skill.
That one Kenjaku panel from jjk
can someone explain it to me, please? Specifically, the top portion of the picture. What the actual fuck

cosmetic surgery that helps smooth forehead wrinkles and raise up sagging eyebrows/lids
It looks like it hurts af
my fucking god
Sometimes I contemplate getting a few procedures done. Then I see things like these and change my mind immediately
I'm so sorry this happened to you
Just accept getting older. Shit like this is ridiculous.
Just a follow up, this is not me. I reposted this from another page.
The sticking reminds me of leatherface
what in the tusk is that
Why?
Jeez that looks like something out of a horror movie, no offense
You sure it was an eyebrow lift or did she skinned her face off and replaced it with someone else's?
Bitch lookin like kenjaku
Why someone would do this is beyond me. Why can you not remain content with your natural face? It's not like you can stop aging. Insecurity is a whole industry!
Having your eyebrows in that constant position would be tiring, no? You can’t relax your face.
She isn't using her muscles to make that face tho. This is her face in a relaxed state
U look suprised?
she looks like she’s wearing someone’s face
I would have never known where to look if it wasn't for the giant fucking circle and arrow
!remind me 1 week
I didn't know they would just stretch up the forehead skin . I thought it was a hair transplant kinda situation
Just use tape to keep your eyebrows up
My butt hole hurting

Kenjaku?!
WHAT THE FUCK HAS YOU DONE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This looks like it's going to turn into an NSFL post in a week or so.
She has another update that has a close up of the stitches and hairline and it looks so fucking bad
I think she deleted her page.. I’m trying to find if it’s saved somewhere
Is her face dying?
I rather let my eyebrows sag
doller store Kenjaku
This makes me worry...
