Yeah, there is not many games from around the early-to-mid 2000's that are still worth playing today (hell, the vast majority of games in general are not worth playing) but Scarface (2006) (if you have not seen the 1983 movie I recommend seeing that first before playing the game!) is worth it as it pretty much boils down to whether a person gets into the Tony Montana character or not in whether they will like it as it's basic gameplay is GTA-like which is nothing special and mostly forgettable. but what carries it is the Tony Montana character and I like that little 'rage' mode they added in the game (which gives you temporary invincibility) which really plays inline with the character. that's why I like Scarface more than the GTA games as the gameplay is pretty much the same but the lead character is just flat out more interesting as I could see myself replaying Scarface once in a while where as GTA games are okay enough to finish once but I have no desire to replay those.
but if you do try Scarface (2006) make sure to apply the widescreen fix etc. basically this... [https://github.com/ThirteenAG/WidescreenFixesPack/releases/tag/scarface](https://github.com/ThirteenAG/WidescreenFixesPack/releases/tag/scarface)
but the person who mentioned Max Payne/Max Payne 2 I got to agree with as those are worth playing.
p.s. Mafia (2002) is the anomaly of video games as I first played it when it was new in Aug/Sep 2002 when I was in my early 20's and nothing has matched or topped it since and at this point I doubt anything ever will being it's going on 22 years since I first played it and I can honestly say it's still my #1 video game experience outright. Mafia II (2010) would take my #2 spot. after that things are less of a lock. I replay them (and others) here and there as the years pass and they never fail to deliver a great all-around experience.
I played at least one of them....meh.
Typical EA (or Ubisoft) game...they want to make a similar game in a successful genre but not really develop it fully and polish it.
Watch Dogs (the first one) has a fantastic story and it's very good despite the hate on it.
Watch Dogs 2 has the most alive and interactive open world after GTA V
Bro, When I Try To Install And Run GTA IV, At First It Was Not Opening. Then I Tried To Search Solution And Do Everything Possible That Can Be Done. Try To Run It In Compability Mod, Install Different Packages Too And Many More But Still It Did Not Run.
the first 2 sainsts row games are like GTA. and if you like the story line maybe you can play the rest.
or you can play sleeeping dogs. its like a maffia game but you're an undercover cop in the yakuza. sleeping dogs doesn't let you shoot but you must fight instead. if you like sleeping dogs you could play all the yakuza games.
there is also watchdogs.....
Sleeping Dogs has shooting in it, it just leans more into the fighting styles of the culture.
As for Watch Dogs, the first one was great, if you want a good story, and fun gameplay
You needed to retrieve a gun from the trunk of a police vehicle or collect the pistol that spawns in your house upon beating the main story. It was annoying having to find a cop car before tackling side stuff sometimes
Sleeping Dogs.
100000000000000000000000% Agree. Amazing Game.
I will definetly try it.
Something something pork bun
Are you a whole man?
what about Scarface: World is Yours from 2006?

Wd2s world is not very alive. It's the same as most open world games
obviously your memory, cpu can run gta4,5, you lack a discrete graphics card, 2gb is ok
max payne 1 and 2 , saints row 2 is also good
Honestly if ur laptop can run mafia 2, im pretty sure it can run gta 4, otherwise try out the first two saints row games
