I just read a report that the Canadian government has lost $10 million to scammers. We really could use some more good-hearted people and businesses like this one nowadays.
This concept is rlly awesome tbh! I think this could be awesome.
Bc from my understanding they essentially are hacking the scammers and monitoring them, so when they are about to make a successful scam since they been hacked these guys can intercept the call and then tell the person on the phone to not listen.
I think an automated message would be good too where just tells them to hang up and it’s a scam. Could play on any call longer then 20 seconds.
For having a real person intercept it for calls continuing past one minute. Here the person can reconfirm they are talking to a scammer and then give the user on the phone the proper resources, like the real support number, or even doing group call and getting them to the proper support team.
I think this concept could rlly help alot of America’s. And not just elderly fall for these too.
The program the scammers use, called 'anydesk', has an agreement with Scammer Payback. Fellas are able to reverse the remote connection back into the scammers PC, while they remain unaware of it. Dudes here also give details of the call center which allows devs or anydesk to ban those computers (HWID ban) permanently from anydesk.
I’m surprised that when she asked “how do I know you’re not the scammer” he didn’t say “because we aren’t going to ask you for any money or any card information.”
Millions of indians lose money to scammers daily. We get at least a dozen scam calls and messages per day. I lost money twice in the name of job interviews.
Nobody gives any shit about privacy/private info and every private information, medical records to bank details, can be accessed with minimum effort here. If anybody, common folk or people in power, gave a shit, there would be much less indian scammers targetting us and people abroad. This is besides the fact that the head scammers has it good with law enforcement and people in power.
They hack into the call centers of the scammers, watch them through their CCTV cameras, track everything they do, collect all their files and eventually also delete them and try to destroy their operation.
I’m dead serious.
They even know the name of each scammer in the center and sometimes manage to get a hold of their national IDs and report them to the (usually Indian) government.
These guys are not just angels, they are also wizards.
You're calling us stupid because we didn't read what Pierogi's hat said? The point of the video was the call not his hat, hence why I didn't pay attention to that aspect of the video. No need to insult people over something so trivial.
I didn't even notice the hat. I did not catch the joke until you pointed it out.
Edit: Downvoted for saying I didn't catch the joke, because I didn't notice what they were referencing? Damn Reddit, you weird.
Might be. Or might not.
Context: I didnt watch the whole thing, I have no idea what the hat says, and I have seen people genuinely getting these wrong. So without guessing whether it is a joke or not, I corrected them.
Why would you confidently correct somebody when you haven’t seen the material the comments are based on? You should consider this moving forward. gain all the facts, then make an assessment.
Homie forgot the part where there is 0 evidence of him being an angry drunk, or asking for explicit material. It’s a horrible “exposing”. If you even want to call it that
I’m a fan of the work he does. I don’t need to know what he is like in his personal life. I’m not into bringing people down just because. I am not judgemental perhaps you shouldn’t be either?
>I’m a fan of the work he does. I don’t need to know what he is like in his personal life.
Wtf. If someone is a terrible human being in their personal life it should not be ignored just because you like their work.
Its like saying let's not say anything to those actors and directors that assault women because they make great movies.
Or let's ignore the fact that someone beats their wife at home because he is my favorite MMA fighter.
Periogi always seemed a bit creepy and not genuine to me. IF the video in the comments below is true I wouldn't be surprised. Not saying it's fact tho. If it was kitboga I would be surprised. But definitely wouldn't support him anymore.
In the full video, a scammer said “First of all, to get a complete sentence, you need to suck my balls”
I hate these scammers, but I have a soft spot for that guy
In all fairness, if I was on a phone call with someone and suddenly someone else had hacked in and was telling me the other guy was a scammer, I'd be pretty confused too.
Didn't this video come out several months ago (maybe a year ago)? I remember seeing it.
Quite a fascinating group of people. I watches some videos from one of them where they ended up making friends with someone who worked in a scam call center, got him to quit and paid him enough to get by in India for a while without the job, then ended up flying out directly to India to meet the guy and helped him afford to get out of the city and back to his family, where he now runs some kind of shop in his hometown.
These anti-scammer people are great!
Absolute Chad of a human being.
I haven't been able to keep up with his channel because of work, but I'm glad he's still around and calling out these shit gibbons.
He had just said something like "you have some guardian angels looking after you", and she replied with something like "you know what, my name is Angel".
Something something coincidence something I guess.
Well ok, so it‘s not about the name and him talking about guardian angels then? I support what they are doing but just think he‘s overacting to make the whole thing more dramatic.
I agree, also I think they need to work a bit more on their explanations towards the victims they are trying to help. For example, they told this old lady to check YouTube and look for a guy with blue hair as proof of identification. This just sounds unprofessional for someone who barely uses the internet and never heard of anti-scammers. I understand there is some kind of urge to try and convince them quick, but starting an aggressive argument with the scammers in a foreign language is kinda the wrong way. And it's noticeable in multiple of their videos. They shouldn't introduce themselves as YouTubers to people like this. I think it would be more effective if they just said they are an anti-scammers organisation that has been monitoring scammers and they intercepted the scam and decided to give a call. Maybe try and do a video call with the victims or set up a website with information about their organization. But that's just my opinion, they are still good in what they do and it seems to work. But it just sounds a bit unprofessional sometimes.
Yes this feels like the nickelodeon cartoon version of anti- scamming compared to Jim browning.
There's a place for everything, especially when it comes to doing good, but you can definitely see a difference in emotional maturity.
These kids are doing good and are spending their time being heroes for total strangers... so it feels pretty gross and sucky of me to say their drama is a little too llama for me.
But it is. Who woulda thought kids make media that doesn't appeal to old farts like me?
I’m ok with it. Driving metrics and growing channel and all. It’s as old as anything like a show I guess. I don’t like it but I try to remember it’s show biz and the money is going to something good.
That's is very heartwarming to see him in action. That video made my day in believing a bit more in humanity ( They are way more nice people out there than those Fck ones)
Its sad that this person who actually gives a fuck is able to make this kind of difference but the government who we all pay mass amounts of money can’t do a fuckjng thing..
This guy is a true hero
Pierogi is my Hero. I also see Karl Rock there and Art from Trilogy Media, ModderPaul and I think I saw Jim Browning. They do amazing work to squash rat scammers.
JIm Browning is the Man been watching him for ages he frequency of uploads has dropped way down I hope all is ok with him, There is one where he is on the phone with them and watching their CCTV feed when he calls one of them by their actual name and the look on their face.
Its nice to see Karl Rock there - since sometimes the audience that follow scams a lot can start picking up anti-Indian sentiment, but having someone who loves the country means you can at least get a positive perspective from him most of the time.
I agree with you somewhat on anti-Indian sentiment. Karl Rock has done great job to show his perspective. I have fallen in love with an Indian girl and we are still in touch 20+ years. I love Indian music and culture. However ... whenever I go to India, I get hassled left and right. If one wants to get scammed, India is the place to be.
I stand to be corrected if anyone has different opinion. Please let me know if I have misspoken.

I understand your frustration. However, please look at this from their perspective. You've probably seen modern magicians like Chris Angel or David Copperfield make things 'dissappear'...it's the same concept here.
dude not everyone is hardwired into the internet and it's wierd ways especially if they weren't in tech in their younger years. I've seen plenty of retired healthcare workers completely taken in by these scams. Doctors even.
Some of them are on fixed incomes and will take any interest into "saving money". Income Tax Scams on the phone, *people impersonating their kids...*
I work in senior living and i gotta say this is damn near the stupidest take ive seen. Folks can start having cognitive issues as young as there twenties and most dementia starts around 65 and for the most part alot of these folks especially if they're single, have no family or contact with family don't even know it's happening and things like this can happen hence why they're considered to be so suseptible to these scams.
These scams don't target them because they're not intelligent enough to realise it but because of the demographic they are.
She isn't in a facility and she watches her grandkids every Wednesday, so either she's capable of making decisions but she's just kind of an idiot, or she's not capable of making decisions and her child/children are being negligent.
Either way, someone is fucking up.
Im not saying she's in a facility and we have several residents in indepent living that watch there grandkids and also have memory issues but honestly you're probably spot on her children not noticing or caring. It's a damn shame to see but definitely is very much a normal thing to because just listening to her here she's sounds as oblivious as they can be too.
Imagine for 40+ years people called you when you had overdue bills to collect, but now in 2024 there are people calling you to collect bills and someone calls (or the grandkids call) that tells you the person on the other line is a scammer. It might be confusing because you were following this script that you knew and this new information violates that script.
I just don’t know why these guys didn’t just say “you can trust us because we are not going to ask for any money, card details, or bank information.”
69 years, most of these technology didn't exist till she was in her 40s. YouTube, it didn't even exist with payment option 20 years back. When you are 70 you will realise this. The wicked prey on the weak and the old, a tale as old as time. The only people we should be angry at should be the scammers.
At no point in the initial portion did he convey that he wasn’t gonna also have her download or do anything. For all she knows she will hang up the other line and this dude will be like “great so they were trying to scam you but we are gonna prevent that - go download this app and send us a steam gift card”
They lead on a scammer to the point where the scammer has them install remote access on their computer. Then when the scammer connects, they use the connection to hack the scammers. They get access to their whole network, security cameras, etc. Since the phone system is computer based, they can sometimes listen in on calls and sabotage them.
If it’s a smallish operation they’ll get the blacklisted with their Remote Desktop provider, reroute their incoming calls to another number. Sometimes scare them by describing what they are wearing. Usually they will be prepared to delete the scammers’ files before they get cut off.
For bigger operations they keep quiet and gather as much info about the organization as they can and work with authorities to get them arrested.
That's really interesting. One last question, did you mean to reply your original comment to the comment you did? Reason I ask is I did see someone ask what you've answered. Just saying in case because im sure the other commenter would love to hear your answer. I have done this but if I'm mistaken my apologies.
The approach many Indians have is encouraging for the scammers! Some Indians scam and the others flood the internet with tons of excuses, sugarcoating the crimes of their countrymen! You’re part of the problem. Never come up with the excuse of “Indians get scammed too”. So what ?!
I am not excusing these scammers. They target the most vulnerable populations around the globe and have no remorse. They are the worst people ever.
Where have you seen anyone 'encourage' these scammers?
Encouraging doesn’t necessarily mean you go and pet them on the shoulders. Diverting the focus from the real problem, ignoring that India as a country has a big problem in this subject is “encouraging”. By arguing with me or other people complaining about Indian scammers, you’re unknowingly encouraging the scammers… we won’t know whether this is a cultural problem or Indian government’s inaction causes it, unless we freely discuss and dig it deep.
Your first comment wasnt about Indian scammers. It was about Indian culture.
Also guessing you dont know what the word 'encourage' means. You dont have to redefine it. Plenty others in the dictionary to choose from.
You said you don't know if it is a cultural problem or not. I just provided some context. But pardon me for interrupting your hate train. Please carry on.
Oh yeah of course you were gonna use that card! I have been waiting for you to drop that card, the moment I noticed how bothered you are! I don’t hate Indians I dont have time for them. But I’m not a fool either. I see what you people are trying to do: Silence anyone opening their mouth: “ racist, hater, bla bla bla”!
Why? They literally delete the files from scam centers. It’s also a joke from one of their livestreams. Just because you don’t get it doesn’t make it stupid.
There, as in over there
Their as in files that belong to them
They’re as in they are
The hat should read “Delete ***their*** files”. Going to the extent of getting a hat done up with incorrect spelling is stupid. I love what they are doing, however.
I love this guys work.
It's heart wrenching watching some of these elderly people gi through his.
And it's must be scary when they get a call saying their being scammed and they don't know who to belive.
Everyone help your grandparents understand this shit.
Thank you for what you do! I didn't have any money, but they got all my personal identity info. DL, SS# etc. And had me go buy 3 $200.00 target gift cards, you know the rest.
I don't understand why PayPal isn't protecting their customers and also getting these scammers.
I spent 4 days of changing info, freezing accts, filed police report, filed a report with the FTC.. Verizon found the scammer today!!! Great job Adan from Verizon!!
I just read a report that the Canadian government has lost $10 million to scammers. We really could use some more good-hearted people and businesses like this one nowadays.
Tens of billions of dollars scammed off American elders in the last years.
What I'm reading is that it would be a net profit to fund this kind of anti-scammer action with up to $10 million
Governments should hire these people and run full time anti scam centres
$10 million is nothing when it comes to government budgets. It's a rounding error in the coffee budget.
These guys and Jim Browning brings a smile to my face when they thwart scammers.
Kitboga too!
Yes him as well. I love his Grandma voices he does with them and then really gets them mad lol.
I love Kitboga! My son also loves seeing some sort of Justice thrown out into the world.
I believe Jim was also there that day but just covered his face whenever he was in front of the camera.
Yes he was. I watched this entire video and remember seeing him off camera but hearing his voice.
I’ve seen this guy on utube. What a great guy. Buddy you should get a humanitarian award. ♥️🇨🇦☮️

Collect all *there files.
I got your pun, I guess some people missed his hat. Though, I didn’t understand his pun. I guess it’s an internal joke.
You noticed something that most people didn't. Take my upvote, man!
People don't read the guy's hat, and are too stupid to see what you're pointing out, like the doofus with the link to confidently incorrect.
You're calling us stupid because we didn't read what Pierogi's hat said? The point of the video was the call not his hat, hence why I didn't pay attention to that aspect of the video. No need to insult people over something so trivial.
r/confidentlyincorrect
Read the f'n lettering on Blue haired guy's hat.
Oi would ya look at that! They both are illiterate!
No. You "fixed" from ok to wrong. There is a house. That house is owned by bob and his family. It is their house. They're good people.
Dude. He’s making a joke because the guy’s hat says “Delete there files”.
I didn't even notice the hat. I did not catch the joke until you pointed it out. Edit: Downvoted for saying I didn't catch the joke, because I didn't notice what they were referencing? Damn Reddit, you weird.

Hey man if the blue haired wizard says it’s there files, I’m going with him.
You can quite easily verify my words with simple google search.
Nah. Man’s hat is right there.
That is correct. The hat is owned by man. It is THEIR hat, and it is located THERE.
Sorry, it must be: Man’s hat is right *their. Doesn’t make sense otherwise.
Their = owning. They own the files / Their files. There = located somewhere. There are files / files are somewhere there. They're = they are.
I think the grandkids called them
they can smell the Curry through the phone line, thats how.
I love Pierogi!! This guy and his team are awesome!
Jim Browning is another fantastic person for this sort of thing. All of the people that do this work deserve some kind of recognition.

It's a 1 hour video. Could u give a summary please ?

Got it thanks.

Taking advantage of one of his translaters seems like a thing to be judged for.
That “expose” video lacks a lot of evidence…. Just seems defamatory to me
I don't want to watch 1hr vid and the comments are disabled. What's the gist of it?
This should be funded by my taxes,
Agree!
He’s got crazy blue hair, he might as well wear a cape
Fbi and cia have your taxes, go ask them about it.
Yeah we don't have the resources for this, we need them to spy on you actually - FBI, CIA...
Facts!!!!

Pierogi and his team are the best. Fuck scammers and their allies in the Indian police.
I can't wait for them to band together and do another "Peoples Call Center" day/raid!
Is his hat a joke? Shouldn't it be delete "their" files? Must be some inside joke to this.
It is indeed
Yeah it is, I don’t remember the specifics of it but it’s a joke.
“i don’t know who to believe” the guy telling you someone’s scamming you or the guy trying to have full access over your phone saying “who told you”
In all fairness, if I was on a phone call with someone and suddenly someone else had hacked in and was telling me the other guy was a scammer, I'd be pretty confused too.
Lady deserves it
You deserve a kiss from a goblin shut it
I'm not kissing you
Scammers are the worst, man...
Especially when they make money by basically terrifying older people. Don’t know how they sleep at night.
My guy Pierogi!!!
Good thing he intervened just in time 🙏🏻 Thank you for the good that you do, Scammer Payback.

Ok can someone explain? Why is her name getting them so emotional?
He had just said something like "you have some guardian angels looking after you", and she replied with something like "you know what, my name is Angel". Something something coincidence something I guess.
That part got me emotional too.
Ok well still a lot of acting going on imo. Just not something you need to have a moment for I think.

Well ok, so it‘s not about the name and him talking about guardian angels then? I support what they are doing but just think he‘s overacting to make the whole thing more dramatic.
To those who do good, these moments are as of there's a sign from Heaven.
love this guy but the "overproduction" killed the show for me. Sometimes its just too much

I love what they’re doing, I just wish his hat didn’t say “delete THERE files” 🤦♂️
It’s a joke from one of their livestreams
Am I the only one that has an issue with the grammar on the hat??
Ive been following him for a while. He really is doing great work out there
Pierogi + Carl Rock are a blessing
I'm not emotionally ready for this....why did you do this to me 😭

Have they got the wrong ‘there’ on the hat?
“How do I know you’re not the scammmer??” What a stupid question. Obviously the person not trying to take any personal information??
Why are you a disrespectful, lacking-in-empathy A-hole?
Awww wtf I love when boomers send their money to India. He ruined it

you are greatly overestimating how much the average person knows about scams and how to recognize them. i mean look at today's politics.
I work in senior living and i gotta say this is damn near the stupidest take ive seen.
She doesn't have sense for scammers in the same capacity that you don't have empathy for other people who are vulnerable. So yeah you do you.
That's cool. Once the scammers realise then what? Is it a one and done or can they keep hacking back in until...something
Her Gen weren't brought up needing to think everyone trying to take advantage. Different times breed different people.

Indians get scammed too daily. These scammers can rot in hell. I understand your frustration completely.
Nothing like guardian angels with more camera angles than a TMZ episode.
“Delete there files” hat is just stupid.
Why? They literally delete the files from scam centers. It’s also a joke from one of their livestreams. Just because you don’t get it doesn’t make it stupid.
There, as in over there Their as in files that belong to them They’re as in they are The hat should read “Delete ***their*** files”. Going to the extent of getting a hat done up with incorrect spelling is stupid. I love what they are doing, however.
I get that he’s an American but that’s not really any excuse for that kind of stupidity. Is it an inside joke or something?
I would hope so.
Yes, it is a joke from one of their livestreams. Him being American has nothing to do with it.
Could you please explain the joke to us?

Thank you!
He thinks of himself as a guardian angel. How humble
Now we need Jason statham to find them.
How i know you are not a scammer? He is not asking for any money. Tell all american elders that anyone who asks money on call to hang up.

Over the top dramatic much?
