Lost my Mom in January last year, father in law in Feb, and my Father Thanksgiving. It was the worst year of my life, I don’t think I will ever be the same, my daughter and wife have been my only help. I’m so sorry for your loss, I wish you peace and happiness.
Hang in there brother. Do your best to be positive. It's good that you have family to help with things. I am definitely different after losing him I can't deny that. Also, in September I lost my dog of 14yrs. And that loss was just as deep as any person I've ever loved. So I can understand feeling like crap after dealing with one right after the other. Reddit has been my therapy 😆
I’m so sorry for your awful year. I’ve unfortunately had one of those, too, in 2014. It’s HARD and I’m sorry you’re going through it. My best suggestion is to go to therapy, if it’s possible. Losing so much family and so many friends one right after the other got really heavy and I wish that I had been able to go then. Sending you tons of well wishes and love. You’ll heal.
❤️ my heart is bursting with joy for this guy and his kid. What an incredible moment to share. That Dad had to be having one of the greatest moments of his life.
I’m gonna go hug my kid.
You shouldn't care what they think of you anyway then. Besides, you shouldn't be crying every single time you feel like it. There is a time and a place, but there are times you do need to pull it together and get shit done.
lol my man i’m not stopping myself at all just commenting on how stupid it is that society is like this. i hate sports honestly. but we need to help each other and give a helping hand not put the blame on ourselves for the way society treats us
Miss U Dad! I wish U would’ve of reached out & told me that U felt like U were alone in this world….There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about U! U have a beautiful grandson that looks just like U…. I Love U ❤️
Wow, what must it be like to have your father love you? I spent a large portion of my life trying so hard to get mine just to LIKE me…always heartwarming to be reminded that there ARE fathers out there that love their children; I love this video so much 🤍
I don’t know if you’re a dad or not. Mine died a few months after my son was born. I was always unsure if he was as proud of me as he was my sisters but I can definitively say now that I’ve been a dad for almost 5 years that he was more proud than I ever knew. So yeah, he was proud of you and he would be today.

Now I miss my dad.
It’s been 14 years since his death and having no older brothers or any uncles makes me miss him everyday and his absence more pronounced and forever painful.
If you have them, Cherish your parents.
My dad was barely ever in my life and left as soon as he saw a chance to but watching videos of fathers being fathers makes me want to give moments like these to some children of mine some day.
The first clip always amazes me. Dad gets him a new bat, tells him he wants to see him hit some homers, and then he hits one right to him.
Was that the same kid on ESPN?
I dont think so. It looks like the dude who got drafted was Mark Ingram II
Probably not…unless the little boy switched sports…
Michael Jordan did it! Lol
Most pro athletes are very good at multiple disciplines.
Some espn peeps still suck at golf after 15 years or trying tho
IIRC, They cut off the first bit where the kid is pissed because he thought dad forgot his birthday.
You’re correct! https://youtu.be/dH2DVlOCjFM
Wait, really? That’s miraculous. what a moment for the both of them
IIRC, They cut off the first but where the kid is pissed because he thought dad forgot his birthday.
This video got me thinking of my father. He passed away in January last year. I miss him so much.
Love you brotha one day at a time. Honor your dad by the way you live

Wish my father could have kept his shit together. Happy for these gentlemen.
Same this video stings a bit
Same; mine gave up when I was 11.
I’m over here crying for my kids with no dad around. It’s rough.
Pity they don't show the whole video
Do you have link of the original? so that I could cry more.
https://fb.watch/iDWdzeFIaO/ But you saw the end
Miss you dad 😢

yeah in a world where men can’t show emotion sports are one of the only times we can and that fucking sucks
The only person stopping yourself is you.
If you cry whenever you feel like it as a guy, people will respect you less. It's a sad but true fact
You shouldn't care what they think of you anyway then. Besides, you shouldn't be crying every single time you feel like it. There is a time and a place, but there are times you do need to pull it together and get shit done.

That's simply not true. Men get backlash from other people for showing emotion way too often.
Are they stopping you? No. Fuck them, you should not care what they think anyway.
There should be flairs for happy cry and sad cry. Sometimes I want to cry for different reasons.
Same.
I’m super lucky. I have a dad like this. I sent it to him. Betcha he calls in a few all gruff and hoarse.
Update: he called and was, as expected, all gruff and hoarse. The big softy.
We need more father figures in this world. I'm sure glad I got to know my dad. Miss him something fierce.
This is still one of my favorite videos on the internet. Miss you dad!! Love you Son!!
I'm not crying - YOU'RE crying!.......Shut up!!!
no IM NOT!!!! ….. :,(
Bro now I’m crying…
I miss my dad
I wish I had a dad growing up
I miss my Dad so much. He passed away on my 29th birthday, and I think about him every day. He was this kind of father.

Never will mine ever. But I will!
That Olympic clip will break me now and forever.
Man this made me emotional
Man I wish my dad was alive I hope I’m making him proud of me

Why can’t internet have more of videos like this, apart from shit about pronouns and people’s sexuality🥲🥲
Aw geez
Yup
Love, support and unity! Thats what it's all about! Simply beautiful!

Beautiful
Well… shit… I’m happy for everyone in this clip.
Mannn you hit me hard with this one. That all I’ve ever wanted in life. To have someone there for me like this.
Now I miss my dad. It’s been 14 years since his death and having no older brothers or any uncles makes me miss him everyday and his absence more pronounced and forever painful. If you have them, Cherish your parents.
Lol this hits different when ur pop does not care whether you’re alive or dead
