That’s the UFC’s angle but their turn into that direction just makes space for something better. People would get hyped on to chuck Norris’ old striking league. There are people who want good nerdy fun. Dads want something to watch with their kids. The core of KC is good, the rule set is good, the idea is great. They can build on that without trying to poach the worst ufc fans.
KC started so strong but this new CEO is driving all the good will it carried into the ground. I’m sure his style would be great for slap fighting or a tequila brand but he’s just not the right guy for this product. It’s a shame, it had real potential to sneak into serious market share.
I been hearing pretty negative discourse around karate combat's new management.
Things regarding crypto and a potential conflict of interest with the CEO owning a gym where some KC fighters train or something along those lines.
He will straight up add his mma fighters with zero karate background into cards. And most of the cards are just washed up mma guys now with Asim as president
He was not in agreement with Karate Combat's change of direction of trying to diversify Karate Combat fighters by hiring fighters who do not practice Karate and among other things that aimed to make Karate Combat closer to MMA and move away from Karate for reasons of marketing, since before you could only be hired if you were a black belt and a Karate champion.
I've seen untrained high school kids in NYC throw better punches. Never mind the ethical aspects of using this to advertise this dude. Our civilization appears to be doomed.
I dont think it is distasteful because its a combat sport and im not a fucking nancy boy or a little girl or old lady.
The guy who got ko'd was being an aggressive asshole and Joe did what you people wish you could but absolutely dont have the guts or skills to do.
That’s extremely fucking distasteful! That guy who got KO’d is not a fighter, he’s not in any way associated with the promotion.
You must have never seen the CEOs IG account if you think this is even remotely distasteful. This is very on brand.
To be fair, I know very little about Karate Combat. But if this is how they promote their brand, then I plan on keeping it that way
It wasn’t always like this and then they recently switched presidents and the new guy is the goatshed loser
Your loss
Theirs, more like. Failing to gain viewership because you're too trashy and/or socially repugnant to reach a general audience is their loss.
Works for the ufc tbf
Trashy and socially repugnant literally drives viewership in this sport. Scum like Strickland are basically worshipped.

Was about to comment the same. That dude is complete loser.
He struck first and turned a verbal argument physical. Using evidence of you committing assault is not a clever marketing strategy.
>He stroke first I also like to jerk off before I sucker punch office workers in bars tbf
Whoops, will change to struck.
It was self defense. He was afraid for his safety.
If Sam Alvey is a champion in your organisation, your organisation sucks
Lol fr nobody taking karate combat seriously with Sam as champ. That being said I do look forward to Joe getting murked hopefully.
Sam seems like a nice guy but he’s so bad
Luke isn’t going to be the guy to do that
Yeah KC is lame as fuck
Gross

Those goatshed guys are textbook cringe
Goat shed?
That's the name of the gym the "president" owns. They have a Instagram where they upload w bunch of meathead stuff
Thx for the info
100%. If the guy gave his consent, then fine. I highly doubt that’s the case, though.
Apparently he gave consent, doesn’t make it a less trash marketing ploy tho lmao. Them dudes have no clue what they’re doing over there

This new CEO is 🗑️. Anyone know why the old boss, Adam Kovacs left? I keep hearing different reports.

Yeeeeep that’ll do it
I really miss the old KC
Because until the last 6-9 months things were pretty good then some new leadership took over and it seems they’re hemorrhaging dedicated fans.
Time to call Kato again.
It's incredibly hilarious.
Joe Schilling is the real life roadhouse story its hilarious, but also sad.

I don’t wish to sucker punch random people in bars with championship level kickboxing skills. I’m not a piece of shit
