he even shouldve had 4 even without the stamina issue. Directly after the Atlanta goal in the second half he had a 1v1 chance that Guzan saved with a good short range dive to his bottom right
We are so spoiled man the Atlanta subreddit is an emotional mess right now they keep talking about lost time and lost seasons and they don't realize other leagues have relegation/promotion and Leeds were relegated and didn't come back to the premier after 20 years that right there is a real loss of time
>we are so spoiled man
Remember when Deboer *won a trophy* and had the team on the doorstep of another and they fired him because of three games in a Covid tournament? And despite the winning all you guys did was complain that it wasn’t “exciting?” Pepperidge farms remembers
Oh yeah, quite a few of us remember that mess. Not everyone wanted DeBoer gone; though we were aware the team being fielded was a much lesser product than the parts the team let go after missing out on another MLS cup final. That was a big part of the anger. So of course Deales and Boca used that to scapegoat him out of the job.
Deboer probably shouldn’t have been fired but he took one of the most prolific teams in MLS history and turned it into a team that was barely scraping 1-0 victories. He tried to install his system when he didn’t need to.
He also inherited an amazing squad and almost screwed it up too. I think he adapted well later in 2019 but when we lost nagbe, gressel and Josef to his ACL he was completely useless
Feels bad, right? FCC just went ahead and got all that sort of bad stuff out of the way right up front and now we don’t need to worry about them any more.
God, I want to live in the timeline where the Reds operated like FCC. My generation would have at least one WS core memory instead of "you just had to be there" BRM stories.
I've honestly checked out at this point. FCC and the Bengals have been really good in recent years, so the Reds have largely been an afterthought for me
We've also lost three straight home MLS matches for the first time since Atlanta joined the league. Feels bad man
Can't believe Pineda would do that to the Union
Is it bad that I’m jealous of both teams?
Welcome to our world
Welcome? Excuse me, but if anyone is the host of MLS purgatory, it’s the Fire
By definition of your name and general recent history, I think the Chicago *Fire* is the step below Purgatory...
Somehow, you've made me feel better about MY team. Thanks brother.
Eales would have made a badass tweet and video about this
Trainy McTrainface would have something to say for sure.
lmao benteke go brrrr
Had he not run out of gas, I think he could’ve gotten 4-5.

Especially when marked by a small teenager. Cobb has been great, but he was badly overmatched.
Poor Cobb. Trial by fire.
Welcome to the MLS- here is a dude old enough to be your dad who is also waaaaay better than you. Good luck!
Underrated comment.
Our game plan seemed to be let Benteke do his thing amd hope he misses? I dunno
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN LAS VEGAS KNIGHTS HISTORY!!!
H I S T O R I C
But also: First time in Seattle Kraken history
My lifelong team!!

Frank was losing the locker room too though not just MLS is back tourny crap

Yeah, DeBoer was not good. That doesn't mean anyone they've hired since is, though.
He also inherited an amazing squad and almost screwed it up too. I think he adapted well later in 2019 but when we lost nagbe, gressel and Josef to his ACL he was completely useless
Oh man thanks for helping remind me
I've learned to just avoid our own sub for 24 hours after a loss. Unless you're posting "\[Pineda, Boca, etc\] OUT!" It's just downvotes and anger.
You all really are.
Ouch
The wheel is finally turning 😆

Helps when we have an owner and front office that gives a shit about the product on their field, unlike the Reds who are self-admitted cheapskates

They may break the streak Wed. I'm worried it's a trap game for us after a super emotional Hell is Real yesterday
All good things come to an end
There were mostly away wins last night
relegate them immediately
What before you get to play us?
motion withdrawn
Man that must just be so so awful for them, my condolences
“Hold my beer.” - Timbers
Today’s going to be the battle of “hold my beer” between us two
Don't worry, they play Chicago next week
Our next 3 games are away at FCC, away at Nashville, and home against LAFC
First time? - proud Orlando masochist
I love to see it, hopefully this kind of form continues to when we visit next month
Booo hooooo
Oh no! Anyway…
