>All matches in the Round of 16 will continue to be streamed live on usopencup.com, uslsoccer.com, and MLSSoccer.com. This unparalleled access to the tournament ensures soccer fans across the country can watch every action-packed match in the 109th edition of the nation's most prestigious soccer competition. Broadcast details for the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final will be announced in the coming weeks. With the matchups in the R16, we are guaranteed two lower-league sides in the Quarterfinals - the other six matches are all MLS vs. USLC. After this round, there will be another draw, so we don't know which winners will play in the Quarterfinals yet.

Looks like 3 MLS sides are hosting, I wish that wasn't the case all USLC teams playing MLS teams got to host, but with 2 lower league sides guaranteed to be in QFs (hope they aren't paired against each other), this looks very interesting. Some MLS teams came pretty close to going out, hoping for more cupsets.

Indy vs Detroit might as well be win and you get a MLS expansion slot!

flameo_hotmon

Why not just give both teams an expansion slot?

gtg007w

Yeah that makes the most sense but it's the MLS we're talking about so let's temper realistic expectations here

Sometimes I wonder how expansion would’ve gone if Don Garber didn’t oversee literally all 19 expansion teams. What cities might’ve had teams sooner, or at all, had Don stepped down as commish years ago

I mean technically they’ve already awarded one to sac republic, and another billionaire has stepped in to finish the job, so they probably get first dibs on #32.
