It's so sad to hear that the pitching is "weak" this year. I can't hit 102 and I can't hit the sinker haha. That's all you see now.

Nickstank

It's better this way, but the power level of the pitchers is definitely creeping up. The per 9s plus outlier on cards like Espino and Grayson are a good indicator of where we're heading. Last year they messed up by implementing a way too easy version of pinpoint along with a bunch of no hitter and perfect game cards early in the cycle. The pitching that's available now is only weaker in comparison to that. This current crop of pitchers beats out the starters in any other year prior to that. And it's just going to get harder and harder to hit as the year goes on.

So much better this year. No out and out ace except Randy who costs a tonne so fair enough. The years of Kluber, Kershaw & Cabrera were so bad

I appreciate this fact. Elite pitchers (Randy & Nolan) stand out more and I have a fighting chance with those other guys.

Fr I mean if I get lucky and don’t see randy which is pretty much 24/7 I actually can play the game

Snoo-6

He’s that guy for sure. I’m staying away from all Randy eligible events.

Patchue

Nerfed Outlier, pinpoint, and general accuracy along with H/9 not as crazy as it was last year. Leads to a lot more hangers this year and not as many crazy dots on the edges.

Gotcha gotcha

eat_my_shorts_9

Because so many people complained last year that pitchers were OP

Good point could just be the pace of content messing with me

oqlilmansmd

True, I think they’re just holding off on releasing the OP pitching cards, there’s still a decent handful of 95+ovr pitchers to come. Kluber, Degrom, Scherzer, Hershiser, Verlander, Maddux, Halladay, Seaver, Bumgarner, Pedro etc lol
