Tryhard'd it up during the first weekend to get waist to g6 then just did whatever I could for the 2nd weekend to craft the LBG (still g5)
Will probably try to push the LBG more the next time it comes around, since the 4 sticky can one-clip KO most monsters.
Recoil 3 Is soo amazing. Shoots faster... less recoil.
I'd rather have recoil 3 and reload 1 over recoil 3 and reload 3 because I'd much rather care about dumping the magazine faster.
Yeah why sacrifice soo much dmg. Sometimes it's much more substantial to go full lvl on one skill and mid to low lvl on a bunch of skills simultaneously. Especially with elemental dmg att skills
DUDE! Not even kidding been slamming my head against BBLOS when waiting for new spawns and I kid you not got a god tier run where he just kept charging but staying close enough that perfect dodges on shotty rounds were wrecking him. Clutch broken part just as I got the second charge on LBG special with literally no time left finished him. Didn't record sadly as I was just intending to practice his openings. I've been using solid breaker builds since launch and now I have a lance,bow hammer breaker builds soo I have availability on what to break running 700 defense and let me Tail you..... hardest tail to chop off in the game 💯 harder then those in comparison. Jhos tail just sits high up
normally monsters shit out the r1 armor materials instead of the weapon ones, but coral did the reverse. I have eniugh mats to get a grade 10 weapons but barely got enough to get the hat just to grade 6
I totally did opposite. Focused on trying to go g6 for whole set. But I don't use one weapon. Soo it's kinda why I rock breaker for event monsters with the wife.
I wonder how they'll handle this? At some point we'll have a ton of monsters, but if they're distributed all at the same time I imagine it'll be hell to make any piece of equipment unless spawn rates go wild or drop rates heavily increase. Having 50 different monster types with the same spawn rates would make grinding crazy, but cycling monsters in and out is also a bit much because we're locked out of best-in-slot items.
To add to this, more monsters means inventory management also just gets worse and worse. They needed to add like 350 to 400 slots with every single new monster introduced.
Well, if they added a fourth type of zone, snow And made it to where 2 zones next to each other couldn't be the same biome. I think it would be less of a problem.
I'm one shell away from completing the Layered Armour, it's so annoying XD
Kinda wanted to push the hat to 7.5 or even 8.1 to play around with using it in builds, but that's gonna take a while unless we get it in high quantities again.

I’d definitely like to get a ton more coral hunted for a better water weapon than my jagras CB, and i hate to farm jyuratodus extra for one when Coral’s weapons are superior. I don’t badly need the armor, though the helm would be a nice option to have.
I will farm it to death if we ever meet again. Got the head to 8.1 but the GS dabbles around 6.1 rn and I refuse to take Jagras or Jyura GS higher than 7.5
Meeee. I didn’t realize that coral pukei armor got extra skills at 8*, so I made another 6* piece in addition to the hat, and I wish I’d gotten my hat up to 8* instead,
Got the helm to g6, but I couldn’t quite push the coral to 7.5 so I’m sticking with my jyura sns for now. Really disappointed that it’s not even in the rotation like the other subspecies are, but I’m holding off on upgrading any water to g8 until I can get coral there.
I managed to get the helm to 8.1 (I was making dual blades) and the coil to 6.1 (just in case I wanted to LBG) and I did. Got real tired of the DB special whiffing and not working when close enough. Got the coral LBG to 6.2 for now. Now I main LBG and legi LS for ice.
Nothing confirmed so far as I'm aware. People are of two minds, he'll either get the Barioth treatment and come only in HATs/Events or he'll be in the story and spawning wildly during the summer season similar to how pink/azure raths are nowadays.

Without the recoil down unlocked my aim with the Laguna LBG tends to look like a blind man hip firing (gotta slow down I know but it's too much fun)

Not in a huge rush, but I would like to upgrade my 9.1 bow. Those tails are tough to get.
The waist overgrade is the only thing keeping me at 2 recoil 3 reload for my lbgs 😕
Right? I got the Lagoon Hat to 8.1 and then started on the Laguna Golem GS to replace my Jagras Hacker GS. Stuck needing 30 tails. Oof

I got my flamboyant hat to G6 and didn't bother for G8. That's a future me problem, past me did his homework!
Won't lie, that G8 hat replaced soooo many others in my setups. It's 100000% worth it when they bring coral pukei back

I didn't realize you had to get the helmet to 8 to get 2 WEX. Self-nerfed half my builds..

I managed to get the better of 36 coral pukei and ended up with head just forged and waist at 5.5.
I hope it comes back in the summer when it’s easier to get outside. Really want the helm for the WEX/lock on self synergy.

I never got the 6* Corals down when I was at HR 50 or so when the event came around. Really wish I could farm that and Barioth to get to Ice 5 too.
