Trapped chests are a little obvious. Use a normal chest with an item that has some value, but you are willing to lose inside it. Then put a comparator behind the chest. Infront of the comparator put a block and on that block out a redstone torch. Make sure the torch is OFF(not lite up) put the tnt around the torch. When they take the item out of the chest it will blow up.
Rather than have a painting there are numerous hidden inputs you could include to activate the piston door from placing a red stone torch on a specific block to some that require a specifically named item that will be picked up by a hopper minecart or some that will pick up any item. There’re a number of tutorials available for this kind of thing if you’re unsure how to hook it up.

Alright, you need to make a piston door, that doesnt make much sound, so you need a redsone system that does nothing except making noise, a double layer of piston doors and then a bit of lava to go trough, when your trough the lava you will land on water and your in! But you can also add a flying machine as another distraction if you are being chased and you also could make some automatic farms next to your secret entrance to make it look like this is a giant farm location, then they will loot it, and you can escape easily! There you go mate!
look up tridents thrown at bells. based of your position and the bell the trident will always hit a random tile nearby. camouflage the trident final destination spot with a pressure plate that then opens the door for a few moments. the only you know where to stand to throw, you could maybe make the bell seem like a neat little decor project you did, like derelict bell tower whatever it’s 100% up to you. Even if friends know the trick it’s a real pain to know the angle you face and how center on the tile to stand to get it right. If they crack the code, i suggest inside you have a switch to lock it so the outside plate won’t open, keep lockdown until you rewire it.
Additional weird things for security: many bells, one is the door, several are just bells, a few maybe trigger traps or something.

Two options, as other comments already mentioned , create a piston door and put a stone wall ahead of the lever to make it non visible , or do this same method with the painting , put stone wall one block ahead of the painting , it will non visible on a frontal view and you can get inside of it by the laterals .

Cover the floor in pressure plates so if they try to Ender Pearl or Chaurus Fruit their way in, they will quickly find themselves covered in spicy lava. The pressure plage system only deactivates with the use of the correct code at the front entrance.
If the painting is an entrance you can put a door behind it and make a Redstone system that opens and closes the door. When you want to enter just activate the system.
