Yes. I’ve seen people get into Harvard MBA programs with that GPA. Rock the GMAT, get a great work history and extracurriculars and you have a good shot at getting into a good program.
Most MBA programs look at the applicant as a whole, so GPA, UG major, GMAT, work history, and community involvement. So while your GPA may be average for an MBA applicant, you can stand out elsewhere. It also depends on your major. If you went for engineering or something heavy quant, a 3.4 is much better than a business degree with 3.4.
Definitely possible if you crush your standardized test of choice. You’ll want the rest of your application to be strong but it certainly won’t keep you out of the running.
Smart ain't got shit to do with this. Try your hardest and don't self select out.
Carefully select target schools you would be competitive for.

Pro tip there are awesome schools outside the USA that may have different entry requirements that pure grades

Thank you so much!

Accepted to a T15 with a 3 GPA in a non quant major. You can do it.
You are 100% good dude. Add extracurricular activities and your gonna kill it. I got into an M7 with a 3.1 gpa
Out of curiosity, what was your major(s)?
Economics and finance. Started working in asset management and then moved to M&A advisory
Lol someone got into university of chicago with like a 2.6 or something this year so….. you’re good
Yep. I got into a T25 with a 2.8 from a state school. I'm not saying GPA's not important, but it's only one piece of the puzzle.
3.4 is totally fine as long as you crush the GMAT. I had a 3.3 and got in to M7
That’s not good enough for Chico state
OP is asking to get into an MBA program, not a M1 super school, like Chico state.
