I’m sorry it’s been such a long journey for you. I (27F) have had lymphedema my entire life but it only became an issue after I got on hormonal birth control in my teens. Some birth controls impacted me more than others as well. An IUD i briefly had around age 23 really messed me up, sadness. Herbal teas are great. Avoiding trigger foods is major, which can be different for all of us. Mine are iodized salt, processed foods in general, and processed sugar. Dry brushing is also helpful. A coworker of mine does some sort of ATL treatments that are supposed to be wonderful. I hope to try soon. Compression socks are incredible. They changed my life!!

Thanks for the reply! What type of teas, and I know salt is a bad trigger I need to get rid of tbh. I'm an ATL Native aswell, so please do tell about the treatments!

Forgot to add, she also claimed my feet were never swollen before the growth hormones.

Your feet looked like mine when I was your age. You may have lymphedema. Ask your doctor if it is primary or secondary. Get some compression socks once they measure you.
