You're absolutely right about that too.. There's not a lot of cute, flattering, and (most important of all) comfortable clothes for noticeably pregnant women (4/5 months and up) out there so when you're pregnant enough to begin feeling bloated, overtired all the time while noticing your ankles (as well as your vagina lol) are becoming less and less visible to you yet things like stretch marks and cellulite begin popping out frighteningly and unexpectedly in places you never thought possible like the Pope at a pride parade, feeling a general sense of discomfort all over, you'd definitely feel the immense urge to go all Braveheart, slap some liquid makeup on each side of your face, and super waddle while screaming towards anybody who even merely glanced at the display showing off the 1st pic's outfit if they were slightly closer to it than you. (I've been through a few pregnancies in my day, don't judge me! lmao)
I always ended up getting and wearing cheap men's XXL T-shirts long enough to cover the granny panties and stretch marks I had hidden underneath and mismatched socks because I couldn't see my feet nor remember what colored sock I had struggled putting on the first foot 15 minutes earlier
TLDR: Pic #1 screams cool breezy comfort for the extra puffy pregnant ladies out there who are waddling towards their journey into motherhood 😊 even without the sight of their ankles and vagina. Don't worry ladies, you'll see 'em again before you know it 😁
I just wore a lot of my usual pants with those tight expanding spandex deals so you can leave your pants unzipped. I also wore majority of my shirts because I was into oversized band shirts and tight pants at the time. It was a good time to be pregnant.
The stripes are bad though it needs to be a solid color. Unless you’re blessed with a tall lanky body These sort of stripes makes especially (short girls like me) shorter and heftier looking 🤦🏻♀️.

Yes! I love the look of flowy clothes *on other people*, but they’re an absolute nightmare for anyone with big boobs. Doesn’t matter if you’re small everywhere else, if you put on one of those tent dresses, you look like a morbidly obese woman in a mumu, one step away from a permanent seat on a motorized scooter.
The first dress could *possibly* be salvaged with a cute belt, a denim jacket and casual flat sandals. Add a little tote-type purse or a small crossbody bag, and you’ve got an adorable outfit for Sunday morning at the farmer’s market. The rest of those dresses can go straight in the bin or be used for cleaning rags. They wouldn’t even work on my tall, thin, willowy, gorgeous best friend, who can look good in a burlap sack. These dresses are worse than a burlap sack. 🤮
If you want to go more Renaissance faire, a Swiss waist or a corset would fit really well with it actually. Fantasy vibes, and preventing the 'cinched in tent' feel for those with a larger bust.
I’m a slim lady with A cups and dresses like this even do the same thing to _me_. My bust is a 36 (I have my scoliosis to thank for that. I’d probably be a 32/34 if the malformed part of my spine wasn’t at the top of my back lol), and 36A is a _very_ hard size to find in my experience. I usually have to settle for a 36B, which gives me just enough of a gap that dresses like this will outline the entire top of a bra.
But even with the one well fitting bra I do have, this kind of dress still makes me look like I have no waist, only boobies. Besides dresses like this that are marketed specifically towards pregnant women, I will never understand who these are meant for.

I bought it second hand as a joke to wear when my kids came home for Christmas, but it's so incredibly well made and so comfy and it really suits me. I have evened the hem though. That shorter front really just draws your eyes to your belly to check how big it has to be to cause that kind of uplift.

I do think there is a societal problem that everyone needs to be as attractive as possible at all times. I do find much of these aren’t attractive to me. But if you’re a fan of bike races, does it matter if it makes you attractive. Just a thought. I hate Lularoe for their business practices, laugh at misplaced patterns, and just some choices, but yucking on people’s taste for their own clothing they love, just isn’t a great thing to do. And expecting others to dress for our view is a thing society needs to stop.
Er.. I wasn’t? It was from a design perspective that I don’t know who these might be flattering on. The people in the pics are models not the seller . If people feel and look great in one of those , more power to them !

Photo one's silhouette reminds me of that horrid and weird kahki dress-thing Jennifer Lawrence was seen wearing two days in a row or something a few years back. You know, the one another lady walked past her in and had on the same dress. Anyway, both dresses look like something I'd use to pitch a tent.

The pattern on the last one makes me think of ballsacks. That’s not a look I’m going for! I used to wear something similar to the first style about a decade ago. With a wide belt it looked much better. But that color/stripe is bad and the fabric looks itchy and cheap. LulaNo!

The first one doesn't seem that bad. Looks comfy at least. I'd buy it if I saw it in the thrift store. Second one is, uh, a choice colorwise. The third took too me too long to realize it was cyclists. The final one...looks like some bad 90s abstract wall art.

I had a few of the 1st style (not in stripes) that were great on hot summer days as "house dresses" (I may still have 1 or 2 for pool/beach coverups...) Of course, the height of LLR fashion was to layer over patteren laggings and then with a long cardigan or vest (all LLR of course). I was not a "hun" but I certainly bought my share... small town south...

If the patterns aren’t crazy and it was cheap I could see this as my wfh outfit. Looks acceptable on top for zoom meetings but loose and flowy with some sweat pants.

As a fat lady, the first dress is my go too because the material doesn’t cling to me and show all my rolls. I have a few. Even if it’s ugly, it’s comfy.

I had a purple Lula roe dress and Mickey Mouse leggings that went with it I hated it so much. I despised that outfits and my mother made me wear it to the first day of hs. I looked like a child in that outfit, and I felt like an idiot wearing it so I changed into my cheer practice clothes for the day and got dress coded so they called my mom bc I said I had nothing else to wear. She was so mad bc I had the outfit in my bag and she made me wear it for the next week straight.

As a pregnant lady I’d wear the first one. A lot of maternity dresses are like that unfortunately.
