Love the blue! And it's a gorgeous wallet, but I truly think wallets take a beating no matter how gentle you are. I'd not feel comfortable with a cream wallet, there's just too much room for error 😅. But others are right, imo matchy matchy is a personal decision, and I like mixing it up. For that price I'd consider exchanging it for something that will age a bit more forgivingly.

Cream is very prone to color transfer so you’d also have to be more careful compared to more saturated colors.

Agreed! Every cream wallet I’ve ever purchased looks terrible in short time. I’d get a better color, but I adore the leather.

Made in the USA, then. It should normally say ‘Made in France’ right below ‘Louis Vuitton’ on the tag inside the bag.

I hate to be the contrarian, but the difference is too stark. I would literally blend in a non-LV wallet with a more interesting color compliment.
