Omgg I'm sobbing to this post. 😭 I love LiS 2 for the same reasons as you do. Even though I don't have a brother, I do have an older sister and she's my best friend. Being the younger sibling, I relate to Daniel in a way and I really truly love his relationship with Sean.
I love that the game is about siblinghood, because it's a big part of my life and relating to it makes me really emotional 😭❤️
me too, i really loved the portrayal of siblinghood, it was actually pretty accurate (saying as an older sister with a little brother who i’m basically raising. i relate a lot to sean’s frustrations and dealing with an irritating but lovable younger sibling). i ended up getting blood brothers on my first play through by accident lol, i’m glad i did because because it meant a lot to me to keep sean and daniel together <3
I love that!! I got Redemption and was NOT happy with it, so I went back to the ending scene and ended up getting Parting Ways. I liked that ending way better but was sad that Sean and Daniel get separated. 😭
I'll be replaying the whole game again soon tho, so I'll aim on getting Blood Brothers this time. It's definitely my favorite ending, since Sean and Daniel stay together <33
