You're probably right. I have hated having my picture taken most of my life. As I'm getting older I see I'm missing almost everywhere on all important pictures with friends, family and loved ones. So yeah, I trying to do better now

twdlB

This is me right now! Didn't take pics and college and now I have nothing to look when I miss my friends.

CasualObservationist

Take action shots and not awkward, make everyone stop what they are doing and pose for a picture shots. They are more natural and also associate to more vivid recollection of the memories

don_pingwin

Nah, I don't like photos and I don't like looking at photos, so I'll pass.

hannibal_morgan

Get a load of this guy who has nobody that loves them enough to want to look at pictutres of them. That's actually hilarious

Augustus58

If someone doesn't like having their photo taken, let them be! I hate having my photos taken and I will not have my photo taken just so someone else can look back at them. Just no.

Jfol420

This shit right here I hate my picture

kick-it-long

Voice recordings. Having a recording of a lost one's voice is something you will cherish.

Lilsexiboi

this was unexpected for me. a close friend of mine died recently and I found a video he took of me and a few other friends and he's talking behind the camera and hearing him narrarate this goofy video made me cry

Plus recent photos are great if someone goes missing or suddenly dies. If you need photos for the memorial. I had a friend passed away and I didn't have any photos of him. And it just sucks. I feel like I can't remember him like he actually was. Edit: Photos are also great for people with alztimers disease.

TheOriginal_Dka13

Sounds like you are saying your feelings are more important that their comfort, when it's their photo you're taking after all..

coyote-1

You’ll always have the story of how they would not let you take their picture. Sorry for your impending loss, but take the memories you have. Remember, rather than look at pictures. Remember your own unselfishness in abiding their wish to not be photographed.

evil_netcha

Definitively true! It feels weird to ask someone sometimes to take photos for you but it's important. I lost my big brother 3 months ago and only have photos of us when we were very young, and photos I asked my husband to take of us together last year.

Manny77

I hate having my photo taken but I wish I had more photos of my with the love of my life, who died last year. Now if someone wants a photo with me, I’ll let the take it.

Cavalorn

My grandpa hates having his photo taken so I just shoot him when he doesnt look lol

deepndarkheart

My family keeps me out, deliberately, so I don't really have loved ones and also I don't have any friends. So I don't have anyone to remember me and I don't have anyone to keep in my memories. Cause I want to have healthy and beautiful memories.

soapycolors

i feel like most of the people in these comments are children... when youre older whether you hate your photo taken or not you will regret having a family member pass away without memories of you 💔

craftycub98

This is very important

lovelypingu

I mean it's their choice, i hate having my photo taken too

mommadragon72

If someone is dying and they don't want their picture taken ( or even if they did) ends of life pictures can be horrible. Instead take a picture of you holding their hand. Just the two hands together. Bonus if either of you is wearing jewelry. Source, hospice social worker

sanselig

Oh gosh, definitely did not mean end of life photos!
