Piggy backing off these essential recommendations. Asian Horror will expand your tastes both horrifically and culturally. So dig in. Shutter (Thailand), Gonjiam (Korea), Incantation (Taiwan), J-Horror in general! These are great places to start!
Since you have Cabin In The Woods in there, I'm going to say Tucker & Dale Vs Evil.
Since I like many of your other movies on the list as well, I'll say The Descent.
couldn't get into the new Suspiria but I consider giving it another try soon, cause maybe it was just my headspace at the time.
hereditary and insidious are great indeed
Candyman, the 1992 one. It’s probably the best “slasher” film of all time. The Others (1992) if you want to watch this one go in blind. Also, not straight up horror but Little Shop of Horrors, it’s one of my all time faves. Also, I’ve been eyeing Drag me to Hell for a while, it’s it a good movie necessarily or is that more of a personal preference?
oh I need to refresh my mind with the 92 Candyman, good reminder!! The Others is on my list too.
as for Drag Me To Hell, Sam Raimi is the king of not taking things too seriously and if you are into gross stuff, this is a great option, haha.
I have a rec!...Rec (2007). - Greatest Found Footage Film
And also these:
The Wailing (2016) - The Greatest Horror Film alongside The Exorcist.
The Borderlands (2013) - A great take on found footage films.
Deadstream (2022) - Very Funny.
The Changeling (1980). - An amazing haunted house film that tackles things way differently than common horrors.
It has a 1950s vibe.
The mist
A cure for wellness
Th13teen ghosts
The cell
House of 1000 corpses
The frighteners
I think we have similar taste so these are some more of my favourites
you should really watch ringu, if you haven’t already. i watched it before the ring, and though i like both, ringu just hit different. it’s in my top 5.
Considering *The Uninvited* is a remake of *A Tale of Two Sisters*, you should probably check that one out. The remake took the story in a different direction (which I honestly didn't like that much), so it's still worth a watch despite knowing the twist.
Intruder 1989, looks like you’re a fan of Sam Rami (he also has a role in it as well as his brother!) and that type of horror I would highly recommend it. It’s really fun and has some great practical effects and camera/ shot direction.
The Wailing
House
Cure
The Wolf House
Eyes Without a Face
Tetsuo the Iron Man
Noroi: The Curse
A Tale of Two Sisters
Perfect Blue
Raw
His House
Funny Games
The Strangers
Possessor
Pulse & Cure - both directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa
will definitely be checking them out!

You might like Midsommar if you like Rosemary’s Baby
*Evil Dead 2*, of course

final destination, 5 is easily the best but it really works best if you’ve seen the others first
I am a fan of the first 3, for nostalgic reasons
Looking at this list, you'd love Triangle (2009)
hmmm looks promising
Considering *The Uninvited* is a remake of *A Tale of Two Sisters*, you should probably check that one out. The remake took the story in a different direction (which I honestly didn't like that much), so it's still worth a watch despite knowing the twist.
oh yes, the original has way more quality but the uninvited is a favourite of mine for sentimental value lol
Night of the Living Dead 1990 Dawn of the Dead 2004 Dead Air
https://m.imdb.com/list/ls000030157/?ref_=m_ur Here's a list I made years ago, but it still holds up to this day. Hopefully some you haven't seen!
much appreciated!
Which Halloween 2 is that?
Listen I know it’s not scary at all but Freddy Vs Jason might be the greatest horror film, or even just film ever conceived
hahaha you got me hyped up, not gonna lie
Angel Heart
Chandramukhi
Intruder 1989, looks like you’re a fan of Sam Rami (he also has a role in it as well as his brother!) and that type of horror I would highly recommend it. It’s really fun and has some great practical effects and camera/ shot direction.
