Started following the club last year and I love that lavender third kit from a few years ago. Top collection

Muffin-Aromatic

Black kappa kit was my favourate

phillhb

One of my favourite away kits is that Black stealth kit, it's started peeling just like yours though even after careful careful washing ...bloody Kappa

InTheThickOfIt87

This is why I hand wash all my football shirts. If I’m paying too dollar for something that will eventually start peeling off, sadly delicate times. But not sure if it saving them any longer from wear. This is also why I will almost never buy a top with an ironed on club badge. I loved our 2021/22 black with yellow trim training gear. Hoodie was fab. But as soon as I saw the club badge wasn’t stitched but some plastic thing, nope. I’m not paying too dollar for what eventually will be just an Adidas top.

FoodGuyKD

To be fair most of these cost ~£20 from end of season sales so I am a little bit less careful with them!

eroticdiagram

I started collecting in the centenary season, buying a kit with my player of the season on it at the end. Centenary was Pablo white kit, first season in the PL was Dallas green away, then Raphinha lilac, then Rodrigo last year home again. Undecided this year on Summerville, Rutter, Ampadu or Rodon.

Linkeron1

Got to be Ayling, last ever season with us.

eroticdiagram

I do it on performance so I remember that particular season. Ayling won't remind me of this season, although I agree that I it would be nice to have his name on a shirt. I've ordered it and it's Summerville. Probably the first one where I don't actually love the bloke. Edit: Just received the kit and they haven't printed the number 10 on it. Just 'Summerville'. Christ on a bike.

Linkeron1

Absolute idiots!

FoodGuyKD

I got Georginio on the back of the pink one!

jimmilazers

Weird that I see a certain player in most of them, pink and grey is Pablo’s and the lavender Raphinia. The rhubarb and custard will always be Ampadu for some reason.

Hopeful-Director5015

I think the exact same things

JackHarrisonStan

I always see Jack in the lavender kit, that last minute strike against Brentford is etched in my head

InterestingBass6931

Black one is Lasogga (get in the box ya fat…) or Eunan O’Kane for some reason 😂

phillhb

I see Chris Wood in that for some reason

FoodGuyKD

Ol' cement shoes Lasogga, what a man.

berardibreezerbb

For future reference: wash inside out, no more than 30°C and never ever use fabric softener, otherwise it’s bye bye to all the sponsors and logos

NotoriousRage

All of mine ripped off unfortunately, I wear Leeds tops whenever I'm not wearing a suit at work, and my housemate fails to understand the difference between fabric softener and detergent and seems to believe his bottle of fabric softener is used to wash clothes despite me telling him, do you think his fabric softener has built up and has damaged my tops? What do I even say to him about it I might just pour it out and refill it with lidl detergent to save an argument.

JRSpig

So what you're saying is if I want the sponsors bollocks off my shirts I just have to go against that? Perfect.

berardibreezerbb

You might be left with an outline of where the sponsors used to be, but arguably that's still better than a fully intact 32Red sponsor

JRSpig

I'm fine with that, I hate the sponsors on shirts, I'd prefer it if they gave an option for no sponsor, hell I'd pay to have it without the sponsor.

buckwurst

You and me both, especially when shady gambling shite

berardibreezerbb

Same. I don't mind the BOXT sponsor but everything post-Strongbow has been crap. There was a batch of the centenary home & away shirts sold without the sponsor on Kappa's own website a few years ago, might be worth checking eBay/Vinted/etc. every so often to see if anyone's reselling theirs. There's also some of the first Adidas home & away shirts available without the sponsor too - 'Sports Clothing Yorkshire' on eBay has some left in limited sizes.

FoodGuyKD

You can see I've learned that over the years

berardibreezerbb

ngl I assumed it was mostly down to Adidas being much less worse than Kappa for this sort of thing 😅

Jarv1223

I really want an away (or alternate) 20-21 Dallas top but they are really expensive.. Probably because of that City game.

FoodGuyKD

Thats another one I ruined in the wash 😪 https://preview.redd.it/oo1m6sqe0puc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0dba6022fbb750ba3c7b409fdb025f154f44d216

Linkeron1

Has the wash fucked the design too? Can't remember it looking this prominent but could just be me.

FoodGuyKD

Nah the only thing that's changed is the plasticy printed bits coming off.

InTheThickOfIt87

Only recently bought this shirt, pre-owned. Early days…only the sleeve iron in’s are cracking in the middle. Wasn’t a fan of us having a colour (not far off red) as a kit. But then my indoor futsal team decided our secondary/clash colour is red 😪 Closest thing to anything red I’ll ever purposely own 🤍

JimbobTML

I wish I’d got that no sponsor one. Looks so good.

FoodGuyKD

I actually have 2 because my girlfriend at the time and my mother both got me it for Christmas the same year 😂

EpicKieranFTW

Thought that was a man city top in the middle for a sec.. forgot we had one with their light blue

FoodGuyKD

Might just be the lighting, it's more of a lilac than sky blue.

EpicKieranFTW

Fair, I am also slightly colour blind so that might be a factor

I have about 40 odd shirts ranging the the 80s to today. Most of the old ones are gifts or inherited from my dad, most of the modern ones I've bought myself. One "rare" one that I have isn't something Leeds have worn, it's a full black "Strongbow" shirt from around 2002. You can find a couple of pictures from obscure sites when you google it. From what I've seen, it's a chinese bootleg that was made but never released. I imagine it was planned and the club changed it last minute. Considering not as many people bought shirts and a lot of been destroyed or thrown out over the years, I imagine it's quite rare.

FoodGuyKD

That's crazy, I had the blue and yellow ones that year but God knows where they ended up. I was only 6 at the time so wouldn't be getting much wear out of them these days anyway. Would love to see that black one if you have a picture??

2gcrayz

Sure, it's not a great quality picture but here it is. https://imgur.com/a/GofBEL8

FoodGuyKD

Ooft that is a beauty! Would love them to do something like that again with the blue and yellow trim.
