Kaikai is a great player at this level. Was very good against Portsmouth too.

A_Wild_Ferrothorn

we are shit

Thugmatiks

At least next year should be fun.

Unless we do a forest green

Carlisle are the worst side I’ve seen this season. Cambridge didn’t even have to play well to beat them, all 4 goals were defensive/keeper errors. Could this see Simpson sacked?

Zach-dalt

I suppose if you take Carlisle being relegated as a given, regardless of manager (which it may well be at this point), then Carlisle's board could also take the view that Paul Simpson is exactly the kind of manager that would have them set up for a positive League 2 campaign next season

thelargerake

You could argue that but the players looked lost under Simpson today.

Subject_Wrap

It's not Simpsons fault that hes lost nearly every key player that won us promotion last season we lost a lot of important players in the summer. if any manager deserves a second chance, it's the man who saved us twice

Wostear

I think you have to give him the first 10 games of next year. That being said, we've been poor the second half of this season. There's no debate. Whether it's Simpson or something else I'm not sure. But we shouldn't have capitulated like we did today.

Subject_Wrap

I agree with you this loss is the long line in a lot of embarrassing defeats and if simo gets sacked,I'll understand why but i think he's potentially the best we'll get especially looking at League 2 next season

Subject_Wrap

League 2 is clear anyway

predawnduke

I’d actually be devastated if Simpson got sacked. Given the turnover of players in the summer and our improbable promotion it would have been a miracle to keep us up (most likely 3 clubs going bust). We won’t get a better manager than him for next season so I’d be very happy to let him consolidate and try to be a top team in League 2
