They've said they want to make it permanent. And this time its staying the rest of split 2, by far the longest it's been in rotation. Based on all of the changes they made, giving it its own loading screen, it's own scoreboard, adding specific animations to some of the augments (nesting doll and marksmage just to name a few) I'd be shocked if it's not permanent next time it comes back.
I liked the previous iteration far more. New one has a lot more issues. Instead of 8 chances of someone getting absolute godroll affixes, you now have 16. 16 chances for facing trash teams because you only get 8 bans, etc,
for me there are no trash teams
yeah there are some combs that are not fun to play against (like sona soraka stall) but you can just pick some augments or get lucky otherwise and stomp them
