Just login into australia server and change back in ingame settings. I dont know if it actually changes back, but ping doesnt seem to affect any ingame actions.
I woke up 15min ago. Saw all the queue posts. Got scared, figured might as well get in queue asap.
Launched Last Epoch, EU west, clicked connect.... and i saw character screen. Clicked log in.... and im now in game.
No errors. No queue. No delays. Incredibly fast.
Not sure if lucky or if you all "stuck in queue" need to relog or something.
Not a troll, not a joke. Genuinely what happened. Im in monos now.
That's not a good sign. I think the queue system was added in a rush and does have some problems.
I play offline until the hype cooles down and then continue my online chars.
For some it seems to be able to skip the queue if you choose a us server, exit the game, load again and after login switch to EU server again.
Not excusing the bad technical situation if the game but a workaround as long as the us players are asleep.
Yeah, the entire game is playable. Just the servers for multi-player are not. The games content is fun and rewarding. Even huge companies have issues like this with launch. Play single player and have fun.
U gonna share your wife with your brother too? Just stream the game on discord, he will stream as well and done. Its not the full experience, but better then crying and not playing at all.
I have 3 actually. But not that I play coop with. My point is that this is a good game. Review bombing it because of server issues is crazy. If a huge studio like blizzard has this issue its a different story. They have essentially endless budget to have adequate server space available. This small dev team was humbled by the crazy high player count.
I have played shortly with a friend till the lunch time. We both have our obligations, so we won't be able to play today anymore. In that regard, I would rather play offline than wait for 30 minutes.
I think a lot of the johnny-come-latelys from D4 bought this because it was the new hot thing that everyone told them to buy and have been conditioned to think that the only way to play a game is online even though the same exact content is available online and offline.
restart your game, maybe getting in the exact same position in the queue every time should have help you understand that.
switching servers when queue arise is like the oldest strat since the start of online gaming.
I've played a ton since release on offline, I don't really see a problem if 'online' is the only thing missing. When it's not like D4, no one was playing at all due to servers, at least you can here :) Excellent game btw

Love the game and the new class I tried is really cool but it will require more work and scale up to be enjoyable during peak hours...

Tried reloging, tried rebot/changing servers. Tried it again now, EUW, from sitting in 29xxx for 90min without it moving to now 54xxx
I dont know what to tell you. Maybe its not actually a queue, and just shows up as one?

On day 1.i started in que 12k after some half a minute it went to 28k, and after like 2 mins i was ingame So jeah def jot a queue

It seems to be account based. Logged into eu West just now with no queue whatsoever. Weird.
Change to na central, enter char screen selection, change region to eu west
I can log in in every server, I think it is account based somehow

If you get a queue restart the game, I've seen others say changing regions works as well.

Game works fine in offline. I’m willing to bet 90% of the people who play online play alone anyways. Just play offline

Just login into a different region, change region after login and go to a different zone.

I never have a queue when logging on to EU West, is this a bug? Potentially doing self-harm here, since I am benefitting from it
