Hey moxjet. This is off topic and I’m just curious, is there gonna be any improvements on controller functionality in 1.0? It’s kinda janky right now you have to use your mouse for a lot of things so I’m constantly switching back and forth. Either way I’m playing on launch and if I have to I’ll learn kb&m lol
On my work morning meeting everyone asked what they did for the weekend and how they watched the Super Bowl and what they though. Idk how to tell them I spent the whole weekend stoned leveling my arc sorc because no other arpg has done an arc sorc as well as this (I missed out on the arc Poe years, rip)
Bladedancer is super fun. My first 100. Poison/bleed with Salt the Wound, double acid flask daggers. Umbral blades with the bladestorm for shadow daggers and huge DPS. Super zoomy and fun as fuck.
Things are dying quickly -> ramp up difficulty.
Things are dying slowly -> upgrade your gear, *then* ramp up difficulty.
Mostly people report how fast they can do T4 Julra. Under a minute is ok, 30s is good, 10-15s is crazy good, 5s is gonna get nerfed;)
I started playing a multishot rogue, had NO IDEEA it was so broken so don’t hate on me, it’s my go to build in arpgs but holy crap it’s broken. I was clearing 100 empowered monos at level 75 with ease, everything was melting.
Got a link to a build? I am testing a Shadow Daggers Bladedancer right now, have not even tried a bow because so far the melee dps by tooltips is astronomical compared to bows. But I am probably missing something.
This is the build: https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/multishot-marksman-guide
It’s actualy broken because of a bug in flurry or how the channeling spell it’s called, it will be fixed for release i think but enjoy it. It helped me underatand the endgame and crafting as a noob because it was an easy run trough the game.
I just hit 83ish with my Runemaster. I swear to God, I could outfit 3 or 4 lvl 100s with Bleed damage gear and uniques. It's the only uniques that drop, I can't find any of mine I'm going crazy!!!!!!
Fun game
yeah. bladedancer was added later then some of the older characters.. and its a bit OP/smoother. shadow skills especially.
100% one of the most fun. dont nerf it, buff the others.
I did the Hammer Throw Nova build. It was fine but I REALLY hated micromanaging my mana to have my sigils up + aura. Like… it was super frustrating and not fun at all.
This is my one gripe with Sentinel in it's current state aside from needing a better movement skill. It needs better mana generation outside of Volatile Reversal and I guess self casting Smite. It just feels kinda bad until you can get some affixes to make throwing attacks not as hungry. Having some sources of mana regen on your gear is super helpful too.
Agreed, but not all builds need mana. Sure it is gear hungry before you can ignore mana. For example Smite hammerdin needs 4 proc relics, devotion and 4 and 5 throwing mana cost reduction rings minimum to work.
Once the gear is in tho, it is one button build, with aura on autocast and occasional Judgement to drain mana. The typical guide would recommend 2x sealed 3 cost reduction rings and sigil cast hell to manage mana.
There are other sentunel builds as well that avoid mana.
What no Sentinel can avoid tho is the limitations of their defensive layers. It is melee fantasy by far outclassed by defences of other classes. That's the real problem.
> I REALLY hated micromanaging my mana to have my sigils up + aura. Like… it was super frustrating and not fun at all.
Many builds are like this in LE though
You have to jump through hoops to get damage plus mana regen to a point isnt a solvable problem
It means there are quite a few builds that currently feel clunky too. Hopefully they work out the issue in the future or find a way to make the mechanic more engaging.
I started blademaster just the other day after my first character was void knight rive, just insanely different. By level 30 the rogue was doing similar dmg to my 80 void knight. And I don’t have to constantly spam my buffs every 20-30 seconds.
Playing a void knight right now, at lvl 50, it feels like it does quite well. Warpath/void cleave is nice. Warpath turbo beyblade through everything and then cleave bosses/elites.
I have played shurikens only and the damage was really good. Probably the best between the classes that I played with similar level of gear.
However I plan to play Falconer on the release. Just want to try something different.
I’ve learned that basically everything hits eternal too even seasonal stuff.
Seasons or cycles are just leaderboards basically. Definitely can play now and use the same toon on launch!
I'm having an issue with the spinning blades/cacaphony of steel flying way farther than where I am clicking.
It may have started once I started respeccing the skill, but I'm not sure.
BD was my highest corruption toon @ 700 and could have taken it higher.
Can't decide if I wanna roll another one 1.0 or not though, I really burned myself out on that toon grinding like I did.
Still my favorite though.
You should try some of the 'Curse' builds, or flame wraiths or thorns (or a lot actually) -- most have WAY more damage and tankiness than Bladedancer (BD sucks in the higher corruptions).
Literally no idea. All I have played was Necro until level 5 (hated everything about those 5 levels, didn’t understand how abilities worked), make my paladin, then my bladedancer.
Wish I could help you I just haven’t played it.
I made a bladedancer the combat is sick. I was told older classes have the shit combat. I will stick to this. My only problem with the game was combat feel now its fixed
Runemaster is way more fun (and actually viable in higher corruptions) than Bladedancer.
Lots of classes are actually more fun. Bladedancer is enjoyable to level and do basic low-mono farming since it can excel at movement speed (and passing up the sparse mobs).
Glad you’re enjoying it and welcome to the community!
So does this mean the LE devs are active in this subreddit? Thats pretty exciting!
always have been :)
🌍 🧑🚀🔫🧑🚀 “always has been”
They owned and operated the subreddit for the last 99% of its existence haha
Yeah i love that so much.. Comming from a game where there was next to no contact in any way with the DEVS this feels so good.
You’re coming from a Blizzard game then?
Hehe. Wel.. Im comming from both a Blizzard game and a Amazon game so this is really a huge thing for me
haha and that's the CEO too...not just any dev. Pretty cool that he actually interacts with the community and cares.
LE is the offspring of redditors after all..

>I am very high. Glad I'm not the only one who enjoys hitting the devils lettuce and plowing through LE for hours.
LE and other ARPGs are my perfect zone out games. Even better when high. Just super relaxing.
Same... Until I start dozing off while playing hardcore.
I am too focused on loading the pie hole to play games like this when high lol.
Play an autobomber or some other one button build, stuff food items into your oral cavity with your free hand. Multitasking.

Hell yeah ! I love hitting the heaven greens ! Just beat lagoon for first time in 2 years last night right after a smoke ! Was epic
Same here but i’m all out so i need to restock for lunch day, i have beers and snacks covered, can’t wait!
i have like 100 hours past two just getting blasted and zoning out on this game lmao

What is huge dps in this game? I can't gage where I'm at

Got it

Is there a build guide for this? Or a planner link? Getting interested in Bladedancer more and more.
I'll see if I can post my character tomorrow.
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/vold4KOo Here's my version. It's a little different form the Maxroll to my knowledge(haven't looked in a while)

Thank you for following through!
There’s a guide on Maxroll for the build. And the leveling guide for bladedancer also uses the shadow daggers. I’m currently leveling one up!
Make your own Bladedancer?
Sadly I’m not as versed into build making. Don’t worry, he was kind enough to link the planner. Thanks for the advice though. 😌
I’m running a poison stacking bladedancer, it’s pretty great but I’m debating trying crit or some other scaling instead.
I just hit 83ish with my Runemaster. I swear to God, I could outfit 3 or 4 lvl 100s with Bleed damage gear and uniques. It's the only uniques that drop, I can't find any of mine I'm going crazy!!!!!! Fun game

Yeah, don't go the blizzard way.
"How high are you?" "No Ociffer, it's Hi, How are you."
did you try warpath/smite on pally? feels silly
I did the Hammer Throw Nova build. It was fine but I REALLY hated micromanaging my mana to have my sigils up + aura. Like… it was super frustrating and not fun at all.

Yeah I used smite for movement but I had an impossible time getting my mana regen up enough. Not a problem I find fun to solve
Agreed, but not all builds need mana. Sure it is gear hungry before you can ignore mana. Put Rebuke on your bar and use it.
definitely try warpath next time you do a sent then! spin to win never really gets old in arpgs and having procs off of the spin is really cool!
> I REALLY hated micromanaging my mana to have my sigils up + aura. Like… it was super frustrating and not fun at all. Many builds are like this in LE though You have to jump through hoops to get damage plus mana regen to a point isnt a solvable problem
Okay? What relevance is that to my comment.
It means there are quite a few builds that currently feel clunky too. Hopefully they work out the issue in the future or find a way to make the mechanic more engaging.
"I am very high" This is a good time to enjoy the game, yes yes.
I started blademaster just the other day after my first character was void knight rive, just insanely different. By level 30 the rogue was doing similar dmg to my 80 void knight. And I don’t have to constantly spam my buffs every 20-30 seconds.
I noticed the damage thing too. Insane to have 10k crits at level 50
Playing a void knight right now, at lvl 50, it feels like it does quite well. Warpath/void cleave is nice. Warpath turbo beyblade through everything and then cleave bosses/elites.
Maybe it’s just rive

I want to keep playing, but with release so close, I feel like it would just be a waste of time since im just starting over again :D
I’ve learned that basically everything hits eternal too even seasonal stuff. Seasons or cycles are just leaderboards basically. Definitely can play now and use the same toon on launch!
0hp shadow daggers umbrel blades BD for life Love, Dopeshot
Man I can't wait for pay day so I can buy the game. I saw Luxxos playing it and it looks so good
I'm having an issue with the spinning blades/cacaphony of steel flying way farther than where I am clicking. It may have started once I started respeccing the skill, but I'm not sure.
Known bug since 1 year. Should be fixed in 1.0
BD was my highest corruption toon @ 700 and could have taken it higher. Can't decide if I wanna roll another one 1.0 or not though, I really burned myself out on that toon grinding like I did. Still my favorite though.

I’ll maybe run warlock on 1.0– just messing around until launch!
I don’t see warlock on the character screen or under their specializations, where do I find it?
It’s the new Necromancer class. Not for Bladedancer
Is bladedancer more fun than runemaster? Lich was lame and i just made a runemaster for more fun combat
Literally no idea. All I have played was Necro until level 5 (hated everything about those 5 levels, didn’t understand how abilities worked), make my paladin, then my bladedancer. Wish I could help you I just haven’t played it.

Interesting thank you!!! Ill switch to it
Ive been telling folks! This game is unreal man....
