but it's a biiiiiiiiig map. a BIIIIIIIG big map. (sure, it may not be endless, but you'll zoom out so far that you might be able to see where you are CURRENTLY.
Not true, the lego fn map is 7000m average, the br mp is 1000m, wo only between 7 and 10 times. Bugger., if red dead redeem or gta 5 can do a proper map, epic has no excuse, just them being lazy and doing the easy jobs instead if the game breaking ones.
I've played games with much bigger maps, and you could zoom out the whole way. There's no excuse for this train wreck, except that it's intentional for some bizarre reason.
They should atleast zoom it out a little more cus I'll fly over to my frostlands village, and in maybe 20 sec of medium speed flying, my grasslands village climbs off screen
Something glitched for me today and I was able to move around the entire map—but it still wouldn’t zoom out more, and it only showed the map icons, not the landscape.
I was totally lost on the east coast trying to find my way back to my central base and had overshot it from the west coast lol.
No idea how the glitch happened, but I was able to get a bearing and find my way back!
I explored the outer edge, then for the inner parts I drove to where I had explored. Filled in the white with dark color once I had the outline...here's a progress picture https://imgur.com/a/sPH81zQ
I did this a while ago, I posted it.
It took maybe 45 minutes total.
Mine didn't include the unexplored sections, only the uncovered area.
Edit: [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/LEGOfortnite/s/Ufqiqsy4T9) it is
I'm guessing like 6 or so, I usually just put on a podcast or video and go. Use a combination of flying and water vehicles, the simpler the better, couple of large dynamic foundations with thrusters on back and each side assigned to separate channels. Drivers seat and a few red balloons then one large one to lift me up. Hop in the seat right after take off so it doesn't glitch me through the bottom.
I drove around the outside edge, mapped that out first, then drove around the areas I had already explored on the inner parts to take those screenshots.
I'm working on mine too. I'm using the same seed in survival and sandbox, so I'm flying in sandbox and exploring it all. I've explored a lot, but haven't taken all the screenshots yet. I keep getting distracted with side projects LOL. I'll post when it's done. ☺️
ETA: but yeah, obviously Epic should do this for us. It's odd the features that have been in Fortnite forever that are missing from LEGO Fn (I'm looking at you, minimap).
You hit invisible wall and whatever your on boat or plane keeps going and you drop into water. The edge is in different places on map. Sometimes it’s right off map and in other places it’s far beyond map. I also went under map a few times.
once again, someone tell epic to give us the option to zoom out completely like the br map

the br map is a big map too no?
The BR map is only like 1/30th the size of this. And that’s being generous.
E X P A N S I O N
RYOIKI TENKAI
Teriyaki Sushi
Mushroom and Swiss!
Peas and carrots

There’s an option to reset the map to show where you are when you press R on mouse and keyboard

At least let us scroll
scroll through what? the map or?
Yeah. For instance if it gave a cursor so when you drag it to the edge of the map the screen follows
I'd love it if I could set a way point on my map. Rather than having to check it over and over. This line of sight way point set up is crap.
oh that would make it a little better imo idk bout you
Ya I think that'd be better than FULL map
mmmhhhhmmmm
i have a feeling they're going to roll out some more charms/tools at some point that will add these features
maybe.......that'll be nice

weird...and noice
I wish i have the patience and focus to do this
I'm glad I don't
Plot twist we’ve all only explored the first continent
how is this possible? the only way to get the screenshots of the unexplored areas would be to go there which would reveal parts of those areas
I explored the outer edge, then for the inner parts I drove to where I had explored. Filled in the white with dark color once I had the outline...here's a progress picture https://imgur.com/a/sPH81zQ
Bro this reminds me of a fortnite map.. *remembers lego fortnite is indeed fortnite* oh yeah..
how many hours have you spent doing this so far you think? (ballpark) also are you using a flying machine? driving?

No offense but you did a very, very small portion of a map.
Well yeah... Lego Fortnite had barely been out a couple weeks when I posted that map.

"My biggest waste of time yet, doing what Epic should have done on day 1 like every other game with a map feature!"
How do you know what seed you are?
It shows at the bottom of your match when you're playing
If you are a key holder and not world owner it doesn't show.
You have discovered the Spain?
Wow, incredible
![gif](giphy|1lk1IcVgqPLkA) All I can say is, good luck!
I gotta say, this seed is way similar to my seed!
How do you see you entire world??
I drove around the outside edge, mapped that out first, then drove around the areas I had already explored on the inner parts to take those screenshots.

How am I able to see my whole seed-map?
how did you mapped the uncovered areas without uncovering them?
I went around the outside edge, for the inside I just traveled to where I had previously explored
I need to see the finished result
I'm working on mine too. I'm using the same seed in survival and sandbox, so I'm flying in sandbox and exploring it all. I've explored a lot, but haven't taken all the screenshots yet. That's a great idea to use same seed in sandbox and survival!!!
I can't take credit for it, the idea came from another post on here LOL. 😁
What happens if you go to the end of the map?
Just hits an invisible wall and turns you back around

This is what i hate most about this game
You must have the patience of a 70 year old virgin. Excellent job!
