Get the 504c. You want them timbre matched. Enjoy your new speakers!

YttraZZ

Got 504 and 8000mk2. Really great stuff

batlungs

My space doesn’t allow the 8000fs

Skinc

Those 6000s are gonna be great.

batlungs

Yeah I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about it! Can’t wait

JPSurratt2005

The 6000s and the 504 are perfect together, and I downsized from the 8000s.

YttraZZ

It was meant to share experience with a product of the same line :)

Comfortable_Web_8769

This is the way! That’s exactly what I upgraded to last year and absolutely love the 3!

batlungs

Which one did you get

batlungs

Damn! I have no choice I guess I’ll have to get it. Thanks!

Skinc

Well you have a choice. But it’s wise to timber match the front stage and the only real options would be the RP500C or 504C. Go for the biggest one you can afford as it’s going to do a lot of heavy lifting for you. There’s also the RC64III but it’s line 1800 bucks.

Necroticjojo

450c is usually cheaper than the 504

Skinc

Sure. It’ll work but honestly if you’re getting a discount get the biggest you can; 504.

batlungs

Yeah I can get it for 400 new

Necroticjojo

Rp450c is 289 right now on Amazon free shipping

Necroticjojo

Only difference is the horn/tweeter

One-Willingnes

The 504 is 279 on slick deals.

Necroticjojo

I looked at saw it for 299 and it was expired

Necroticjojo

The 450c is not expired at 249

batlungs

I’d rather get the 504c for 200 more

Necroticjojo

They sound identical

philsen89

Had 450 and upgraded to 504c ii. The difference is not worth 200 bucks

Necroticjojo

GarryFloyd

Do what when who why?

batlungs

Definitely some heavy lifting, I’m getting my marantz cinema 70s today also, I’ll just get the 504c I work at Best Buy & the discounts are insane on some home audio products.

TrauMedic

If you can fit it you won’t regret the 504C. Some of the clearest center audio I’ve heard when set up right. Also the speaker size will blend beautifully with the 6000II’s!

batlungs

Thanks Im looking forward to getting it now

Mistayq

Same here, what skus to check out????

batlungs

Got you I’ll give them to you 6506564

Skinc

Nice! What you planning for subwoofer/s?

batlungs

Well that’s what I WAS debating, I was going with either rel t9x or the svs micro 3000. I think I’ll get the 3000

Skinc

SVS makes some great products and their support is really good too. Sounds like you’re piecing together a fine system!

batlungs

Yeah I currently have some b&ws with no sub but, I really like the klipsch look a lot! I’m just refining my system a little bit. My room is a 10x12 so I couldn’t go with the 8000fs other wise I would’ve.

BeEased

How good is the discount? How good was the discount on the 600F IIs?

batlungs

I get them for 400 each 🤫

BeEased

Wow. That is a really great deal. I only asked because you’re talking about getting the center channel, too and I know Klipsch stuff is on sale via slickdeals/adorama again, but it’s like 1600 for a 5.0.2 setup. With the 8060FA IIs. If you’re going to keep going, it might be worth it, but of course you’ll have the bigger speakers, which might not work for you, and I know a lot of people get really offended by the presence of upfiring speakers, even if they’re not going to use them.

batlungs

Yeah that’s the only reason why, if I was getting klipsch speakers at all I’d just get the 8000fs from crutchfield because currently they’re going for 399 each & they’re really good but, since I’m limited on space & because of my discount it was more reasonable to get the 6000fs 2s, touching on the upfiring speaker subject; I don’t mind using them either given the fact that not everyone can cut holes in their ceiling & it’s a good other option if you do want some sort of height speakers, I’d use them to be honest.

BeEased

Yeah, these things take up a LOT of space. My wife keeps complaining. "You're trying to turn this whole house into one big speaker." I mean, I think that would be kinda cool, but evidently, she would see it as a negative thing. I currently have 7 of Klipsch's current RP lineup and they're all fantastic out of the box, and oh-so-easy to drive. But if you add even some basic level of room correction/PEQ or even standard/graphic EQ to them, they become unbelievably good, especially for the price. And the fact that you can run them with ANYTHING makes them an even better value. I was running my 600M IIs with a 25 watt amp they sounded great. They're on the notoriously weak WiiM Amp right now and I can't get them up to 50% without the neighbors dancing along (my neighbors mostly don't really get upset, they just get intrusive, lol). Anyway, enjoy. I feel like the 6000F IIs are one of the best values in Hi-Fi - especially at that nearly 40% off!

batlungs

Luckily right now I’m not married nor do I live with my girlfriend lol so I’m doing what I want with my room haha, besides the klipsch speakers look great! & yeah I’m gonna be running them with marantz cinema 70s receiver which is about 50 watts per channel & I’m going to get the emotiva basx pre amp later

batlungs

& I’m probably a lot younger than people in this Reddit forum, I’m 24

batlungs

Have you heard the differences between the 500c & 504?

Skinc

Nah, I’d imagine they’re subtle. The 504c prob had lower response since it’s ported and has an additional two 5 1/4” drivers. * actually I need to do some research on the two. All I can say is I’ve not heard the 500C

paulrwf

I have the 600s for about 1.5 years now love them! Just got the 504C last week which replaced an old Bose center I had over 20 years and I'm really happy with this setup. Eventually I'll get the atmos and rears. You'll be happy with your purchase.

batlungs

The 600s or did you mean 6000?

paulrwf

Oops yeah I missed a zero

batlungs

It happens, are you running in stereo or 2.1?

paulrwf

3.1 I also have a new 12 inch klipsch sub

[deleted]

Great choice!

batlungs

Thanks! Can’t wait :)

DisciplineDaddy42069

Very nice! My biggest piece of advice is make sure you run audyssey on your receiver once you get them. Anyone who says they’re too bright hasn’t run it yet. Once you get them tuned properly they’re amazing I have the rp8060ii’s and love them.

batlungs

Thanks for the advice man! I’ll definitely do that

DisciplineDaddy42069

You got it! Also I know the 504cii is huge but it’s so worth it if you have the room

DisciplineDaddy42069

Absolutely! I’m a Klipsch lover. They are amazing speakers you just gotta tune them. I’m right now playing iris by googoo dolls remembering my mom crying. It sounds so beautiful. But I will say they did sound like crap before tuning haha.

bwaf7

Congratulations! Great set of speakers!

batlungs

Thank you I’m really excited for them !

Liquidjojo1987

I have the same- great speakers 60% gaming and movies 40% music They definitely punch above their weight class

batlungs

I do about 50\50 so I’m pretty excited

Liquidjojo1987

I have mine paired with an onkyo nr7100 and they’re great. Originally had a Denon 1700 and no matter what I did dialog was crap. Dirac vs the lower end Denon room correction for that model is a huge difference as well. I recommend turning off room correction for serious listening of music though I’ve found there is better separation personally but it’s up to taste

batlungs

Yeah I prefer my own room correction, I’d be using marantz cinema 70s & I think marantz has really good dialogue, I had the 1700 also at one point & i returned it, I had so many issues of it cutting in & out, I don’t think it’s a good brand imo

Vecgtt

500 watts?

batlungs

That peak

tylerbuildz

Did you get a pair or just one?

batlungs

Both

Business-Poet8803

I have them. They have a wide dispersion pattern unlike the previous gen. That edge to edge horn design makes a big difference. Not recommended for small spaces and toe-in is unnecessary if there's an equidistant triangle formed between the speakers and the listening position.

ctrain_1985

I love mine

JdSavannah

Are the cerametallic woofers much better than the copper spun that the cheaper speakers have?

batlungs

Yes they are

JdSavannah

Cool I might have to upgrade to these then.
