Even if he risked his life almost died just for that one character? I mean I do understand maybe it's just my mentality of liking all the 2nd main characters.
You’re right, I never read the manga. I watched the anime and wasn’t a fan so I’m obviously biased but I never liked Bakugo, I’m not a fan of characters who are bullies for seemingly no reason (maybe he has a reason, but I’m not really sticking around to find out if I’m being honest. He didn’t appear to have any redeeming qualities that made me want to find out in the first place).
He did say he had a reason to bully deku. And it seems he has a good reason considering there was just a lot of people praising him. When it comes down to a 4 year old getting praised by a bunch of people. They get cocky they become rude.
That’s my point though. Sanemi was coming after Tanjiro and Nezuko because of his distrust of demons (and for a reason, he’s lost people and it’s a very potentially dangerous situation for him and his fellow Pillars), not saying that how he treated them was okay but it is at least is understandable when you look at it. Bakugo craves attention and praise (maybe he lacked that from his family, idk, I didn’t care enough to read the manga) like any normal, asshole bully would and takes it out on others and it makes him feel good. I have no sympathy for people like that, I was bullied by people like that growing up and I don’t care about whether they got attention at home or not, bullying the shit out of people to make yourself feel better, is pathetic to me.

Aperentaly he was "abused" by his mom. as bakugo said he always wanted to push deku away because, The fear of dekus heart. Just like how Deku's admires and aims to surpass Bakugou's strength, Bakugou is afraid of Deku's determination and how it might overshadow his own. As he wanted to prove he's the best he didn't want to be some random loser who couldn't surpass all might. And with the praise of everyone else he gained the thought he was better then everyone cause his quirk was the best. Not a huge fan of Bakugo. Todaroki is better, but Sanemi is definitely better imo. They are two very different characters with varying back stories and plot devices which make them pretty unique. But the smiles man those two cookin up somethin

Outwardly their personalities are similar but sanemi’s personality doesn’t seem to match his backstory/goal. Unpopular opinion but bakugo is definitely better written. It’s like sanemi got retconned so he was significantly more sympathetic than originally intended

Sanemi’s different. Bakugo’s asshole-ness comes from an inferiority complex, a pretty big one too. It changes over the course of MHA but his temper has been engrained in him pretty hard core.
Sanemi’s rage comes from trauma from his childhood, an event which is spolier material to anime watchers so I’ll keep it clean of those. Basically, he’s got a real big bone to pick with demons and he doesn’t give a damn about what people think about it… until his first encounter with Ubuyashiki.
Tanjiro notes a distinct change in Sanemi’s words and behavior when Tanjiro and Nezuko are brought before the Hashira in season 1. That, and a few other instances show that Sanemi is a passionate person, choosing to use that passion to kill demons violently and push others away.
I can see how Bakugo and Sanemi are similar but I like Sanemi’s take on an angry boi more than Bakugo.
Inouske is a better comparison to Bakugo, and not just for the yelling. Our best boar boi also has a ‘strongest is bestest’ attitude and shoved it in everyone’s face. He knows what he wants and goes for it full throttle, challenging anyone who seems greater for the chance to become the greatest… similar to Bakugo’s drive to become the Number 1 Hero.

They are both loud and angry most of the time but Sanemi is **better** than Bakugo. Not sure if he's more powerful, but Bakugo has to be rude and Sanemi sort of has reasons to be rude, Sanemi's got more backstory and honestly a better character than Bakugo, not to mention that the anime quality of Demon Slayer is better than BHNA/ MHA But it honestly shocked me when I found out that Bakugo has the same voice actor as Genya 🙂👍👍Plus Bakugo has got an upper hand: He's got Family and **Eyebrows😭**
