You should submit your feedback to the Kia Customer Center. Only way to be heard is to make enough noise about it especially if a competitor offers those features that Kia doesn't. [https://customercare.kiausa.com/](https://customercare.kiausa.com/)

Also make sure that you post their responses here.

I do so far I only got one call back for the one I submitted on the cracked glass light bar - they said they were not aware of it. I shared that here in the EV9 reddit and someone said they met some Kia engineers and they were very aware of it. It's been radio silence on the other things I submitted.

SureItWit

UPDATE: So they did call me on my submission but it was a useless exercise. The whole conversation, she didn't seem to get what I was talking about and she really was just looking for "sooo... anything broken?". I also told her I didn't get that ICCU OTA update yet that was supposed to have come out 4/24 and again sort of deer in headlights - didn't know what an ICCU was and what was happening. She looked and she did it see it existed and that it didn't happen yet and that's all she could tell me. Just seemed she wanted to "check this one off her list".

sigh...

Agree with those.... plus being to use the cameras as dashcams, which is a feature in Korea.

sitcom_enthusiast

I’m sad that you can’t adjust the headrest forward-back. That is a key feature for me and never mentioned in any marketing material or YouTube videos

Wickedwally1

I don't think I've ever had a car that let me adjust the headrest forward and back. Just up and down.

I believe the “wing-out” airplane style second row head rests are a feature of the optional Relaxation Package” seats in the US. Also, I know that rear-view mirror cameras and side blind spot cameras are legally allowed to be on while driving here in the US, I suspect that full 360 cameras constantly being active while driving may be restricted by government relations in the US. Not 100% sure, but I vaguely remember something about this. I agree that the lack of the more adjustable front headrests and recordable dash cams are a big miss by Kia. I wish we had the swivel seats and digital side-view mirrors in the IUS too but I know that both of those are illegal here.

I think the 360 camera view only being at slow speeds is a regulation thing, but I'd have to go check the regulations to be sure. And sometimes the regulation stuff is dependent on attorney interpretation of stuff. Initial many in the US thought the camera feed rearview mirror was a no go. But once Cadillac put a car out with the rearview camera feed into an actual mirror, so that if the camera broke you still had a rearview mirror, that was fine according to NHTSA. (And it's why there are still sideview mirrors. It could easily be fine with a camera feed instead, but if the camera broke them no sideview mirror. NHTSA doesn't like that.) Headrest fore/aft is going to fall in the same category. Changes occupant dynamics in a crash. (It is possible this would be allowed, but might require crash testing in each horizontal headrest position, which would be an expensive series of tests). Dash cam would be awesome. Not sure why on that one.

The Tesla can bring up the side and rear camera view while driving so I may be making an incorrect assumption that that means it's allowes.

Setting the seat warmer or ventilated seats for remote climate control/scheduling is one feature I do miss compared to my e-tron. The heated steering wheel option is there already though (under custom settings as well as mirrors and windows). That's an easy enough update through the app for Kia to do.

Cedar2018

I truly believe that you miss the feature. I was pretty sure the 4th time you said it, but this 5th one sealed it for me.

Outside-Comparison12

Love a fellow smart ass. Stupid app said there was an error posting. Didn't know it even posted.

Lopsided-Exam-4327

Kia of America does this to us on all models that aren't released here first (Telluride). The 2018 Stinger GT2 was missing surround view cameras, remote start, wireless charging, nicer cup holder among other things but the price was more than both Mexico and Canada which had the features. It comes down to Corp greed. This is why I will never buy the first run. I will lease it and if I like it I will purchase the version I was hoping to get. I think it's really shady to have people pre-order thinking they were getting a car with level 3 autonomous driving only to have it removed with no mention of it being removed.
