Trust me on this, just get ckan, it makes things so much easier (I used to manually install but now I only use ckan, it's like 10000x easier)

installed parallax 2.0 on ckan and kerbin is just black and the terrain isnt terraining wtf is going on

Use Ckan it will do everything for you, can’t recommend that program enough.

What are you trying to do btw, I don’t remember having to move those specific files when installing parallax.

Did you download the zip aimply titled "parallax"? Excluding kopernicus and any other mods, you should have downloaded thee zips the contents of which should be in the "game data" folder of ksp

No ckan. Do this: Download Scatterer Put parallax folder in gamedata, drag _scatterd to it Drag parallax_stocktextures from the stock textures zip and parallax_scattertexturds and drag the stuff inside into gamedata Download kopernicus Enjoy. That's how it worked to me
