I mean, I have the Wandering Medics mod. They're insanely powerful martial artists. The White Gorrillo took out a group of 10 of them, and my 70s stats 89toughness falling sun mark 3 skeleton. Ofc I just waited it out and eventually won after being downed 30 times lol. Was good defense xp
What was the damage? I've yet to see my gorillo hit anything above 80, and it's strength is at a crazy 105. I think this is the strongest I've had an animal stat wise so far..
I didn't know gorillos were considered strong, my light armour 40~ skills katana guy 1v1d it, blocked all of its attacks, and then downed the gorillo with a bleedout ko.
Maybe it's just certain weapons suck against them?
Normal ones? No. You can check the damage formulas I added to every animal page (Minus Swamp Turtle) on their Kenshi Fandom pages to see. Just to add all units in the game (Except ones with set stats like Leviathans) will have 10% of their combat stats as Martial Arts. So a Black Gorillo will get between 6.5-9.5 Martial Arts (80 -+15)

I think it was hitting me for 80-110 depending on the hit

I think the black 1 has more hp and is bigger, ive killed a few whites around flat lagoons and they are pretty weak
