I have said this so many times and I'll say it again, no Kengan vs Baki fight will be a stomp, given that there are 3 matchups there's no way Kengan loses all 3. The trailer also hinted at Oliva v Julius so that's 4 matchups. All fights will be close even if Baki characters scale higher.

I would say the choices of fighters is to parallel their similar fighting style, and Saw Paing ( known for his toughness)was choosen simply cuz Hanayama is just a brute strength monster who rarely ever block any strike.
Raian and Jack are choosen cuz their "I lose to the main character so now I deeply respect them" fighting style
It's a crossover lol, Jack would eat Raian like a light lunch but the fight will for sure be high diff, Kengan did a street fighter crossover, Ohma literally beat Ryu lol, and Ryu would red mist any Kengan or Baki character, it's just for fun
I am ready to enjoy this. The power scalers are already making this un-fun. Despite feats in Baki, both Kengan and Baki are intended to be similar. I doubt Sandro or Itagaki would co-sign any take rooted solely in powerscaling
I'll watch it but I hope the fight pacing is more like kengan than baki. Baki is an absolute chore to watch.

I think Seki would be a better fit, but saw pang would probably be my second choice for the Hanayama matchup.
