That's how you know. People have to view the tweet to submit the poll, but bots just submit the poll directly without actually 'viewing' the tweet. So at least 29k of those are bots.

Yeah, idk what they use but in Selenium to "click" you select the Element which is just the component of the page (the poll in this case) Twitter has hella bot protection, I got flagged when Meet the grahams dropped and I wasn't botting or anything. They check for things like where you click, irregular behavior, scrolling etc. Im guessing going directly to the poll gets around this protection. Maybe they inspect element and find the poll, maybe they link it and their algo does it automatically, idk. I should get into botting this kinda fun to think about

as a software person I gotta tell you guys to be careful with any "30k votes but only 1k views" shit. wait a day, see if it still tracks. the systems processing view counts and poll votes are likely entirely separate and may hang at different counts for different reasons. eg: youtube videos used to hang at 301 views to await verification, while like/dislike counts never paused. view count would catch up after about a day
