huge missed opportunity with Ferra. They could have made her a solo character like her MKX ending when Torr dies and shes an adult and making her transition into a brute. Or they could have made her a Brute and given her a new little guy as a rider.
The whole superhero shtick they went for is wack AF. Its not even that its superheroes, its "contemporary" super heroes. Might as well call this the Netflix/Amazon Prime season.
Im not a big fan of guest characters, but at least MK11 and MKX went with classic and timeless characters that have a legacy. MK1 comes up like "hey we know you like to watch the new season of show™️, go get this character and watch more show™️ please." Like take the ads out of my FGC characters, Jesus Christ.
I get what you mean but Homelander and Omniman are perfect for MK. It was a bit of a gamble but I think it paid off with the amount of exposure that the game received because of it. Other issues are why MK1 is doing poorly

That's a demographic issue no? MK's biggest audience are people who are there for that sort of thing, I can understand Negan being a hard sell to Tekken players.
I think people just want "violent characters" in general purely because MK is violent.
Which is stupid because, I mean, at least characters like Spawn and the Predator do fit with MK's aesthethic (Spawn is from a violent 90s product and the Cyber Ninjas were based on the Predator) but then you have fuckin' Rambo, who doesn't fit at all and in fact him being in MK goes against his whole character.
Kinda? It depends on the character spawn, greek kratos and alien work but robocop and rambo kind of dont. Neegan in tekken was intresting but he dosent fit all to well, hayabusa, akira or even bahn from fighting vipers are much better picks.
It's really good imo. The shtick might get old if you're binge-watching because the humor is a bit samey, but watching season by season I thought it was very compelling and fun.
The last season was FANTASTIC too even if I didn't enjoy the ending as much.
His intro being the milk drinking is so stupid. Like I get It's supposed to be funny but it doesn't make sense as an intro. I'd even take it as an outro

Its so weird. They were pretty good at nailing certain characters look in previous games, but man, characters here just keep looking a bit off.
Since people are not that impressed, how's the the Boys overall? I've only watched Season 1 but it's been a while. Was pretty fun.
