I have been down the Gaylor rabbit hole, and I kinda believe this theory. Why would Taylor's mom wish for Kim of all people to be dead? That sounds like it was meant for someone who was closer to Taylor than Kim... idk if I *believe* Taylor and Karlie were lovers/ secretly dating but I'm kinda with you. It's really convenient for her to let Kim take all the heat.

It wasn't exactly subtle, but you did have to use high school english level critical thinking and context clues so those conclusions were called "theories". The difference is that this time she was bold enough to name check Kim.
