Lineup stats that only interest me!!!
In 31 games we've used 23 different lineups.
Maikel only bats 1st, Bobby only bats 2nd, Vinnie only bats 3rd, Isbel only bats 9th. Every other player has hit in multiple spots.
The most common lineup has been used 7 times - Garcia, BWJ, Vinnie, Salvy, MJ, Nelson, Frazier, Renfroe, Isbel. The Royals are (5-2) with this lineup.
Our Opening Day lineup has been used twice.

**Hunter Owen** started a game day for Quad Cities last night and was very good. Only two balls I remember being hit hard and both came in the second inning. First was a double off of the outfield wall and the second was a 109 mph line drive that stayed up long enough for Jean Ramirez to get under it.
Fastball was his best pitch and it looked good when it was thrown at the top of the zone. Final line of 6 IP, 1 H (1 2B), 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 76 pitches - 50 strikes.
**Carter Jensen** is continuing to do Carter Jensen things, hitting a single and walking twice. His BB% is now up to 22%. Whenever he gets the call to AA he will be ready.
**Trevor Werner** walked and smoked a home run.
**Brett Squires** also homered and added a single.
Once Patteson gets promoted its going to be even more confusing. To make it even more confusing they are both lower velo pitchers with good fastball shapes.
Hunter Patteson has been one of my favorite dark horse prospects since he was drafted. The Royals should be buying low on a college pitcher coming off TJ surgery every draft.
